View Full Details of Q Care Ltd (Cardiff Branch)Absolutely appalling, unprofessional and incompetent management. Having challenged the timings of the visits to my mother-in-law, I was misled by and ignored by management for my requests for a meeting. Q Care failed to adhere to its own policies and procedures. It seems that when challenged management shows their real incompetence and unprofessionalism. Management did not acknowledge my last email, but 24 hours later they withdrew care support to my 86-year-old mother-in-law, who has dementia, apparently, this was a "management decision" It is now 22:15 hours and I have just spent the last 7 hours trying to arrange care for my mother-in-law. This is all down to the uncaring, unprofessional and incompetent management, who choose to suppress concerns rather than discuss them in a transparent and professional manner. I wish to emphasise that the issues were not about the actual carers who attended my mother-in-law's home, they were exceptional and professional at all times.
My mother and I were initially a little worried about how my father would react to having carers coming into the house to look after him, as he became highly anxious after his stroke. However, we didn't need to worry, as the carers have all been very kind and treated my dad well. He is now very relaxed with all the carers and even looks forward to seeing them. I cannot recommend the carers enough. A fantastic and professional team.
I have had a very good experience with Q Care this year. In my initial review before being taken on by Q Care I outlined my requirements. I asked that I have younger carers as I am quite young myself. I also asked that I have the same people coming to me each week so that I can get to know them and have consistency of care. The staff in the office have always been very approachable and have always done everything they can to meet my needs. When I phone, the staff are always very polite and courteous. In regards to the carers, they have all been very friendly and approachable, I have always felt comfortable to ask for what I need. They have all been very helpful and have always been very positive and open minded to my disability. My experience has been very positive with Q Care, this is very much appreciated and makes such a difference to my quality of life.
I have used the services of Q Care on many occasions over the last year or so. While I took my father to hospital appointments Q Care carers came in to look after my mother who has Dementia. The carers were very professional, but also so kind and patient. My mother really enjoyed spending time with the girls and I was reassured that my mother was in safe hands. I cannot recommend the company highly enough.
I have been with Q Care quite a while now and I'm happy with all the carers.
We have used Q Care for the past few months and are very happy with the care received. The team have been brilliant, caring, understanding and sympathetic. Nothing is too much trouble. They are punctual on each visit.
Dad has been receiving care from Q Care for the last four months and has been happy with the carers. He has gained trust with some of the carers and sings their praises. They are friendly and provide good service and ensure his needs are met.
The Q Care staff have been very friendly and care for my mother very well. All the staff who come to the house provide a wonderful service and take care of my mother extremely well. They are always happy and cheerful when they come.
I have been very impressed with the care I received. All carers I have met have been exceptional. They have taken care of my needs very well.
My mother in law has been receiving care from Q Care for approximately seven years. The care she has received has been excellent. My mother in law has mental health issues and great patience and understanding is required which the carers have always demonstrated. She receives care four times a day and they have rarely not been able to fulfil the caring needs. During these months of virus, they have gone the extra mile as my mother in law has been very difficult. As senior citizens ourselves, they have been a great support and we could not have managed without them.
My dad received care from Q Care during the last month of his life. He couldn't speak highly enough of the care he received. He enjoyed the 'chats' he had with the carers and felt comfortable with them in his own home. As a family, we were so grateful for the kind and caring nature you showed towards our dad (husband). Thank you.
Help is provided each morning to aid showering and dressing each morning. This is done very efficiently by regular staff, (Q Care) who are familiar with my needs and routine.
I have been using Q Care for about six years. All the care staff we have now are very caring and kind and will go out of their way to help me. We could do with more of the staff learning to do the catheter bag and statlock, otherwise, all going well.
Very good care and always on time.
