View Full Details of County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In CareFrom the very first visit, in November, until now I have had no problems … from having two visits per day, down to one and no weekend visits, I have been treated with kindness and nothing has been too much trouble. All the carers have been professional, kind, and helpful, I and my wife would like to say a special thank you to the 6 members of staff who cared for us. Also thank you to 2 other members of the care team in particular for all their support, and understanding, and for making a very difficult and worrying time easier to cope with. Our daughters would like to express their gratitude and thanks as they knew I was in safe hands. I will miss the carers but they have done a wonderful service to us all.
I am very happy with the level of care being given to my husband since we started with County Carers in June 2023. All the carers have been very respectful and try to reassure him, but because of Alzheimer's, he does not understand why he needs their help and can be very difficult to deal with.
We continue to be very pleased indeed with County Carers. They recruit excellent carers who are well-trained and carefully monitored for compliance with company standards and procedures. The carers who come to us are kind and friendly, and we appreciate all they do for us. From time to time, the management comes out to do spot checks, and they will always ensure a visit is covered in the event of sickness - doing the visit themselves if necessary. An excellent company to have on your side.
We use them for live in care for Mum. The carers we have are brilliant, kind, and trustworthy. They care about Mum and have helped with her dementia and greatly reduced her anxiety. They really are worth the money. The support team are great too regularly keeping in touch with both the carers and us to make sure there are no issues. Thanks very much.
We lost our Dad in October 2022 therefore Mum needed a live in carer to help with Mums Alzheimer's and mobility issues. We could not be happier with the care given by everyone, they are all so wonderful to Mum which means that we can relax and be safe in the knowledge that she is happy in her own home surrounded by amazing care.
I have been very pleased with the service provided by my carers and their general helpfulness in daily evening tasks. My carers have shown outstanding attention to detail and go above and beyond what’s expected. I don’t think I could find better care elsewhere.
Our family has nothing but praise for the outstanding care provided by the live-in carers through County Carers for our elderly parents. They have experienced a caring, competent and 100% reliable service. There is a sense of the personal touch with each carer they have had. The team has taken time to get to know Mum and Dad and understand their needs which are wide and varied including dementia and mobility issues. All the carers come with excellent references and CVs and receive frequent professional training updates. Our parents are happy, comfortable, and relaxed with their live-in carers (usually two who stay between 4-6 weeks at a time) which in turn means we as a family are too! Thank you County Carers!
County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In Care have been looking after my wife now for over a year and the carers and service they provide are excellent, first class in every respect. Not only the care but the communication is what you can only call only good old-fashioned service. Thank you, everyone.
We cannot speak highly enough of the service that is provided by the carer who visits our elderly relative. Fantastic, caring and understanding. She is always punctual and the communication is excellent.
County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In Care have been providing care for my mother since the start of this year. She has two people that come to see her and they are great. They are tremendously kind, understanding, patient and professional. I can`t fault them.
My daughters and I have been extremely pleased with the care my husband has received. All have been extremely friendly and very helpful. All have been supportive in our challenging path into my husband's dementia.
Overall, extremely pleased with the service delivered by County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In Care, both on the ground from the carers themselves, but also the back-office when needing to query things. Always polite and helpful.
We, as a family, have been very pleased with the care received by our mother and father from County Carers. They are a well-organised company, recruiting staff of a high calibre and ensuring continuity of care and a reliable service. Their staff are caring and conscientious and go 'above and beyond' to provide individualised care. They have kept our parents safe during the pandemic by following excellent infection protocols.
We chose the option of a live in carer as my mother could no longer safely live on her own after developing memory and mobility problems following a stroke. Moving into a care home and losing her home seemed unnecessary and distressing. After my initial enquiry we had a live in carer within a week and what peace of mind that has brought to our whole family! My mum is now properly cared for with a real understanding of her capabilities and limitations. Her meals are cooked for her and she is encouraged to drink and to mobilise safely as much as possible. Her main carer has offered several very useful suggestions in order to keep mum safe, including a pressure sensitive mat, an extra grab rail in the shower and re positioning furniture. We have a very good relationship as I still drop in to see mum most days and I do shopping. I feel completely confident in the competency and conscientiousness of mum's carer and I can now spend quality time with mum and then go home feeling relaxed.
County Carers have been exemplary in their care of my mother. All carers were kind, compassionate, willing and prepared to help not only my mum but also my dad during a very difficult time. The organisation and rotation of carers were well managed, which meant there were familiar faces each day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend County Carers to anyone considering care at home.
Carers are excellent and well trained in all aspects of care, caring jobs carried out because I need help doing them. At the same time help is given to increase my own skills within my new wheelchair life. Always conscious of my dignity in personal caring, gentle and strong when my need is greater. Humourous where appropriate. Well-matched to myself and the things I enjoy doing. Always leaves me my space when they sense I need it. Great cooking, meals are so nicely served and nourishing. Approach to the office is always available through the office. Matters are dealt with immediately. Have to add, my carers are so good I haven’t had a need to approach the office team. Even with all the vagaries of the pandemic, County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In Care have managed to steer a steady ship. As far as I can see, not only does County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In Care look after their clients well but they seem to look after their staff equally well, such as dates of travel have to be carefully fitted so that one leaves me, as another arrives.
My husband and his family initially needed care for his father morning and evening. Then when my husband's mother had a fall and broke both hips the care needed to be raised to twenty-four hours for his father immediately. County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In Care jumped to it and sorted this out for us in double-quick time. This level of care has continued now that my husband's mother returned from hospital earlier this year. The care has been of a very high standard consistently over the long time that County Carers Domiciliary & Live-In Care have helped. The fact that the company never let us down in all this time, even during the pandemic, is remarkable. The peace of mind this has given the whole family is wonderful.
Excellent quality of care given to my mother and well managed over a long period of isolation and lockdown. Big thanks to County Carers Domiciliary and Live-In Care for being able to sustain this with continuity of staff - a very small team of two/three carers rotating on a three-weekly cycle enables Mum’s needs to be particularly well met; it provides huge security and reassurance for Mum. Thank you County Carers for all you have done and are continuing to do. In addition, if any problems did occur, we know we can approach County Carers easily and they would be quickly and appropriately responsive to deal with any matters. We continue to have confidence in the professionalism of County Carers.
County Carers looked after my mother. All the staff that came to her house were of the highest standard and provided excellent care. My mother became very fond of them all and looked forward to their visits. We have no hesitation in recommending them.
Absolutely saved me when I needed immediate help with my father when my mother was suddenly taken ill (she being his carer). Calm and helpful care was arranged within a couple of hours. Massive appreciation for both the manager and carers.
