View Full Details of Guardian Angel Carers - WorthingMy mother has ongoing mobility issues and was diagnosed with mixed dementia in 2020. We used the services of GA for 2 years. The care mum had was so supportive of her condition and needs. The staff were extremely caring, professional and helpful to mum. I was able to liase with the office team or chat to the ladies when they were at mums home if I had any worries or concerns. As mums condition got worse a hospital bed was bought into mums home. The agency adapted to mums care needs and went above and beyond for mums final 2 months. Mum was able to stay at home with the carers looking after all her basic needs with so much love, care and attention which was so much appreciated by myself and the rest of the family. Mum was able pass away at home as she had wanted to. We were so lucky to have found such a wonderful caring agency to support us through this very difficult period with mum.
The carers are a great help, I could not manage without them. They are prompt and cheerful.
We have used Guardian Angels since May 2023 for my mum, who had an ischemic stroke in January 2023 which left her with right-side paralysis and aphasia. The carers have been a vital part of Mum's rehabilitation. When the carers attend, they have always treated her with the utmost respect and dignity. Always arriving full of friendly smiles, chatting with Mum about the day and the sound of laughter ringing through the flat. Mum and Dad love to look forward to their arrival. If ever I had to contact the office, (even out of hours) the staff are always friendly and extremely supportive.
I have found the carers very good, sympathetic to my needs and extremely mindful of my feelings.
Very good. Unable to do without support. I very much enjoy the company of the carers.
I've been a client with Guardian Angels for a few years now, and I can honestly say I'm extremely happy with the care that I have received. I've had a few emergencies over the last year when my husband was rushed to hospital and I've needed extra support. Guardian Angels really stepped up and I received the extra care straight away. All of the carers offer a high level of care and can't do enough for you. Definitely recommend and I can't thank them enough.
All carers are caring, kind and friendly. One couldn't ask for a better team of carers and admin staff. They have always gone the extra mile to ensure that my wife is kept comfortable, free from pressure sores and in the very best health that her condition allows.
Genuinely caring and friendly. They are gentle when persuasion is needed and find alternative ways around resistance to some essential tasks. All duties done diligently but with common sense, the notes are completed well which keeps me up to date - that gives me peace of mind that all is well. Office staff also really helpful and friendly even out of hours. I hope that if I ever need care and assistance that I get similar standards where I live.
Been using this service for over a year - happy with the whole set-up. I enjoy the girls' company, they are friendly and help me with my care needs in a respectful way. My power of attorney deals with the office, she has prompt replies to emails and they run the business efficiently.
All the girls are very respectful, caring and thoughtful.
It is always a pleasure to have a visit. I feel they really are 'angel' carers and this is so important for someone who can often feel lonely. I don't have any family anywhere near and many of my friends live far away.
The carers are always very good and give the client a lot of support in his daily routine which he finds very rewarding.
I have never had a poor carer. New carers have been eager to learn about my individual needs. Dignity? Not viable with showering, the carer keeps chatting to overcome shyness. Good rapport accompanied with concern for minor injuries, but most of all empathy and laughter.
The Guardian Angel agency in Worthing provided care for my friend for some very difficult months in 2021. When she was hospitalised in August the agency pulled out all the stops in order to provide a round the clock care package which allowed her to come home from hospital. This meant that she was able to spend her last days at home. The care they provided in these days was over and above and some of the carers were just amazing. They actually made the last days of my friend’s life comfortable, safe and full of love. Her friends could visit (not possible in hospital due to Covid) and her friends could feel confident that she was safe and well looked after. This meant the absolute world at the time and also now when we look back at those last days. I couldn’t thank the carers and agency enough for what they did. It was definitely more than money could buy and I’m forever grateful.
When it became necessary to organise care for my mother, I was impressed with how quickly a care assessment was arranged and a care plan rapidly agreed and delivered. The manager and office staff were professional, efficient and helpful. Every effort was made to tailor the care to my mothers changing needs by flexible, responsive and compassionate care staff. My mother reported that she was being treated like a queen, which at a time when I was unable to visit her myself due to Coronavirus restrictions, was very reassuring and much appreciated.
We could not have wished for better care for our Dad. Care started in June 2020 when Dad needed a bit of help with preparing meals and medication and someone to talk to. Then, as the weeks went on, Dad needed further help with getting up in the morning, personal care and getting to bed. And finally, Dad was bedridden and needed comprehensive care. Throughout this time, the Guardian Angels carers adapted to Dad's changing needs with professionalism, expertise and compassion. They also developed a genuine connection and friendship that brightened up his day. As a family, we built up a really good relationship with everyone involved and were kept fully informed, especially via an app that described what was happening at each visit. I am so pleased we chose Guardian Angel Carers, thank you to everyone involved.
Efficient, punctual and very pleasant. Handling of protecting client during covid19 pandemic has been excellent.
I find the carers are delightful, professional and very kind.
From the moment Mum said she wanted to come home, her carers have shown her the utmost care and consideration. They treated her as a friend not a client with love and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble they would not leave until they were sure that Mum was comfortable and that I was happy with what I needed to ask for community nurses to visit. They were always calm and professional and I was amazed at their expertise in turning a patient using sheets, causing minimum discomfort to Mum. When Mum died, her lovely carers came to prepare her for the undertakers and stayed to comfort me in my loss. I cannot thank them enough.
My mum described her carer as very jolly, a very nice person to talk to and caring. I have found the present carer to be very efficient. I have been notified twice regarding creams for my mum. She is professional and attentive and all times.
