View Full Details of Blue Ribbon Live In CareMy Mum has very little sight ad very poor kidney function, and no longer able to live on her own and went into a Nursing Home, but never settled there. I was told about Blue Ribbon and contacted them, they very quickly organised a live in carer for my Mum, who is know back in her own bungalow thanks to the care she receives from the live in carers, their dedication, compassion and understanding is excellent, as is their management, providing the correct carer for my Mums many needs and recommend this Company.
The carer has been caring for my father and mother in law for the last year. She is professional, hardworking and caring. The whole family appreciate what a great job she does. From the moment the carer arrived she has worked hard at making sure they are comfortable and well cared for. Thank you to the carer.
My neighbours are elderly and in poor health, but we have been good friends for over 5 years. Whenever I've called to chat with my friend the carer has always been very friendly and approachable but very professional. I can honestly say that since getting a carer I have seen myself the improvement in my friends, it's difficult to put into words the changes in them but there's a definite improvement, the carer is incredibly thoughtful too, for instance I live on my own and the carer even made me a Christmas dinner too. With everything I've seen and witnessed I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Blue Ribbon Live In Care to look after you or your loved ones. # SIMPLY THE BEST
Blue Ribbon has provided 24 hour care since December 2023 for my father in-law with dementia and supported my mother in law after a 3 month hospital stay. As a family we can't explain how much this service has meant to us. The live in carer has gone above and beyond in the care and support she provides. We would highly recommend this service.
We have used this Care Company for a few months now and we are so extremely outstanded by the care that our Grandmother receives, especially as she can be alittle demanding nothing is ever to much for them! We have highly recommend this company as we cannot fault the team and the care! If you are looking for a caring team for a family member please keep this team in mind!
My Aunt has had live in care for the past 3 years with the same person. I can honestly say that throughout that time we have been delighted at the quality and standard of care being provided. As a family we have built a lasting friendship and importantly a trust with my Aunt's carer. She goes above and beyond in all aspects of her work. Indered, she almost feels like 'one of the family'.
When I was admitted to hospital last December, our family were very concerned about my husband, who has dementia, and found care for him with Blue Ribbon Live In Care, then when I came home in February we were both looked after. Without the carer in place, my husband would have had to go into a home, his care has been excellent and he has been very happy with the carer. When I came home from hospital in February, I was very weak and frail but thankfully, have improved though still not very mobile, we are very thankful for the excellent care we have to enable us to remain at home. For anyone else looking for live-in care, I would certainly recommend this company.
My mother received live in support from Blue Ribbon at very short notice. The carer was professional and friendly and the family thought mum was in excellent hands letting us get on with our lives and when we visit we can spend quality time with her. I would highly recommend them.
We found Blue Ribbon Live In Care after a poor experience with another provider. The difference is like chalk and cheese. From the moment of first contact, through all the 'back room' work to our actual carer, our experience has been brilliant. It's given us so much confidence that Mum is being loved and well looked after. Everyone comes to Mum with care and compassion, and we know she feels so comfortable as a result.
My Mum, who has dementia, has full-time live-in care. Her carer is really kind, patient and attentive - there's a real bond of friendship between them. I think we're blessed to have been provided with such an excellent carer for Mum.
Blue Ribbon Live In Care provided me with an excellent carer to look after my dear friend, here in North Wales, who had advanced Parkinson's disease. She was the kindest person I have ever met, she showed true professionalism at all times and went above and beyond her duties, she cared for this lovely lady up until she passed away with total dignity. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants the compassion and care expected for their loved ones.
The carers provided by Blue Ribbon are first class. Really attentive and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. They fit into the home and family situations really well. Have required emergency night carers and these have been supplied at really short notice. Definitely recommend.
