View Full Details of DICE Healthcare LtdOverall, the carers are very good with our son and treat him with respect and dignity. There are times, more so in the morning when the care seems rushed as they have to get to the next client. Not good at telling us when creams, toothpaste etc are empty. Sometimes, shower not switched off at the wall, sink not emptied and flannels squeezed. This is basic stuff. Other family members have medical issues and don't feel that this is allowed for/factored in. Whilst son is client, need to be aware of wider family situation as have had circumstances where the family member has been collapsed on floor and carers have had to go to next client. Would help if in such circumstances (rare) they could stick around to provide extra support for our son e g. given him his breakfast. Don't feel that management take well to feedback that is not positive. Come across as very defensive and don't like it. Need to accept that occasionally stuff does go wrong and we have right/duty to tell them.
DICE Healthcare Ltd provide care to a very high standard. Carers do have a limited time for care and often as a client, you feel that you are being rushed, plus you feel you are a job to be done. The team as carers we have treated us as a person not just a number. They make you feel valued and cared for.
Carer - an asset to DICE. Very polite, kind, Goes beyond her job to leave everything tidy. Fits in well with carers, family and Mum.
DICE Healthcare were used as we needed care at specific times. They completely bypassed the agreed times and arrived much later on several occasions, causing my mum distress. When a carer turned up two hours late, she said the office knew about it as she specifically could not work the pre-agreed breakfast time. Neither my brother nor I were informed that the times that were agreed with DICE when we hired them could not be stuck to. DICE arranged getting Mum’s medication picked up from the chemist (an extra half hour charge), again without informing myself or my brother (the bill payers). Mum changed it back to the chemist delivering it as soon as possible when I explained this to her. I saw the small print of the contract they had made Mum sign of '£2.50 per every five minutes cost for agreed overtime'. Called the office about this and was spoken to very rudely by one of the guys. I gave notice to terminate the contract immediately. DICE - please keep your reply professional and non-inflammatory.
The carers are always smart and presentable, they take my grandma shopping and it is the highlight of her week. Grandma enjoys going out and being part of the community. She always looks smart and the house is always kept tidy. I would recommend the carers to anyone looking for peace of mind for a loved one.
Dice carers must be the best there is. They are very polite and know how to do their job. They will do anything you ask them. I cannot praise them enough.
I have been very satisfied with my wife's care. The staff are all helpful, kind and loving. My wife usually responds well to the carers, and I feel reassured that she is in safe hands.
These are my son's points; I like the carers, they treat me like an adult and with respect. Respect and dignity are given when giving care. He will say what he wants and I let the carers know when I am not happy. Carers ask me if everything is alright at all times.
Setting up the service was simple. The carers were trained well and always prepared to help with domestic tasks (making the bed, hanging out the washing, cat litter tray etc.) without complaint and usually with enthusiasm. Medication was correctly given and concern was expressed over my health. I was pleased with the care I received.
I always find the carers very friendly, caring and professional in their job. They are always there for me with any help I need or support. Keep up the good work.
Absolute terrible company. Team leaders are very rude and sarcastic. My father had care tablets missed many times and half left in blister packs on many occasions, leaving the door unlocked and replacing the key in the safe still unlocked. Catheter bag latches not opened so can drain into the night bag causing almost exploding bags. When my father had COVID company refused to go deal with him leaving him with no care. Would not recommend these to anybody. Absolute disgrace on all levels.
The service provided is first-rate. Kind, reliable, skilful and very comfortable.
DICE are an excellent care company. My mum has been treated with the utmost respect and care for nearly three years following her stroke. The staff are absolutely fantastic in dealing with her very complex needs, they also check that my elderly dad is coping with things. The office staff are supportive of me as her carer. I know I can ring them for advice. I cannot praise the company enough and would recommend them without any doubt.
We have found DICE Healthcare reliable, helpful and professional. Management is happy to be contacted and to adapt arrangements to the client's changing needs. Carers are all pleasant, calm and reassuring and do a thorough, careful job, noting every change in the client's condition and checking equipment before and after use. We are more than happy with our experience with DICE Healthcare.
Very satisfied with the care I am receiving.
Nice staff and carers are great and so lovely with my mum. Always on time and all jobs done. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my mum is looked after.
The time spent with me this week has been all that was required with very good and pleasant carers. Very pleasant and helpful for all that I needed. I would like to say that if I did need more in the future I would contact them.
The carers I have are very good and treat you with respect, I have a bath every day (because I am tall) they go and help my wife with doing my breakfast and if any washing needs hanging up the do it, which helps both of us. We have a very close relationship with all those that come.
Straight after an eye operation, it was clear that my mother needed help to administer a complicated regime of eye drops. My sister and I were very fortunate in finding Dice Healthcare. I went to meet members of the team and got a warm reception where I was able to discuss my mum's needs. Importantly Dice carers are able to administer eye drops rather than just supervise. It seems staff are trained in some other nursing-type procedures too. We were able to quickly set up a package of care with them. They helped us through a very difficult time and were patient in helping my mum get used to the frequent calls. Since then Dice have been extremely helpful in allowing us to establish an ongoing package of care as per my mum's needs with some need for privacy and independence involved. As someone with a background in healthcare myself, I can confidently say I have found all the staff professional and caring and find my mum well looked after when I visit. I also am kept informed when I need to be.
A new team/company very professional, pleasant and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and goes above and beyond what they are required to do. It was a good move finding this company. Always turn up on time. We also have the same cares which is good so they get to know the routine and me as a person, as I do them.
