View Full Details of BelleVie (Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Witney, Kidlington)Myself, my brother and my mum are all delighted with the service supplied by Bellevie and in fact, our neighbours have also selected them for their care based on our recommendation. All the carers really care about my mum who has Alzheimer's. Her key worker is brilliant and communication always swift and easy. We trust them one hundred per cent.
I started using BelleVie care services early 2024 as I struggled with mental and physical health problems, needing holistic care. Since early 2024, I have experienced excellent personal and well-being care visits on a weekly basis. I feel safe, valued and happier knowing I can call on skilled, caring and well-trained staff connected and offering holistic support. Nothing is too much trouble. Friends for life.
We are so grateful to BelleVie and all the support they have given to my mum over the last six months. The communication is excellent and they are very responsive and proactive in identifying and sorting day-to-day issues. This has made a huge difference to our family as we all live some distance from our mum. I highly recommend BelleVie.
Thank you to Bellevie for the person-centred care that you provide to my husband. The care team strive to know his individual needs and communicate with kindness and interest. Their care is of a high standard and always reliable, helping him get to work on time.
BelleVie came into our lives about eighteen months ago to support my husband as he struggled to cope when I was in hospital. Whenever he came to see me he would speak in glowing terms about "the lovely ladies." When I came home from hospital, I was in need of some care myself, so I too became a client of the lovely ladies and discovered just how well those words describe them. My husband is now in a residential nursing home but I am still receiving care from BelleVie and it makes all the difference to my strange new life. It's not just the professional way they go about their work, though that is exemplary, it's knowing that every day I will see somebody who will take time for me, help me with any problem I may have and chat with me like a friend. I enjoy getting to know them as people and they truly are lovely ladies.
I can’t rate BelleVie high enough. They have cared for Mum and Dad for a couple of years, nothing is ever too much trouble for any member of the team. We welcomed them into Mum and Dad's home and they very quickly became part of the family, they genuinely care deeply for Mum and Dad and the care they offer is so amazing, they are all so kind, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They can always make Mum and Dad laugh and go out of their way to make time to sit and talk to them. They go above and beyond their role as a carer, they have supported me with hospital visits, advice on specialised equipment to enable Dad to come home from hospital safely, shopping, medication chasing from GPs and just being a shoulder to cry on when it all gets a bit too much. You can always get in contact with them, there are no silly answer phones. If you are looking for care for a loved one you will not find a care agency better than BelleVie. I would be completely lost without them.
The team are very good at communicating both through the app and verbally with myself. They provide a good, friendly service to my mother-in-law and have helped with improving her quality of life. If we need to request extra support, they always do their best to provide it, such as taking her to appointments or helping her do her food shop.
BelleVie have been a big help to our almost-independent adult daughter. Not only do the carers diligently and cheerfully carry out the home-support tasks asked of them, they provide great personal support, showing a good understanding and appreciation of our daughter's particular needs and sensitivities. The fact that they truly respect her views, feelings and opinions is a very pleasant change from some other institutions and professionals, and has had a very positive impact on her. The routine interaction with the diverse but unfailingly interesting and interested carers improves her mental health considerably, provides her with access to a wider range of life experiences and stabilises her daily/weekly routine. I have only given four stars for Value for Money, but the improvement in her wellbeing is worth every penny!
My mother was initially very reluctant to accept carer visits but now enjoys weekly visits and her carer accompanies her for walks and provides invaluable companionship. My mother doesn't need help with getting dressed or washing but carer provides good-humoured conversation and helps with gardening. Appreciate weekly feedback on the app.
Belle Vie have been caring for my Mum since Jan 2023. We are really happy with the support they provide, which enables Mum to continue living independently. The carers are all really lovely and go out of their way to make sure Mum is happy and well looked after. They are 100% reliable and as we're over an hour's drive away from Mum, it is reassuring to know they are there for her. Communication, both with the team and with management is great and the regular updates on the app are really helpful. We are so glad we found Belle Vie and would definitely recommend them.
