Home Instead has provided outstanding care for my mum. From the initial hourly visits, my mum then needed to have live-in carers. My mum has been looked after with so much care and support. Every member of the team truly cares. If you are looking for carers I can't fault Home Instead Swindon & Vale of White Horse.

It can be very satisfying when something you do turns out right. That is what happened when we first contacted Home Instead. From the very start, we were impressed by the staff and when the care service provider visited us we knew that we were making the right choice. My husband who is my carer needs to have a break so every Tuesday a care pro visits to provide companionship when he is out. The two carers who come are excellent company and are very helpful. We consider Home Instead to be top of the class. It is also nice to know we got it right.

We can't fault the support we had from the whole Home Instead team, the individual carers provided lots of friendship, companionship and care for my Mum over nearly 2 years. The girls provided care daily 3 times a day, helping her with her personal care, providing her meals, management of her medications and most importantly being her friendship which Mum enjoyed. Our mum who has dementia loved to stay in her own home which the team from Home Instead helped as long as it was possible until her health deteriorated and after a hospital stay we had to move her into a care home. Whatever the future holds we will always remember the support and care the team provided to our Mum. Thanks.

I would like to say a big thank you to the team that arranged the tea dance at a the memorial hall on Saturday 15th June. I brought my mother along to the event and she thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon especially the songs that she loved singing to, and of course the tea and cake! Thank you, it was a really enjoyable afternoon, the staff and volunteers worked really hard and created a lovely friendly and fun afternoon.

All the care pros are kind, friendly, thorough and very patient with my parents. Communication with the office is quick and easy. All the staff go the extra mile to help us. It has been a big relief to find such great help, as we live a couple of hours away, a huge weight off my mind.

Home Instead have been providing care, companionship, and support to my mum for the past 8 months. I really don’t know where I’d be without them. I was suffering carer burnout and now once a month I have a whole weekend to myself in the knowledge Mum is being well looked after and having company. This is in addition to them providing care on a daily basis. Mum always has the same regular darers. They have been a lifeline to us both and are absolutely amazing! I have nothing but praise for them all and would totally recommend them. An hour is an hour and in that time they follow a care plan, designed so Mum's needs and wishes are met. Thank you to all of Mum's Care Pros and the team that organise a fabulous bespoke service.

I have recent experience of Home Instead (Swindon & Vale of White Horse) caring for my wife between January and March. Every member of the team showed excellent care and compassion, not just to my wife but to the whole family. Highly recommended.

Home Instead have been supporting my Husband for almost four years and in doing so assist me to do the same. This month it has been necessary to arrange for further hours of care for my Husband due to my falling energy levels. The Home Instead team have sorted this out with care and thoughtfulness and the new schedule started this week. It is very reassuring to have that support there. We thank all of them the part they each play.

We have always experienced the best level of care for Mum from Home Instead. Her small group of carers are extremely professional and competent, they treat her with dignity and respect. Having had a very stressful past year with Coronavirus and lockdowns, we have nothing but praise for the way Home Instead and their wonderful carers have continued to look after mum so diligently and compassionately. They have never let us down.

Mum has been receiving excellent support from Home Instead caregivers for about 18 months: companionship, help in the house and taking to medical appointments. The caregivers have been well chosen by Home Instead to suit Mum's circumstances. Throughout the COVID pandemic, there has been regular information from the office, outlining the thorough precautions in place. I am confident that Mum is safe and happy, which has been especially important this year as I live at a distance and visiting has been limited.

Home Instead has cared for my mother for many years. Her needs increased this year, and within their professional, and understanding way, the extra support was quickly adhered to. Carers have built up a strong rapport with my mother, are punctual, and caring towards individual needs. When contacting Home Instead's office by phone, again they are very accommodating, and helpful, and reply swiftly.

A little confusing at the beginning, but since then the care provided has been very good. I am particularly pleased with the carers that Home Instead allocated for the care of my father, and they have become very important to him.

We used Home Instead from June -December 2020. We needed a caregiver to give me a break from looking after my dad full time. They came in for a few hours each week so I was able to get out of the house and do some shopping. During the warm weather, our caregiver would take dad outside for a walk around the garden, sit in the sun and have an ice-cream, something my dad loved to do and make him lunch. They would look through books and photographs with him and talk to him. They also used to wash up for do some housework which was a big help too, changing sheets and cleaning the bathroom and kitchen.

Because of my wife's ill health, we have been fortunate to have had the help of Home Instead Senior Care (Swindon & Vale of White Horse). The office staff have always done their very best to meet our needs, and this has been matched by the reliability and professionalism of the front line carers who visit us. Central to the service they provide is "care', and it is reflected in their empathy and their understanding of our care needs. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

They endeavour to make sure that they have a small group of regular carers who get to know their needs, interests and characters very well. My father was matched with someone who got on great with him. Home Instead took the time and trouble to find someone who would work well with my Dad. They always told me if there were any changes and we agreed together the best approach i.e. cancel the time or to move the support to another carer.

My mother-in-law has dementia and since my father-in-law died last year we have employed a Home Instead companion. The carer is compassionate and understanding of my mother-in-law's needs. I have been able to return to work as I know she is in safe hands.

I have used Home Instead Senior Care Swindon for 2 years. My caregivers have built up a good relationship with me due to having continuity and I have a good rapport with both of them. Timekeeping Is good, both are professional and show me respect and dignity. I email the Care Manager who is our point of contact, If I need to cancel or add visits, she is always prompt with her replies. I would have no hesitation In recommending Homeinstead and my partner has already done so at the local carers cuppa.
