View Full Details of We Do Care (London) LtdAll the carers who cared for my Mum were extremely kind, caring, efficient, and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication all round was excellent.
We Do Care provides that excellent service some care providers promise but fail to deliver. I stopped looking at 'promising' websites and rang We Do Care. A home assessment was promptly arranged and I've never looked back. Care and attention have been given to every aspect of We Do Care as a provider: admin is streamlined, efficient, and communication excellent. Care managers and carers alike are generous with support and information. My husband (Client) is challenged due to the behavioral and psychological symptoms of advanced dementia. He was shielded during the pandemic, which he'd not registered and his Carers have been a lifeline to an outside world I'd forgotten existed. With dementia, it often feels like a continuous despair and loss but carers have enabled us to laugh despite the loss. We Do Care has made a huge difference to our lives - what had seemed impossible, became possible. They do care to provide an excellent service, for all the right reasons.
I have been a client of We Do Care for some years following a less that ideal other provider and can honestly say that they have more than satisfied my needs for the entire time. I am housebound and unable to prepare food for myself, etc. The carers have been most able, helpful and kind. I have spoken to other people who use carers and the unanimous conclusion is that those with the nationally known chains and other large companies do not provide the level of care and compassion that We Do Care does. I would have no reservations in recommending them to anyone who is unfortunate enough to need carers.
I have had the pleasure of being a client at We Do Care for four years. During that time I have received nothing but first-class care and attention. Speaking as someone who has received care for the past 40 years, We Do Care is the best care company I have been with. The management is responsive and pleasant to deal with and the carers are kind, attentive and listen to me very carefully. They both go the extra mile to make sure that I am looked after. To give some context: I am a 59-year-old man, a wheelchair user with muscular dystrophy. I live independently on my own and am now retired after 30 years in a senior position at BBC News. I have nothing but praise for We Do Care. They totally live up to their name. They do care. Speaking as someone with a vast amount of experience, I have to say that the litmus test of carers is their own contentment. I have found that the carers with We Do Care are very happy. I recommend We Do Care without hesitation.
We highly recommend this company, and we know our mum is in very good hands in their care. We have had a few issues in the past, getting things just right, but this was always very quickly resolved and in a very professional manner. One staff member is excellent - a wonderful ambassador for the industry.
We first came across We Do Care 18 months ago when I popped into their office to ask for advice following my mum's discharge from hospital. She has had many falls but this one left her virtually unable to walk and vulnerable. I was immediately impressed by the compassionate and practical response to my predicament. This company is run by a small group of professional and very experienced carers. For us, mum's needs have gone up and down, we have had anything from 1 hour per day through to 24-hour care. In every case, I have been impressed by the efficient and caring approach of the staff. On the rare occasion that a carer has been unable to attend because of unexpected illness, I have been notified early, kept updated and mountains moved in order to get someone to mum quickly. Currently, we have the most exceptional, reliable and compassionate carers, all chosen carefully by the manager to fit mum's particular needs. I really cannot recommend We Do Care highly enough.
Very pleased with the care that is being provided for my Mum and Dad. The carers are all very kind. Would highly recommend We Do Care to anyone looking for carers. Puts my mind at ease to know they visit twice a day to administer meds and assist my Dad to safely get up and shower and in the evening visit to put him to bed.
All of the staff at We Do Care that I have had contact with are friendly, caring and professional. Communication is good, they keep me informed if there are any issues. Dad was not keen on the idea of people coming to help him, however, the caregivers are very respectful and he has come to look forward to their visits. I would definitely recommend We Do Care to anyone looking for caring services.
Always efficient, friendly staff and professional at all times, no complaints at all and yes I would recommend them anytime. Always on time, their daily visits really help me to get through each day as I am bedridden and on my own all day. They take my dog out each day which gives me peace of mind and the dog tends to get very excited with his barking but they soon calm him down he loves seeing the staff, as do I.
I changed to We Do Care as they were half the cost of the previous company and they had a good rating. Family run business. They look after my dad very well even though he can be a bit awkward as he has dementia they take it in their stride. They are always cheery and very caring. Good communication with any issues that arise.
I got in touch with We Do Care after our previous agency had let us down. From our very first meeting, the team were absolutely superb and have been ever since. There isn't anything that is too much trouble for them to do and most importantly my father looks forward to their daily visits. With what they do for my father day to day, they really have made a difference in all of our lives.
We have been using We Do Care now for over 2 years, their service and communications have always been excellent. They have developed a good relationship with my parents and ourselves. Any issues we have raised have been promptly addressed by key staff and they are a pleasure to deal with. My parents are very happy and comfortable and happy with the service and the ladies that come in on a daily basis.
Most staff good, very good. Some have too much opinion as to what Mum needs. As a family, we look after Mum's health and welfare. A third party to be at all reviews (son and daughter).
My brother has never wanted carers as he won’t accept that he has dementia but the other day I said to him how lucky he was to have all these people looking after him and he answered - "I love them all" - which I was very pleased to hear. They are all very caring and look after him very well and I am so grateful to them.
The carers and the whole team have been excellent with my Dad, who is a complicated client (Parkinson's/Lewy body). Visits have made our lives easier and the carers are always friendly and efficient. We had a previous company originally, after Dad broke his hip via the hospital (social services) and one couldn't even begin to compare the company provided through Ealing social services, and the professionalism of the staff and admin at We Do Care. If the client has anything really specific, it's good to write it down for any new members of staff as you can imagine the difference in client health, lucidity and needs. Visits get logged in and out with a note, and I believe if one needs shopping done there are additional services the company provide. As a single main carer for 2 parents with Parkinson's, I couldn't do it without the extra help - unless I had the ability to never sleep and stay alive.
Not being 'round the corner' means I rely on We Do Care (London) Ltd to ensure mum is looked after when I can't be there. And lately (due to Covid-19 lockdown restricitons) this has been more important than ever. They have offered increased visits to ensure household chores are done, topped up food shopping and collected mum's prescriptions. Mum is happy, safe and cared for and that gives me great peace of mind.
Amazing agency! Always so accommodating to the needs of your loved ones. Spent years with bad agency’s and now we are with ‘We Do Care London’ it is such a breath of fresh air!! All carers are so kind and gentle and bring a lovely atmosphere to our home! Management is very easy to get hold of and make you feel like you can ring them absolutely anytime.
We contacted We Do Care when our mother came out of hospital 6 months ago. We did not know how she would respond to having carers to help her get up in the morning, because her dementia means that she rarely recognises anyone outside our immediate family. However, all the staff from We Do Care have been extremely professional, friendly, and empathetic, and we have not noticed any reluctance to their helping her with the very personal tasks of showering and dressing. As our mother’s physical health has improved, we have asked We Do Care to alter her schedule of care on a number of occasions, and have been impressed by, and grateful for, the flexible way in which the Company has responded to our changing needs. Overall, our experience tells us that all the staff, from management down, genuinely do care, and we would highly recommend them to others who are in need of support at home.
The carers have shown great attention and care for my mother which has been much appreciated. One carer has even shared her food with her when she has refused to eat hers.
I cannot put into words the difference that the service ‘We Do Care’ has provided for my family. My father's mental health had deteriorated considerably due to not remembering to take medication. The carers support in this matter has been phenomenal. If there is ever an issue I am contacted immediately. My father feels less lonely due to the friendly carers that come to see him every morning. It is clear to me that ever carer he sees goes that extra mile to support him. He is a different person and I am reassured every day that the carers are doing a wonderful job. The first carer that I met was professional, understanding and above all ‘caring.’