Your company has provided care for our 94-year-old friend of 25 years since Spring 2023. The resident carer is wonderful and has done the job above and beyond. She hardly gets any time off as she is supposed to, as our friend has become very clingy and as she is blind, she doesn't like to be alone. The carer shows our friend nothing but loving compassion and great patience at all times. Yesterday our friend slid out of bed, and as she seemed to be in pain, the carer phoned an ambulance at 1.30 a.m. and made them both comfy on the floor. We arrived at 9 a.m and the the ambulance came at 9.30 a.m. The carer also went to the hospital and remained with her in the ambulance till 1 p.m We arrived and insisted the carer had some food and a drink. We were told our friend would be waiting in the ambulance for an indefinite time so we insisted the carer went home for some sleep and the ambulance people agreed. We will all return later today once our friend has been admitted and hopefully has a bed in a ward.
Support was provided to my wife and I following my unexpected hospital stay. Our carer was extremely sensitive to our needs as, in addition to my post-hospital needs, my wife required 24-hour care due to her long-standing Secondary Progressive MS. We were privileged to have someone who understood the special need for 24-hour care and undertook that responsibility with compassion. After six weeks we considered our carer to be the equivalent of a second daughter. We were privileged to meet our carer and to benefit from the personal and professional approach she brought to her work.
Dad’s live-in carer came to him at the beginning of May 2023. This was a compromise, as he refused to go into a care home, but the care he received was so good that we would wholeheartedly recommend this way of caring for an elderly relative. The carer was absolutely professional, but at the same time, warm and friendly, and became like a member of the family. We regret to say that Dad did not make this easy, as he was very resistant to many aspects of care and made life very difficult for his carer, who showed great patience and resilience, despite some very challenging behaviour from Dad. Her positive attitude, despite all that was thrown at her, was beyond expectations and the quality of the care she provided was exemplary. The arrangement sadly ended when Dad became too poorly to be cared for at home and was taken into hospital. The way in which the agency dealt with this situation was extremely helpful at a difficult time, and the carer left the house in excellent order.
My mother required live-in care for the last 18 months of her life, with the last few months turning to end-of-life and palliative care. The carers provided by Blue Ribbon Live In Care were of an exceptional standard, showing patience, kindness, fun and laughs and great gentle care, especially during the last few months. Our main live-in carer was excellent. She spent time getting to know Mum's likes and dislikes and spent hours chatting to her and making her laugh. Her care and attention to detail were second to none. All the other carers, who either covered breaks, or came to assist with care, or covered a night duty were of an equally high standard. We felt confident that Mum was in safe and caring hands at all times. The management always responded to emails and requests for advice, as Mum deteriorated, and regularly checked in on Mum to see how she was. I would highly recommend Blue Ribbon.
I have been with Blue Ribbon since December 2022. I am happy with the care I receive from the company and the staff. They check on me to make sure I am satisfied with the care. They have been attentive to my needs.
Very impressed with the support given by the manager for my friend that required live-in care. She is always at the end of the phone when needed and will always answer any questions. Would highly recommend! Nothing is too much trouble for the manager and her team!
I have found the service to be competent and reliable. Because my parents live in an isolated place away from relatives (NWales), there have been a few issues regarding travel and handovers. But Blue Ribbon Live In Care has managed to sort out issues, and things have generally worked out. Carers have been professional, caring and competent.
Blue Ribbon is an excellent, friendly care company, very well managed by the management. We have received high calibre live-in staff, who are experienced and are given regular updated training and Covid inoculations. The managers care for their clients and their families and very importantly, for their staff! They make every effort to match carers to the clients. The service they give is excellent value for money. They insist live-in staff have regular, very necessary time off for their health and well-being. My old father has had continuity from the same live-in carer for nearly two years, who goes that extra mile to care for Dad, viewing him compassionately as a very old man with needs and he also brings understanding to his role, gained from a wide experience in the care sector. He ably delivers care for Dad's now complex physical needs and is a cheerful, patient companion. He makes visitors feel welcome, be they nurses, family, friends or domiciliary carers. He likes people and people like him.