The care provided by the whole BelleVie team is exceptional, and we feel that our father is happy and safe thanks to his lovely team of carers who are thoughtful and genuinely compassionate. From the administering of medication to stimulating conversation and activities, we feel reassured that our father is getting the best possible care in his home. Communication with BelleVie is very smooth and efficient, and we appreciate how adaptable the service is, providing friendly and responsive support as the needs of our father develop.
BelleVie have made it possible for my mother to live on her own. She finds her carers sympathetic and helpful and I appreciate the good lines of communication, whether with individual carers or the management team.
Bellevue has been brilliant with my husband who has a very rare progressive, degenerative disease. His carers are very attentive and caring and patiently listen to him as his voice is slowly going. It is good he only has 3 or 4 different carers, so they can get used to him and his needs and he can get used to them. He will need carers more often in future as his needs increase, but I know BelleVie will accommodate him.
How could I manage without your wonderful team! The care you give to our mother is respectful, kind, professional and very loving. She feels in safe hands and we know that we can rely on the wonderful team to enable Mum to enjoy life still at her great age. You are a team that works with us and Mum. We know we can rely on you all when we can't be there for her.
As a former senior manager in local authority social services, I remember how much time, effort and money we put into trying to deliver an excellent home care service. Giving carers decent terms and conditions of employment, access to training and sufficient time to do the job well and without rushing, are all critical elements. As a family, we were impressed by BelleVie's commitment to providing these sorts of building blocks for a high quality of service. We have been very pleased with the care BelleVie has provided to my mother, which we feel reflects an approach that is not very common in today's very overstretched and competitive 'market'. It is not the cheapest care around, but I do think it represents value for money for families who are able to pay a little bit extra for a good quality service. In this 'professional care workers' week', I would like to say a big 'thank you' to all of you who do such a vital job with such little formal recognition or financial reward.
My wife recently died from Leukaemia (AML) after 2-months of support from BelleVie. They were flexible as to the amount of support they provided, as her condition deteriorated. They were particularly empathetic to my wife, as she was determined to die in her own bed at home, which made things more difficult for them. The care involved working with the Palliative Care Team and the District Nurse. Individuals were willing to spend extra time to help my wife accept her situation and cope with the indignities of the end of life. This individual support was absolutely exceptional and demonstrated the commitment of BelleVie to the very individual care that they can provide.
We have recently started using BelleVie to support my mum. We have been extremely impressed with the service provided and the whole experience. Communication is very good, with messages answered promptly and any changes made with ease. My mum was initially worried about receiving support, but she has accepted the help quickly and now looks forward to her visits. She has built relationships with the carers that visit and has grown fond of them. They try to ensure that the number of different carers visiting are as small as possible, which my mum is pleased about. The carers that have visited mum are very professional and we are always amazed how much they do in an hour! Due to my mum's increasing needs, we are just in the process of increasing her hours per week and we feel confident that this will be money well spent as the care provided, enables her to cope at home when otherwise she would not.
We have been having support for my uncle and auntie since November 2021, and we all are absolutely delighted with all the girls that give them so much help and conversation. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
My connection with BelleVie started in the autumn of 2021 when I could no longer provide adequate care for my aged husband as I had health problems myself. All the carers were wonderfully kind and considerate and even thought of ways of helping us which we hadn't thought of ourselves. After my husband passed away, I wanted to continue with BelleVie while I was recovering from surgery. Now I'm ready to be independent, and it's definitely been a success story! But it's reassuring to know that I can ask for help again, should the need arise. I feel as if I was saying goodbye to friends.
My aunt lives on her own and has always been very active and independent. She is in her 80s and the Covid pandemic has not been an easy experience for her. All the social events she enjoyed stopped. When I noticed she was having some memory problems and not eating properly I contacted BelleVie. The staff have been so kind. They have been able to offer a flexible, personalised package of support which has enabled my aunt to stay in her own home. Having worked as a social worker in an older adult team I am very familiar with care organisations. BelleVie is the best I have encountered. I think this is due to the care they take to recruit a high calibre of staff. Their pay structure means that staff are not rushed or overloaded and have time to develop relationships with the people they support. I would highly recommend this organisation.
