View Full Details of Home Instead (East Northants)A very happy experience.
I enjoy the company and look forward to the day they come. Very good care and staff in office very good.
I have only been using Home Instead (East Northants) since April when I left hospital they were very supportive and put 24 hour care in place very quickly. I look forward to seeing the ladies every day who are very caring, friendly and professional.
Home Instead have been looking after my aunt who has had Alzheimer’s since October 2022. She lives alone and they provide a friendly face everyday. The ladies ensure she has taken her medication, carry out household chores, help with general tidying, check her fridge for sell-by dates, and take her food shopping. To her keep fit, they go on outings to the garden centre or local park. Before leaving, they prepare a hot meal and drink. I live forty miles away and it gives me real piece of mind to know they are there. They are very caring and professional and the visit app allows me to see what activities they have done each day, so I can include these in conversations with my aunt. They have also made suggestions on how to make things easier for her, such as having a whiteboard listing who is visiting when and what they’ve planned to do. I have no reservations about recommending Home Instead, their visits ensure my aunt is able to continue living in her own home.
On the whole, the entire service was lovely. The caregivers were kind and helpful and genuinely wanted the best for Nan. I particularly appreciated getting calls from Home Instead when Nan had been upset about something or in pain. I was then able to help her wort it out quicker. I love that the caregivers would do anything she asked of them - it made her life (and ours) much easier. Thank you ever so much.
Helped with washing. Took me to the town for fast food. Played cards. Keep me company.
Very professional service was given and we were generally satisfied with the level of care given over a four year period.
I need home help only first thing in the morning as I am able to take reasonable care of myself for the rest of the day after a fall my family said they would feel better if I had someone to help in the early morning. The girls I have had have been kind, helpful and friendly and are willing to do anything I ask. I would happily recommend them to anyone.
I am satisfied with the wat I am treated by my carers. They have covered all my needs.
Home Instead (East Northants) are the best carers my mother has had over the years. Very professional but kind, caring and helpful in every way. She was never let down by the company and a credit to the training given to all the carers.
Although we only used Home Instead for a short period, we found them to be extremely professional and caring. From the first phone call, they discussed and helped provide excellent overnight care. The carers were well matched for my mother and she was comfortable in their presence. I would definitely use again should the need arise.
Excellent care delivered at short notice. All staff very professional and very flexible. Excellent service all round.
I found the care excellent. The company never let me down in three years. The carers were most considerate, kind and always jolly and bright, which my husband up no end.
My mother is 93 and has been a client since 2017. We have been happy with her care - indeed I sent in a card praising the level of her care. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with the procedure when care is no longer possible. My mother went into hospital unexpectedly after a fall. I contacted the office the next day and they suspended care. After two months in hospital, she deteriorated badly and the consultant recommended a nursing home. During this time I kept the office informed of Mum’s demise; we thought that she would be coming home despite needing 2 carers to get her in and out of bed. On ringing the office to terminate the contract, I was told that under the terms agreed in 2017 my Mum was to pay for 2 weeks care, which she obviously didn’t receive. At such a stressful time, this feels so unfair. How can she give 2 weeks' notice when she doesn’t even comprehend what has happened to her? Perhaps the contract needs amending?
A marvellous team of people supported us through a difficult time. They were kind, dedicated and professional. Thank you to them all.
Very happy with the care provided and mum feels she has made some new friends. She likes the fact that it is usually the same carer which gives her increased confidence. I also receive regular phone calls to check I am happy with the service.
The caregivers have been absolutely lovely with Dad. They treat him with respect and will chat to him while here. He is very happy with them and as am I. There have been a few occasions when Dad has been in difficulty when the carer arrives, usually due to management of his catheter. The carers have always sorted him out and often call me or text me to update. I also really appreciate the online log - very useful.
My elderly mother receives Home Instead care, via four visits a day and two longer visits per week. It has transformed her confidence, happiness and my reassurance. The caregivers are kind, patient, proactive and treat her with dignity and warmth. The management/crisis out of hours support is diligent, proactive and instils confidence in me that Mum will be ok. We are both hugely thankful to Home Instead.
First-class care provided by Home Instead. Very caring and attentive staff and very well organised.
A very difficult time during coronavirus and I was working as a key worker. Home Instead managed to send the same three carers to ensure midday meal and cleaning was done. Mum is very anxious about letting people in but was put to rest owing to high professionalism. Only stopped because as their daughter, I took a career break to look after them. We now know what to ask for in the way of help when we next engage them.
A very happy experience.
