View Full Details of Home Instead (Nottingham)Very impressed with all aspects of Home Instead. Carers 1st class. Case manager 1st class. Office staff 1st class. Carers 99% on time and if they were going to be late they would always ring in advance. Carers were always respectful, caring, kind and compassionate.
My mum has had home care visits and supplied the most amazing support for over 2 years. She looks forward to the carers' visits and thoroughly enjoys their company. As a family, we know they go above and beyond to help Mum and ourselves. Would recommend it to any family looking for a great carer.
Home Instead Nottingham have cared for my dad for 17 months prior to his admission to a nursing home. I can't speak highly enough of everyone concerned from the initial assessment, which was thorough and kind, through to the office staff and of course the carers themselves. Everyone was kind and considerate to both Dad and the rest of the family. The carers went over and above to help him. It's a pity I can't name people individually but you know who you are! A huge thank you to you all.
Home Instead are quite simply fantastic. The service and care they provide is second to none. We changed my Mums care provider this year on a recommendation. It’s the best decision we have made by far. She loves her carers and really looks forward to their visits. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they go way over and above in everything they do. It is such a huge relief for our family to find Home Instead - just lovely kind people who really do care.
Home Instead looked after my late father for the last two and a half years of his life. During this time he became increasingly frail and in need of assistance with everything he needed to do. At all times all the staff, both those in the office and his carers treated him with dignity, deep kindness and respectful fondness, nothing however challenging or unexpected was too much trouble. This was a huge comfort to both my father and myself. He trusted them and was always glad when they were with him, and I knew that whatever time of day or night I had to call someone would be there to listen, talk, help and reassure me. On the day of his death, the kindness and support I was given was invaluable and beyond all expectations. I wasn't left to fend for myself but helped by staff and his carers throughout the saddest of days. I have recommended Home Instead to friends ever since and will always do so.
We are very happy with the care my father is receiving from Home Instead. The information, organisation and management are all excellent and everything is done to help the client and family make a difficult transition into having care at home. The carers are wonderful, kind, courteous, respectful, friendly, professional and dependable. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone wanting the best of care whilst choosing to remain living a home.
I have always been satisfied with the care I have received from Home Instead. The carers I have had for the last two years have seen me through the bad times and good times. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. Two of my friends who don't need care at the moment have said that they would certainly use Home Instead when the time came.
The initial assessment helped my mum to feel at ease, the carers were friendly and respectful and supported my mum to be as independent as she can be. I was very pleased with the service and would definitely use Homestead again in the future.
The service we have received has been very good. From the office and the carers. We will continue to use them if and when we need to.
I have been using Home Instead since my discharge home from the hospital. Their care has allowed me to recover quicker. The team that I have been placed with have been exceptional and I have made some lasting friendships. I would highly recommend their service to others that may be in need of some support.
My wife is bedridden and has numerous medical issues. Doctors and nurses added her to their fast track, and I submitted myself to inevitable depression. Home Instead’s care team’s energy and enthusiastic support has helped both my wife and myself immensely. My wife has been removed from the fast track for the time being. I now have time to swim thousands of meters per week, visit friends and relatives and have some much-needed me time. I would and do recommend their services.
We have been using Home Instead to provide carers for my 90 year old dad for the last 6 months. On the whole, we are very satisfied with the experience. In particular, I have been impressed by the flexibility of the company to make changes to visiting times and locations and to take account of my dad’s preferences. The cost of care is not cheap, but it is worth it for my peace of mind, and to know that a carer will always come when they are supposed to.
Fantastic service and care for my Dad, both from the office staff and the carers who visit 3 times a day. Office staff friendly and always on hand via the phone and by email to discuss Dad's care. All the carers really do care and give first class service.
I cannot thank the Team at Home Instead enough. Every single person has given my Mum excellent support and care. From first contact until to date they have been polite, helpful and professional. The Carers are wonderful and my Mum went from being sceptical to looking forward to their visits. What wonderful people.
All Home Instead employees, both those visiting my home and those I contact in the office, are at all times extremely courteous and honest. I have no complaints whatsoever of bad behaviour or rude contact or mismanagement. Thank you.
Over a period exceeding five years, Home Instead (Nottingham) provided care firstly for my father, then after his passing, my mother. Dad had dementia and the focus was on providing regular stimulating (mostly male) company and to give Mum a break. This was highly successful but as Dad's condition worsened Home Instead were able to adapt their care through to end-of-life. It's quite simple, the family could not have managed without Home Instead. The carers were on the one hand assiduously careful with Dad but also human in all their reactions and interactions with Mum and the rest of the family. Subsequently, Mum's needs increased and Home Instead continued to provide a regular team who have become Mum's friends as she continued to enjoy their company whilst they kindly assist with eg. washing, meal prep and when required GP liaison. Mum will be saying goodbye in the next few weeks as she moves-in with my sister in another part of the UK, but none of us will forget the top quality care both she and Dad received!
Excellent friendly service, nothing is too much trouble. Have required extra days the last month, due to father in law going into hospital, arranged at short notice and were really accommodating.
A professional review. Caring and asking if service we receive needs changing. Listens to what we are saying. Even though Mum has dementia, they always talk to and include her. Very pleased with the service we receive.
We are extremely satisfied with the service for our Auntie. The carers are extremely polite and sociable and are very kind and it's reassuring to know our Auntie is in good hands. In fact Auntie looks forward to the contact, chat and can't wait for them to arrive. Nothing is too much trouble and the Carers go that extra mile to ensure Auntie has all she wants. A big thank you to our two lovely carers.
Can't fault the service from the team, right from the manager to the carers. I had them to look after my aunt and my father. They were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Kept me informed all the way. The carers even got my aunt to start eating properly. My father always looks forwards to the visits. Thank you, brilliant.
