View Full Details of Audley Care EllerslieMy father receives outstanding care from the team at Audley Ellerslie. Without exception, the care team is kind, caring, and compassionate. I am incredibly grateful for the support of the care managers who recognize the challenges of caring for a loved one. Thank you for all you do to support me as well.
We have been living in Ellerslie since July 2020 and started using our Audley Care in April 2023 following my wife suffering from a stroke. We are still using the care department 9 months later and without exception the Care Team is outstanding, very competent, caring and led by a very professional, hands-on management team. Their philosophy is nothing is too much trouble and provide not only personal care for my wife but also professional advice about issues that arise with my wife's health. It is of great comfort to both of us to have a professional and experienced view to support any improvements we can make to improve my wife's health. The Audley Care Management ensures that the team are well trained and we find all the carers a pleasure to have in our home. In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending the engagement and involvement of the Ellerslie Care Team. The team and service are excellent.
The care team at Audley Care Ellerslie looked after my mother very well for the three years she lived there. Her needs grew over time and they were able to support her with great flexibility. The team also provided real companionship, always willing to have a chat and take interest in everything. She eventually needed to move out to receive more nursing care. Because of the care team, she was able to enjoy living in her own apartment, in the very comfortable environment of Ellerslie, for longer.
I have found the care team at Audley’s to be extremely friendly, professional, and approachable. The needs of my godparents were complex and varied. However, although initial care plans were drawn up for both of them, they were amended as required. The issues my godparents faced were outside the realms of my experience but I was greatly reassured that the care team would contact myself when necessary. They have been supportive of myself and my wife. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
Thoughtful and satisfactory.
My brother and I have been helped greatly in the last few weeks due to the care and support provided by the Audley Care Ellerslie (Malvern) care team for my brother. Having recently been taken to hospital as an emergency case, he is now back at Audley Ellerslie and receiving good support from the team, three times a day. Our mother always used to say that 'old age doesn't come alone' - and how right she was. However, knowing that the team are working in the background to support my brother is such a comfort - both to him and to me. I would like to thank and congratulate all who are supporting him - for their care, their ability to communicate well and also for reacting promptly when necessary. A very effective and efficient package. Please know that it is a real help to know that someone is just one phone call away should the need for assistance arise, night or day.
We (my wife and I) are particularly pleased that the staff at Audley Care Ellerslie have been willing to do shopping trips to the supermarket in Great Malvern, on behalf of owners at the Audley Ellerslie site. They have kindly done this for us on a weekly basis during the current lockdown, from 7th April onwards. Each time they have to queue outside the store to gain admission, whatever the weather.
During the lockdown, Audley Care has been diligent in doing our shopping and collecting medicine. All done efficiently with good grace and humour. Thank you team.
Audley Care carers have been excellent with their care and dedication in looking after the complex needs of my husband. They are competent, caring and most importantly 'client focused' at all times during a visit. For me as a sole carer in Covid times, they bring a sense of reality into the house each day. Thank you.
During lockdown, the staff have done our food shopping and collected prescriptions from the chemist. We are very grateful for their help as we cannot shop online. They have been going to a supermarket for us. The food is delivered to our door. We really appreciate and are grateful for their help. It must be very time-consuming and difficult to shop for so many. We would like to express our thanks. At our age, we are nervous to go to the shops.
I have lived here for 3 years now and have found the staff very respectful, cheerful and keen to help. I am disabled and everyone has gone out of their way to see things are right for me from management on. Since the Coronavirus, we have had a skeleton staff and they have turned their hands to whatever has needed doing ie cooking, gardening, caring, cleaning etc. I feel like this is a real home now.
We're not really in a position to write a review since we have not to date had care to make use of Audley Care, apart from the cleaning service and very occasional day care. We do, however, find the latter rather beyond our means and so only make use of it in instances of emergency. My ratings, therefore, refer only to the cleaning and day care.
Shopping bi-weekly during lockdown. Always cheerful, willing, polite and always willing to please.
Used for housekeeping, prescription collection and shopping. Cleaning our apartment has ranged from excellent to poor depending on who does it. I would like more continuity with a cleaner we like.
The service, particularly with regard to the complications of coronavirus, has been excellent and exemplary: Strategic, prioritised, informative, empathetic, caring and individually focused. Outstanding!
Everyone treats my family as their family. They are looked after, fussed over and protected. From the high standard of hygiene and shielding guidance within Audley, to the zoom meetings, meals and even cocktails delivered to their door to keep their spirits up, the care has been outstanding. Before they moved here I was worried that it was expensive, but with the Covid 19 pandemic the peace of mind them being there is priceless, and we often say it’s the best move they could have made. I couldn’t do this much for them.
We are very satisfied with the standard of home care provided. A plus is being able to view the daily log. A negative point re: administration is the length of notice time necessary to change a call to avoid payment. It would also be helpful to received written ie email confirmation to acknowledge cancellation of a slot.
We use Audley Care for respite from time to time to look after my godmother who lives with Alzheimer’s disease and has complex needs. Her care plan was completed in collaboration with me and was thorough and sensitively written. Staff took a great deal of time with us to gain the information they needed to provide the best care and meet her unique needs. We find the carers are kind and caring, and many of them take her out to lovely places and cafes which is much appreciated. My godmother always seems cheerful after a visit by Audley Care and her house is always clean and tidy. Thank you.
Having had carers in my home since May 2019 they have been very good in caring for me and keeping to their time schedule both morning and evening. A very good system and reliable service.
My husband has dementia. He is now in a care home where he has been since April of this year. Before that I, his wife was caring for him at home. I used the services of Audley Care occasionally when I needed to go out alone. The carers were very good sitting with him and occasionally took him out for a walk. It would have been better if they had bought some sort of games or had some other interaction with him rather than just sitting with him. He didn’t like it when a carer came to be with him and ‘hid in his room. The care was very expensive.
