View Full Details of Home Instead (Salford)My dad has recently started using Home Instead and he and the family are so pleased with the service and the care providers. From making initial enquiries to care providers being put in place, every step of the process was delivered in such a friendly yet professional way. The co-ordinator put a great deal of time and effort into getting to know my dad, his interests and his background to provide well-matched car providers. From an admin perspective, the onboarding and billing process was clearly communicated. My dad is already getting so much out of his twice weekly visits and it gives me and my brother so much peace of mind. You can't put a price on that!
I was having major surgery and needed someone reliable to care of my mum and dad whilst I was in hospital and for the recovery period. I am my parents main carer and as such I needed to be sure that they were in good hands. I had seen home instead advertised on TV. I called in to see them and I was not disappointed with the process from the start. Care has been phenomenal and the carers are really nice. The piece of mind knowing my parents are safe, happy and well taken care of has aided my recovery. Thank you to all involved. As this was short term care only I would have no hesitation of using them again should the need arise. I would also recommend them to my friends too.
The overall experience is extremely good. Ive been very much made at home - part of a good team + always with dignity. The staff are always ready to help. I've found it to be just what I needed + I definitely think it's value for money.
We have been using Home Instead for over a year now. The ladies who visit Mum show exceptional kindness, patience, and professionalism. They not only provided excellent care but also formed a genuine bond with Mum, making her feel valued, comfortable, and safe. Knowing Mum was in such capable and caring hands gave us peace of mind whilst we were away. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough.
Care professionals are attentive, friendly, caring, efficient and cheerful. We enjoy cooking together! Staff in the office deal promptly with any problems and keep us well informed. Good communication with my daughter by text and email and with my by phone.
Our journey started with Home Instead because of the poor service my parents had experienced from other providers. From the first contact, I had the impression of professional, efficient staff with a warm, caring attitude. They very quickly picked up on my parents' needs and how to support our family in enabling Mum and Dad to stay in their own home. We had provided care as a family for nearly 10 years but Mum and Dad's needs were now at a level where we needed that extra support. All the staff from office to care providers simply go above and beyond every day. It's very clear this is not just a job for them, they truly care about the people they are involved with. The staff quickly blended into the family unit and we became a very strong team. There was support from them for all of us, not just Mum and Dad. I honestly cannot praise everyone enough for the many things they do. They are very special people making difficult situations workable. We were so lucky to find them.
The service is used to prevent me from falling while in the shower and being dressed. I'm limited in my movements due to arthritis. I had had a recent fall culminating in me having 4 broken ribs and a head wound. This necessitated a stay in the hospital. These issues have now been addressed.
I love that Mum has the same carers and that she is able to build up a relationship with them. The relationship Mum has with them has helped her feel comfortable about asking for help or agreeing to help which without this friendship, she would not accept. Both myself and brother are able to have a proper visit with Mum which wouldn't be possible without Home Instead doing the day-to-day stuff which would have fallen to us. Since Home Instead started, Mum's health and mental health have improved due to the extra interaction.
The service is excellent. The carers are pleasant, respectful and always caring. I have no complaints at all about the service they offer. In emergencies, the office staff do their very best to help and are always a pleasure to deal with.
Home Instead have been caring for my parents for over four years. I cannot praise all the team highly enough. They go above and beyond anything that is expected. I would love to name individuals, but that would include every single member of staff in the office, as well as the wonderful ladies who do the day-to-day care. When we have needed emergency visits, they have never let us down. They treat my parents with respect, maintaining their dignity with loving care. I can not adequately describe our gratitude for the care Home Instead provides. Thank you.
Can highly recommend Home Instead, total peace of mind and they do a wonderful job. The carers are lovely and friendly and as a company, they are very thorough and do regular reviews and checks to ensure that everyone is happy and all going to plan.
My mum has been using Home Instead (Salford) since the start of the year and they have been fantastic. She loves the ladies that come to see her, and they have become real friends; the service from the office is fantastic and they are always happy to accommodate changes as needed. We are very grateful to Home Instead and couldn't recommend them highly enough - thank you!
Home Instead has been fabulous in setting up a care package for my mum. We thought the process was going to be quite daunting but a particular member of staff and the team made it really easy. The carers who look after my mum are brilliant and my mum is really happy with them from day one. It has really helped my mum and taken a lot of pressure off the family.
We can’t thank Home Instead (Salford) enough for taking care of our 96-year-old grandmother during the difficult lockdown period and subsequently two years following. Her direct care giver was exceptional and a real lifesaver. Their friendship and companionship is held in very high regard from both my grandmother and the whole family.
My mum and myself have been using the Home Instead (Salford) ladies for the last month to come and shower Mum each morning. We are both very impressed at their care, professionalism and being totally wonderful. Always on time, reliable which puts your mind at rest that Mum is being properly looked after. We would recommend their services 100%.
Continues to meet all our expectations of care support and value for money. Carers are extremely skilled and their attention to detail is second to none. The selection process of carers and their ongoing training and development equips them to deal with all my husband's needs and the willingness to interact with the NHS occupational therapists and physiotherapists had forged an equal relationship based on expertise and professionalism. The recent increase in hourly rates, the third over two years, has made us consider other options.
The care professionals and management team have and continued to support my parents and brother in a truly empathetic, caring and professional way. As I live a long way from the family home it is reassuring to know that my family is being looked after so well. The team provides personal and companionship care with timely communications. Recently my mother became very frail but was determined to stay in her own home and Home Instead enabled that to happen. An amazing carer was with her when she ‘went to sleep’ and held her hand. I will be forever grateful to her and Home Instead for helping our family in a true hour of need.
The service provided by Home Instead has been excellent throughout. The care and professionalism shown by the carers through to the office staff have been exemplary. Any difficult issues are communicated and dealt with sensitively and with compassion. As I don't live close by, knowing my father is well cared for by genuinely kind and understanding carers is so comforting. I can't praise the team enough.
The caregivers at Home Instead have been looking after our sister for the last seven months. We got in touch with them when it was clear that she required help with daily living. Her dementia had increased to a point where she was no longer able to perform many of the tasks needed to remain on her own, including meal preparation and taking medication, but she wasn’t yet ready to move into a care situation. Since the visits started, carers have turned up, as agreed, twice a day, faithfully, and on time. All of them have been cheerful and encouraging of her, providing much-needed company as well as preparing meals, tidying up and cleaning the kitchen. As her dementia has worsened, the care team performed the vital function of reassuring her, chatting with her, and providing social engagement, something that has really brightened her days. We are most grateful to the caregivers; they have meant much to all of us, and we have appreciated their professionalism.
You have very reliable, helpful and friendly teams that service the support needs of my mother. All team members deliver what Mum needs. Very flexible when Mum goes on holiday or with doctors appointments.
