My mum was under the care of Nightingales for about a year and a half until October 2024. All the girls were kind, caring, efficient, thoughtful and, above all, so cheerful and comforting when talking to my mum. Even when the odd need arose to call the office, whoever answered the phone did so speedily and was so easy and lovely to talk to. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services and I'm very happy that they were introduced to me at a time when we needed them most. A huge thank you to all the Nightingales staff!

Nightingale’s lovely carers visited our mother twice and then eventually three times a day to help our Dad cope with her dementia. We met several of the carers (all female) during the many months that they helped and they were all lovely. They were all very positive and cheerful in their demeanour and were able to help Mum with respect and in a gentle, yet sometimes necessarily firm way. They were always on time and mostly stayed for the allotted time slots which is admirable in their very busy shift patterns. We appreciated their flexibility in last-minute cancelling when my sisters or I were able to be there to do the caring, sometimes at short notice. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Nightingales have been visiting my Mum since August 2022. I have had the pleasure of knowing some of them for some years now! My Mum was very settled when Nightingales took over her care. All the staff have been understanding as to her needs and she has looked forward to them visiting on a daily basis. I cannot praise them enough for their help, kindness and patience, they have been excellent in every way and I am so grateful to them for all they have done for my Mum, they also took a lot of the pressure off of me knowing she was in capable hands and safe and gave me peace of mind. Thank you Nightingales so much!

Nightingales have cared for my mother 2-3 times daily since January 2018. Mother has suffered the whole of this time from Alzheimer Disease. I have found their staff to be very caring and understanding towards her the whole time.

First of all my brother is with Nightingales getting the best care ever, they have been a credit to the company, they are all a very good team, they all work together and have such a wonderful bond. Now for the care they give to my brother, believe me, he can be a very awkward person and a bit of a hard nut to crack but the team seem to know in which direction they need to go with my brother so I know we as a family have no concerns as we know he is in safe hands. I live four and a half hours away from my brother, I have a mum who lives in the same town as me, she is in her 90s so as you can imagine I am quite torn between Lincolnshire and Essex but I never worry as I know my brother is in safe hands, he has had a few falls lately and one staff member has straight away phoned me to tell me and always tells me an ambulance is on their way or one of the carers are looking after him, we are absolutely over the moon with Nightingales, we know that my brother is in safe hands so thank you all.

Nightingale staff have been caring for my mother, who suffers from Parkinsons' Disease, for a few years now, and the care that she receives from all of them is contemporary. Both my brother and I live over 100 miles from our parents' home, and we are greatly reassured that the Nightingales staff are so friendly, understanding of our mother's needs, and really care for those in their charge. If you are looking for peace of mind for trusting the care of a family member/relative, do not hesitate to contact Nightingales.

We were lucky enough to have Nightingales recommended to us and they were excellent. They cared and looked after my father for the last 8 months of his life. All the carers were so kind and helpful and Dad enjoyed their company. He looked forward to them coming round and really appreciated all they did. Their care was brilliant and they also brought a lot of cheer and and humour for Dad during difficult times. Nothing was ever to much trouble and it was always quick and straightforward in dealing with their office if anything needed to be changed or updated. We were very satisfied with Nightingales and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

My dad did not want any more hospital stays and we promised him he could stay with us no matter what. We contacted Nightingales who were responsive and caring from the first phone call. All the carers were polite, professional and respectful. They always sought Dad’s opinion as to what he wanted and never spoke down to him. They always called him by his name and, although they had many other clients, they never rushed. At the beginning we did not know that my dad was at end of life. Not only was their care impeccable, they offered emotional support to me too. It was a hard time in my life and I know I could not have honoured my promise to Dad without Nightingales. I cannot thank each and every one of them enough.

Nightingales Services helped care for my mother in her later years. They gave wonderful support to both my mother and us, as a family. Their level of care and reliability was first class and they always found time to make my mother laugh. I know she enjoyed their visits and they enhanced her life. I am very grateful to all staff and the office, who were always very accommodating. At such a hard time of life when they are needed, they don't just give exceptional service, you know they actually care and want to make a difference. Thank you.

My overall experience with Nightingales is one of total satisfaction, the caring attitude of all the care team was exemplary right up until my dear mother's passing. My mother had other care companies but Nightingales care team far excelled all others and my mother experienced her happiest times with the amazing team. I am happy to discuss further if required.

My father received wonderful care from Nightingales. They were always attentive and caring. They looked after him over a period of two years and he came to see them as friends. We couldn't have asked for better.

My mother had carers from this company since the Spring of 2022 until her death recently. The staff who supported my mum were absolutely lovely. They were kind and conscientious and punctual. They treated mum with the utmost gentleness when supporting her with her personal care and listened to any concerns either of my parents had about Mum's frail and deteriorating health. The Carers have on numerous occasions gone above and beyond and called for extra medical support for my mum and also helped in supplying or signposting for mum to receive additional personal care aids e.g. support cushions etc. My parents always felt respected and listened to. They always had time for a little chat and words of support.

Nightingales offer an excellent service in every respect, and we cannot thank them enough for their care, understanding and support for my late grandfather and our family. All really lovely people to welcome into your home at a difficult time. They helped to make my grandfather's last few days at home comfortable and enjoyable. The cheerful greetings, care and compassion on every visit were appreciated.

Nightingales have been a pleasure to have supported us. After a fall, my husband needed some caring support, and this was our first time having carers. They were easy to deal with on the phone, putting us at ease. One lady visited for an initial assessment, and we were able to start someone straight away at a time of our choosing. All their carers, without exception, have been delightful. We've had the most visits from one carer, who has been a real star. As my husband recovered, we reduced our support and have felt accommodated by Nightingales throughout. Very highly recommended.

We can't praise this company enough for their understanding, care and support of our late mother. All the carers went above and beyond to make life comfortable for her. She died peacefully at home with their support. Nothing was too much trouble. The family feel blessed to have found them.

It is rare in this modern age to receive service of such high standards. The administrator was helpful, efficient and in constant touch. The carers were, without exception, superb. They did their work well and in an extremely friendly and caring manner. Something is very right with a company and management who have such a good team.

Nightingales looked after my father-in-law for about 3 years. The carer who mainly looked after him was exceptional in her care for him, conscientious, managed to win his confidence and looked after him very well and with good humour. Nightingales were easy to communicate with and they kept us informed of any changes in his circumstances. The office staff has a deep understanding of the needs of older people, he was reassuring and kind. We were grateful to have found Nightingales.

I was recently back in the UK visiting my sick Mum (Penny) and was very unsure of what to expect when I heard that she was receiving 4 carer visits per day. I can only say that all the carers are amazing, from the way they make everything seem so easy and relaxed and, most of all, the way they help my Mum to be combatable and happy. If you didn't know, you would think the carers are part of the family. I truly cannot thank Nightingale Services enough for the way they look after my Mum and the peace of mind it has given me. Being 10,000 miles away knowing Nightingale carers are there taking the best care of my Mum is so reassuring. My eternal thanks.

My mother and father's carer is a credit to your company, always willing to listen and help as well as do whatever is necessary to make my parent's life easier. She has become a friend to all of our family and we will be sorry to lose her when my parents move.

I can't imagine it's possible for a care agency to have better timekeeping than Nightingales. With a good team and some exceptional carers. One, in particular, was dearly loved by my late mother. She would always go the extra mile, reassuringly rock-solid, efficient and on the ball. Thank you to all at Nightingales.
