View Full Details of Audley Care St George's PlaceAudley Care continues to provide outstanding care for my father. The team of carers provide excellent care that is considerate, respectful and of the highest standard. The care management team are always on hand and is quick to inform us of any concerns that may have been raised regarding my father’s health or well-being. As a family, working with Audley Care feels like real teamwork; extremely supportive and professional. The fact that my father feels so safe and well-cared for and is so content is largely due to the work of the whole team.
The care my brother has received has been exemplary throughout his time at Audley. He now requires help in dressing and preparing food and has visits from carers three times a day. He also is taken out shopping to continue to maintain a level of independence, and he has great praise for the carer who takes him. The ‘service’ has been very responsive to his needs and my requests for information and support. An example of this was the record keeping in regard to concerns about my brother's weight loss and what meals he was eating. The manager of the service has regularly attended medical review meetings on-site. Help has also been given in organising the servicing and repair of boilers and washing machines. I am sure my brother is in the very best place for his increasingly deteriorating mental and physical abilities. Thank you for the support and listening ear provided to me as well.
The whole experience of living here is very good. The management are very quick to react if there is a problem. My wife has a very large electric wheelchair which is really not suitable for the size of the lift where one has to turn at right angles to get out. However, we have just about managed to remove one or two parts temporarily until a possible alternative can be found. The care staff have adapted very quickly to our particular needs. Many thanks to the care management for changing certain times of care from time to time in order. that we can enjoy more of the social activities.
Audley Care have been looking after my ninety-three-year-old mother for over five years. The consistency of the team and the genuine care and I really do mean personal care, is outstanding. The team have become an extension of our family, as an only child with one parent who has age-related macular degeneration and some degree of Alzheimer's, Audley give my Mum and me confidence that she is safe and happy. The team at Audley encourage her to join in with planned activities in the clubhouse and enable me to visit to enjoy company rather than have to firefight problems which had been the continual case at home. I can give nothing but thanks to Audley for the confidence that we have in how my Mum is looked after in her own home at their lovely development.
Audley Care continues to provide an excellent service lead by a competent management team. Nothing is too much trouble, and if there are any issues, I'm always informed. They are very efficient, pleasant, and caring, and take time to resolve any problems.
I have nothing but praise for the Audley St George’s Place team led by the manager. After the last company used for my dad I was extremely picky about who was going to carry out his care. I have been blown away by how good this team are. The level of care is excellent, with all the team making my dad feel at ease. Thank you so much for what you are doing!
I have just three words with which I can describe my Audley Care ladies. They are efficient, pleasant, and very caring, not just occasionally, but on a daily basis. I look forward each day to their visits and can't thank enough the person who recommended Audley Care. With such long and unsociable hours, I feel their rewards financially are pitiful compared to the dedication given to their profession.
Audley Care Edgbaston is quite simply top of the care profession Premier League. The Care Manager actually came out to me for the first 10 days trial to deliver my care needs herself before letting her staff anywhere near me. How great is that? Unheard of with other so-called 'care' providers. Although the care profession by its nature tends to have a higher turnover of staff, without exception I've got on with all the carers and staff in the 18 months since Audley has been providing my care needs. Because of my physical limitations, I've been managing care packages for over 35 years and none of the other care providers has come close to the considerate, flexible, and genuinely 'caring' approach of Audley. I can't thank them enough.
My father became frail and unwell and Audley Care did a fantastic job looking after him. They were very professional in all aspects of care. They listened to his needs and helped him in many ways. He could at times be quite stubborn and they were brilliant the way they handled him. They not only provided the necessary care dad required but they also became good friends with him which was very important to us as a family. They really did excel at their jobs. A particular thank you must go to his favourite carer and to the Audley Care Manager.
Audley Care have provided care for my mother for over the past 12 months. They are a wonderful team, who are caring, efficient, conscientious, helpful and flexible. Living 2 hours away from her and especially in Covid times, has given me peace of mind that her welfare and wellbeing is being looked after in extremely capable hands.
Audley Care provided home support for my elderly Dad for a six month period preceding his recent death. I have been extremely satisfied with the service provided, from the first phone call I made my impression was of a caring, professional organisation. Both my father and I found all the staff we encountered (the care manager and all the care team) to be friendly, caring, reliable and efficient. They took the time to develop a real rapport with dad, to make sure they fully understood his likes and dislikes, in fact, nothing was too much trouble. I found them all to be trustworthy and I felt 'safe' in entrusting the care of my dear dad to the team at Audley. My queries and messages were always dealt with promptly and efficiently too. Their support and kindness during my recent bereavement has also reflected the genuine nature of the care they provide. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Audley Care team to others who find themselves needing a Care Provider in the future.
I feel before I had carers and my sister found Audley. They are amazing right from coming on time, for personal care to the carers. The work that they carry our is excellent.
My wife (passed 26/01/20) and I came here three and a half years ago and immediately felt 'at home'. It was a wonderful move and we always appreciated the care and support which we have received and which I, now a widower, continue to receive.
Absolutely excellent - - it's rather like having a friend in the house but with the place looking and smelling like new once they've left! It is a great comfort and delight to have this service. Many thanks.
My father needed home care at night with little notice. Audley were very quick to assess my dad and put in place exactly what he needed. The staff were all exemplary - friendly and professional, with a sensitivity to my dad's needs. They all seemed to want to go the extra mile to help make life easier for Dad.
Very pleased, right from the start.
I find the care provider to be excellent she is punctual, helpful in every way, willing and cheerful in undertaking anything I ask her to do and altogether an invaluable asset to my life.
I have been very satisfied with the Audley Care St George's Place I have received for the past 15 months and would certainly recommend them to anyone needing similar care. Obviously, individual carers have differing abilities but the trouble is taken to train new carers of which there have been a number recently. I also appreciate the trouble that is taken to rearrange and reschedule to fit in with any individual needs and to notify me when last minute changes are necessary through sickness etc. Accurate records of timekeeping have improved since the introduction of electronic reports and care is made not to exceed the allotted times.
The care provided by Audley Care has always been of a very high standard and well appreciated by both my mother and myself. The staff are always very caring and my mother looks forward to the visits - both from the perspective of care but always from a social/personal perspective. I feel she is treated as an individual, with respect and with care and consideration. My father (who passed away some years ago) received care at home (from another care provider) and the positive difference in the standard of care is very noticeable. The care and support provided by the Audley team is always of a high standard, professional and caring. An interest is taken in her wellbeing and how they can assist in or improving the care provided to her (with additional support or visits). It really does make a difference to her being able to remain at home. Thank you to everyone at the Audley team in Edgbaston.
It would seem that the carer has developed a rapport with my father very quickly in covering the 2-hour break that the live-in carer has. I was very happy with the quality of the pre-care briefing and the speed and efficiency with which the care manager responded to my e-mails and made the process happen. We had a thorough shadowing which was also very comforting - to give the carer the best chance to get comfortable and make the relationship with my father work as well as possible.
