View Full Details of Sussex Grange Home Care (Chichester, Selsey, Hambrook)I was recovering from an operation so amount of care gradually diminished. Very flexible care helped enormously towards being able to look after myself. Very. helpful, knowledgeable and friendly carers who could turn their hands to any task. I was sad to say goodbye. Fully recommended
Our dad was an independent (and at times stubborn!) man. He was reluctant to accept help from anyone but eventually agreed to have carers in place at home. Dad very quickly adjusted to having daily visits and began to build good relationships with his carers. He became very fond of them and looked forward to them visiting. The carers and management team not only supported our dad but also us as an entire family. They gave us regular updates on our dad's condition and talked us through potential solutions and ideas to make things easier for him. Towards the end of his period of home care, the kindness and compassion shown by the entire team was overwhelming. Even when our dad was admitted to a hospice, the team still wanted to visit him and genuinely cared about his condition. The Sussex Grange team were not only carers to our dad but also some of his best friends. We will be forever grateful for their support at such a difficult time.
My father received the most fantastic home care by all of the carers that visited him. He was treated with dignity at all times and nothing was too much trouble. Whether that meant carrying out personal hygiene or making a cup of tea or just having a chat! A big thank you to all the carers & others that made the last few months of my father's life more comfortable, for both of us. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sussex Grange homecare services.
My mum has received excellent care from Sussex Grange Home Care for many years. She had four visits per day and my dad was also her carer. In early November my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I moved down from Yorkshire to help care for my parents. The staff and management were wonderful at supporting all of us. Throughout this whole horrible time, the staff were kind, professional and compassionate and they went over and above for us. The manager fought hard for Sussex Grange to be approved as the care provider for Dad in his final weeks which was his wish. Dad was very happy when this was granted. The staff cared for both my parents in their own home with compassion and dignity, even shaving dad on the day that he died as they knew this was important to him. Sadly Mum died unexpectedly four days before Dad died. The staff, especially two staff members in particular were a shoulder to cry on for me. I cannot thank them enough or praise Sussex Grange highly enough. Would definitely recommend!
Angels in green tabards is the only way to describe Sussex Grange. My father made the decision to stop his cancer treatment and have end-of-life care at home, and seeing these ladies twice/three times a day made my father feel very comfortable and at ease with what was happening. Not only did they arrive each time with a smile and warm hands/hearts, but they nursed my father through the toughest period of his life with dignity and compassion. They were a massive support structure also to myself and my mother in the last remaining weeks of his life, offered that supportive shoulder to lean on in a very tough time. As a family, we were truly blessed to have Sussex Grange in our lives, support with a smile, care with love, compassion and dignity throughout.
Sussex Grange supported my mum whilst I had a couple of weeks holiday out of the UK. I am Mum's primary caregiver and wanted to make sure she was looked after whilst I was away. At the preassessment, we went through everything, processes, likes, dislikes etc. The care plan was thorough and detailed. Everything ran very smoothly and Mum was happy with all the carers. It gave me massive reassurance to know that should anything happen they would deal with it. I will definitely be using them again for future holidays.
The Sussex Grange team of home carers has been Angels in disguise for our family. At a time when our father was in urgent need of support, the team were there within 10 minutes to carry out an assessment and started supporting our father immediately. The carers are extremely professional and treat our father with compassion and dignity. Communication is excellent, with any concerns being flagged to us immediately. The team go above and beyond to ensure that our father is looked after and cared for and importantly he looks forward to their visits and trusts them. We feel truly lucky to have found them.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone from the care team and management looking after my mother. They have been exceptional in attending to her daily needs ensuring her comfort. The caregivers are always punctual, respectful and maintain a high level of professionalism. They show genuine compassion and empathy, making my mother feel valued and cared for. Their communication is excellent, keeping me well-informed about her condition and any changes in her care plan. They go above and beyond by engaging her in activities she enjoys and ensuring she feels at home. Thanks to an amazing team of people.
We are all as a family really happy with the level and quality of care offered by the Sussex Grange Home Care team to Dad over the last 2 years, it has given us great peace of mind and has enabled Dad to continue living independently at home. Thanks to everyone on the team for all you have done and continue to do for us.
The manager and deputy came out to see Mum before the care started to understand her requirements. The staff were very friendly and made sure Mum received the care and support she needed in her own home, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this service.
