The agency provided care for my father between March 23 to December 23. The carers treated him with dignity and respect during a distressing time when he was suddenly diagnosed with end-stage cancer. We would like to give particular thanks to the carers who went above and beyond to make his time as comfortable as possible. The family feel so lucky to have had such genuinely kind carers. Lastly, we had regular contact with the Manager both on the phone and home visits. She made it very clear she was there to help and provided her mobile in case of any issues. It was very reassuring to know she was there for support and easily contactable.

Generally speaking, my experience has been okay with the service provider. I have a good relationship with my carer, and the communication is great, but the time is the only issue as I would prefer it to be early, but the carer comes in at about 11 a.m.

Overall, I am happy with the care services provided to my father. The carers are helpful and professional. Due to my father’s dementia, too many different carers can sometimes be difficult to his routine, but it is great to have our regular carers as often as possible. Thanks.

We are very happy and grateful for the service and support that we are receiving from Flexserve carers and management. Flexserve is highly recommended. The carers are very patient, supportive and hardworking.

I am, and have been, very satisfied with the level of care I have been receiving from my carers. I am pleased with the work they do as they support me to be as independent as possible and respect my choices and opinions.

I have liaised with Flexserve for several years now as they provide support for an elderly relative of mine. The carers visit 3 times a day and the level of care is very comprehensive. Morning involves getting the client out of bed, washing, providing breakfast and issuing the medication. Lunchtime is providing a meal and issuing medication. Evening is providing a meal, issuing medication and putting the client to bed. The client totally relies on the carers, they always turn up on time whatever the weather. The relationship between the client and each of the carers is excellent which is of utmost importance. The carers and the management office always get in touch with myself when the need arises. They are readily available when contacted at whatever time of day and are very professional. Summing up. I would thoroughly recommend FlexServe in every respect.

From our experience with the carers, they have been good so far they have done a great job in taking care of my dad everyday. As me and my mum are the primary caregivers, it has been much easier with the help of the carers.

I have no complaints at all, they care about me for about 4 years and ever acoumplish my expectation. They are professional, respectful, caring, came on time. The management always helped me when I need.

Extremely happy with the service providing care for my mother. Staff are friendly, caring and very reliable, they genuinely care for my mother. It’s not always easy to trust people looking after someone you love, but I feel comfortable with this team and we are lucky to have them.

Mum is very happy with all the care received from the staff of Flexserve. She has been using the service for 5 years. The carers help Mum with most things each day, she is genuinely fond of them. They treat her with respect and are always kind.

The carers helped me to care for my husband in the final four weeks of his life. He had terminal cancer. They afforded him dignity and autonomy in the final month of his life. Their support meant I could revert to being his wife again, not consumed by caring duties, and gave me some respite. They were compassionate and helpful- kind to our five-year-old son. They were never intrusive and always respectful of my husband’s needs and wishes. I am extremely grateful to both of them for enabling my husband to die with dignity, pain-free and in a clean comfortable bed.

At the end of last year, my brother passed away, leaving Mum on her own as he was looking after her. I was left trying to find care for her. Mum is awaiting a hip replacement and is in so much pain that she is now in a wheelchair. The carers come three times a day (this can be increased after the operation) to help get her out of bed to wash her, shower her, dress her and to make her breakfast, dinner and tea. My mum often phones me in the day and says that she's had a lovely dinner or shower. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that she is well looked after. The care and support my mum has received has been invaluable especially at this sad time. I have found the carers to be compassionate and comforting to Mum and Mum looks forward to their visits If Mum is unwell or if I have a query they are just a phone call away and are always ready to help in any way they can.

Flexserve provided three times daily care to my mother-in-law for more than three years and live-in care for the last 6 months or so of her life. My mother-in-law and the family were always treated with the utmost consideration, patience, kindness, dignity and professionalism. The manager was accessible and responsive: she succeeded under sometimes difficult circumstances in providing continuity of both care and carer as far as possible, which made a huge difference to my mother-in-law's wellbeing and to our peace of mind. Strong and lasting relationships were forged with several of the carers and we have been happy to recommend Flexserve to a number of friends and neighbours who have had need of care, sometimes at very short notice. As a GP, I am well aware of the challenges facing care agencies in providing this essential service to vulnerable patients and their families. I feel Flexserve has risen to these challenges better than I could possibly have wished for.

Both in the office and in the home Flexserve are responsive, caring and efficient. We really appreciate the intimacy of the relationship between carers, service user and the family. We feel that we all work together well.
