View Full Details of Emmaculate Care Services - SelbyThis is my second review, and the service has been maintained at a very high level over the past year. The staff are excellent, and I have found management to be attentive and flexible. Very happy to continue.
Emmaculate Care Services always treat me with respect and dignity. I feel at the centre and only I matter at the time. I have rheumatic arthritis and it is unbelievable the skill and confidence they have when assisting me. You feel and you know that you are in safe and experienced hands when you are in their care. My husband has dementia and is also cared for with the same devotion and respect by Emmaculate Care Services. We have both made an excellent choice with Emmaculate Care Services. Well done Emmaculate Care Services.
The carer has always been very friendly, polite and professional on every visit. She always greets me with a smile. She is patient as I am particularly slow on a morning. She takes care when washing me and is considerate when washing my hair and sure to use the visors to shield my eyes. She always respects my property.
Emmaculate Care Services provided care for my mother for over a year, initially with assistance twice a day, but then from 2020 (Nov) with a "live-in" carer. Always professional, treated my mother with dignity and respect at all times. Also, kept myself and my sister fully informed at all times about the care given and when changes were needed discussed these with us.
Unfortunately, the care provided was shocking. My uncle is very vulnerable and was left for days with no food. Carers only stayed half or even less time than they should at the visits. Poor housekeeping. The kitchen was never cleaned. So grease and even mold over everything. I would not recommend this company to look after anyone and they clearly need to train the carers on basic care needs. As a company, they have a duty of care to their clients. I can't understand why they didn't do spot checks or regular support visits, quality assurances to check how things were going.
Easy to deal with. Clear explanation of care offered. Always know who is visiting and generally the same carer looks after me for the majority of the time. Overall they come as planned and are on time. Very friendly, courteous, polite and efficient. They care for me and talk to me as well as helping me with my daily living activities as agreed in my care plan.
The biggest problem with this company is the large turnover of staff they seem to have. This particularly affects us at weekends, when we regularly get people who have not been to visit my wife for months. They are very unfamiliar with my wife's needs and how to handle her. This gets her upset and distressed. For us, it is very important for my wife to have familiar faces visit her, with whom she is comfortable. We do not have any problems from Monday to Thursday.
Emmaculate Carers are patient and treat my mother with dignity. Sometimes timekeeping is a problem and communication needs to improve. They are pleasant and well mannered and ensure that my mum's needs are met.
They provide very good care. They are very friendly and helpful.
Occasionally I have found that when there is a turn around of staff, I question as to whether or not a proper handover has been given because I have had to tell the new staff Mum's protocol.
The care I have received has been good and if I have had any issues, they have been dealt with efficiently.
The care I receive is good and the carers treat me with dignity. I find that the carers have different personalities, I prefer some to others.
This is the best care service possible. All the staff are always smiling and no task is too much trouble. We don't know how we would manage without their care and we look forward to them coming and always on time.
I am very satisfied with everything Emmaculate Care Services - Selby care do for me.
My wife and I are very satisfied with my fathers care. The carers are more like friends than carers. They are like brothers that he never had.
Good follow up, overall care good and main carer excellent although staff do vary in competence and attitude.
All the carers that attend three times a day are all cheerful, polite and hard working. Nothing is too much trouble if they have been delayed the manager always rings to let us know. They prepare good meals and cups of tea. 1st class service.
Emmaculate Care Services has provided Care for my Mum for the last year. This has included support with washing, dressing etc, meal preparation, medication administration etc. They have also provided Carers to accompany Mum on social activities, shopping trips etc to support her in continuing to engage in activities outside the home. The Carers are kind and compassionate and have always treated Mum with respect. They have a good understanding of Dementia and were able to manage Mum's more challenging behaviour with patience and good humour. I was always able to contact someone when necessary and found that the Carers ensured that I was kept well informed of anything that was needed.