Sussex Grange carers and managers all provided excellent care for my late mum. They were professional at all times and always displayed respect, empathy and were very sensitive to the way they provided care. Carers were always reliable and didn't rush their visits. Carers became not only Mum's friends but also our friends as they kept us informed with any concerns regarding Mum's health or mobility needs. Carers always showed respect and remained professional, even when Mum could be cantankerous at times. They respected Mum and her home and always demonstrated professionalism for themselves and Sussex Grange as a company. Carers went the extra mile and always put Mum at the centre of her care. They were always patient and tried to encourage and enable Mum to do things for herself that she was able to do in a safe way. They kept Mum as independent as possible for as long as possible to enable her to remain living alone in her own home as per her wishes.
We have been very impressed by the care shown to Mum. The brief was to help her regain independence after a fall and broken arm. This has been done leading to a gradual withdrawal of the service. Everyone has been friendly and professional and has helped to show Mum tricks to make life easier, like putting on her vest. It is lovely that such a good relationship has been built up. This means that we want you to continue a weekly visit for assistance with a bath and we know that should we require more help in the future it will not be something we or Mum need to be worried about.
I couldn’t recommend this care company enough. We recently had Sussex Grange to cover care for our family holiday and was overjoyed with the care my dad received. The management team were so helpful and organised and the carers couldn’t have been lovelier. Every morning we were greeted with bright bubbly smiles and enthusiasm. My dad felt so at ease with the whole team and it was lovely to hear the laughter and positivity whilst care was being provided. They also gave great recommendations for things to do on our trip. A huge thank you to the whole team from us all. Looking forward to booking again in the summer!
I am a joint Power of Attorney for a service user and we are very grateful for the thoughtful and particular care that is given to our friend. The Grange is always available to answer our queries and ready to find solutions. This makes everything easier so thank you to everyone involved in her care. It is clear that communication works well in this service.
My mum started using Sussex Grange care services around 7 years ago. As she became less mobile and her health issues increased, Sussex Grange were able to accommodate extra home visits and services. They are friendly, reliable and consistent. The whole team treated her with dignity and respect, often going out of their way and above and beyond to check on her and make sure she was ok. Mum feels like she has made some lovely friendships over the years. With their care and support my mum managed to remain in her own home for as long as possible. Now the time has come to move into 24-hour care near us, but I know she would recommend Sussex Grange to anyone that needs extra support or care in their home, as would I.
The Sussex Grange Home Care Team have been outstanding in their dealings with us and the twice-daily care they have supported Mum with. In particular they have gone above and beyond with supporting Mum when she has been unwell. Mum really appreciates their friendly faces each day and my sister and I feel confident Mum is well cared for and safe. Thank you Sussex Grange!
Excellent attitude and care from all staff. I am very impressed by the high standards of care. Having experience of training care workers myself I am most impressed. Staff, without exception, are sensible and attentive/previously I refused visits but now I welcome and look forward to visits and I think make a positive contribution to my progress.
I have chosen palliative care for Colon Cancer and left the hospital in September 2023 requiring daily care and Sussex Grange Home Care were suggested and arranged following my discharge. They contacted my wife and made immediate cover available quickly and easily. To date, they have supplied excellent friendly and professional care on a daily basis and all of my carers have made me comfortable and able to make the best out of each day. They are always on time or let me know if any unforeseen circumstances may make them late together with issuing updated information each week on who is going to attend each day.
I would like to say thank you to the Sussex Grange carers and their Manager for their continued help and support with my uncle. They will always flag any issues that may arise and will always make time to talk about any concerns I may have. Thank you once again to you all.
We were recommended to Sussex Grange Home Care by a friend and were so grateful for their help on a short-term basis. My husband had a bad fall and needed some personal care on his return from hospital. Nothing was too much trouble when I initially made contact and although we only needed help for a short while, the professionalism of the managers and carers was exceptional. I was kept informed at all times as to who would be visiting and the wonderful carers always arrived on time and were happy to help with anything that needed doing. There were occasions when we had to change the day for visits as we still had hospital appointments to keep and this was always accommodated in a polite and efficient manner. Thank you all at Sussex Grange for coming to our aid when we needed it most. We have no hesitation in recommending their services and will reach for the phone should we ever need help again.
