Very happy with the services we received thank you and a little break away to relax to recharge our batteries to start again caring for our daughter so appreciate everything thing Edith Healthcare

Edithcare were referred to us by social services at a time when our mother was in urgent need of full-time care in her own home. She had always been determined not to ever go into a care home so a live-in carer was the only option. The carers had to be extremely patient as our mother also hated the idea of ever actually needing care of any kind, and most of the time she was a very difficult and aggressive patient. The carers coped well with the situation and also had a good working relationship with our family members as we all did our best to make things work under difficult circumstances.

My father has been fortunate to have Edith Care since Christmas. The carers and management team are very aware of his needs and how, and when/when not to interact with dad. The notes they leave on the app are a real help to me, my brother and my sister. We feel like we know how he is even when not able to visit him. The communication between the whole team and myself is second to none. They are always there to support and help with dad's needs. Working together is paramount to dad being able to stay in his own home, which is what he wants. Working closely with Edith Care means dad is looked after to the highest standard and all his needs are met. I can not recommend them highly enough. They are compassionate, and caring and nothing is too much trouble. A big thank you to the whole team.

My mother-in-law was looked after by Edith Healthcare when she was still able to mobilise, talk and well in herself. She loved knitting, the staff would come to do her visit and give themselves extra time to chat to her and knit. They started doing lessons with her, her showing them how to knit. They had such a good bond with her. At times they would come to pick her up and take her for coffee. When my wife died, I asked Edith Healthcare if they can put someone in place to live in with her which they did and the ladies that lived with her were very good with her. However, she got very sick and ended up in hospital, while there she asked to be taken home as she wanted to have her last days in her home. The manager of Edith Healthcare worked with the hospital, we got her home. They looked after her till her final day and because I was still grieving my wife I asked if they can assist with the funeral arrangements, registering death etc, they did a brilliant job, all I did was attend the funeral.

I can only give the highest praise for the care I receive from this company. The staff list my mood and I feel so much better after their visits. They all have a good sense of humour and I feel we now have an excellent rapport. Long may it continue.

I have been supporting my ex-husband as a live-in career since October 2018 at which time I met the Edith Care team of careers. They are extremely friendly and helpful and we work as a team to provide the best possible care. They are very caring with their client, always cheerful and chatty and their lighthearted banter makes it a pleasure to have them in the home. I know, without doubt, that if we needed extra support in any way, they would do their best to help. We are really pleased with the offer we receive.

After my father-in-law came out of hospital after his second fall and breaking his second hip with a previous home care agency I was very wary of another agency to care for his needs. The manager and her team are amazing, my father-in-law loves it when the carers come in for there visits and they spend time talking to him and cater for all his needs. The staff are all friendly, and care about my father-in-law and keep me updated with any change I need to know about his welfare. I would definitely recommend Edith Healthcare to friends and family the team not only get to know the service user but also us the family.

I cannot speak too highly of the help and support given to me by Edith Healthcare. From the day my husband was discharged from hospital I felt completely supported by them and good advice given for the care needed. At the end when the full-time carer was needed a wonderful caring lady was supplied.

The wonderful friendly care my mum is receiving has seen her change from a very frail, lonely, confused and frightened lady. Now she is looking so much healthier having gained weight and her appetite. Though her dementia-related confusion will never get better, her whole demeanour is much more cheerful and she looks forward to her carers reliable, regular visits. Mum's dementia means her needs are regularly assessed and agreed by mum, carer and family in a relaxed friendly manner. Mum's carer(s) have now become family friends.

The staff at Edith Healthcare have been an absolute pleasure to get to know. My Mum suffers with Alzheimer's disease and their patience and encouragement has been second to none. They treat my Mum like an individual and nothing is too much trouble. We have had excellent communication with the carers, and it's great to know how each visit has gone. Mum was resisting getting any outside help in at first but the team at Edith have ensured that this has been a positive experience for her. I have peace of mind knowing that they are there each day to help.

Thank you so much for looking after mum, cannot fault the help mum received, as sadly mum was dying, a very difficult time for all. We had 24-hour care and there was someone there at all times. Thank you Edith Healthcare.

The service we received from Edith Healthcare was fantastic and completely surpassed my expectations. They were professional, respectful and compassionate. The care given to my mum during her final time at home was brilliant and tailored exactly to her needs. The support and understanding the Edith team showed to my dad, me and the rest of my family, made things so much easier for us. I can and would, without reservation, recommend their services.

The carers always greet me with a smile in a cheerful way. They are careful and gentle with my personal care, very attentive with my needs. Always ensuring I have everything at hand before they leave me.
