View Full Details of Nwando CareCarers have been absolutely wonderful. Thanks to all for making me feel comfortable and giving me great care.
Good care service.
Very reassuring and caring. They make me smile! They are my friends!
The carers that have been helping out my grandmother in Barnet have been highly useful and friendly individuals. The day-to-day care has been great. I think that there is potentially room for improvement on the management side of things, ie. took about a month before we had a contract saying what was actually expected. Such things are by the by though, when in comparison with the attention shown by the majority of the carers that I have dealt with.
My brother's lead carer has shown intelligence and conscientiousness alongside care in fulfilling my brother's needs. She has dealt with medical and domestic needs efficiently and liaises with other members of the family when appropriate.
My experience is a positive one, exceeded my expectations all the carers were polite and professional. However, their arrival is not as reliable as expected or possible compared to the previous company we used they were great.
I can rely on our carers. They are skilled, compassionate and kind. They are also able to keep my husband safe, calm and content. They are the best of his care. Thank you
I am very happy with my care, all the carers treat me with dignity. The only problem is with my son who moans about the slight things, I have no problems with my carers. Keep up the good work.
All seems to be working as it should be at present, a regular pattern of visits has been established and visiting times seem to be now more consistent. Always polite and has a smile on their face and at times when I have met always have a chat, can relate to my mother well. It would be appreciated if fair warning could be given as to when items are running how rather than being told that we have run out, general comment. Medication is given correctly.
My mum's regular carer from Nwando Care is brilliant. She's attentive and understanding of my mum's needs. She's polite and friendly and interacts with my mum who has dementia. The carer is reactive to my mum's needs and is flexible with activities. We are still trying to find a second/cover carer with the same attitude and approach as her regular carer. The office are friendly and approachable. We'd prefer the rota to be updated more than a week in advance but we understand the challenges with managing many rotas.
Overall Nwando Care has the potential to be a great care provider. It is run by good management who have a caring attitude towards the client and family. What lets them down is their staff's casualness towards good punctuality. It needs to be taken more seriously to deliver the professional service the client deserves. On the contrary, they have some staff whose delivery of calls is very good and their punctuality is excellent. It is a handful bringing the agency down with consistent lateness.
Staff at the placement are very helpful, even given my limited needs. Pleasures to chat to. My support worker has helped well outside of what is typically expected of his role! Apart from choice residents, no complaints whatsoever!
Everybody has been very helpful.
I have been very happy with the care my daughter has received. She is making tremendous progress since transitioning to Nwando Care. I hope this continues with greater achievements.
The office staff are very good, they are always extremely helpful. My carer has told me she works 7 days a week and can be tired with her help with me. She needs at least one day of rest in the week to give her the energy to cope with caring for others. I would like her to dry my hair with a hairdryer especially in the winter months rather than just using a towel. Apart from that we get on well.
My husband has had wonderful care and support from Nwando Domiciliary Care. They are kind and efficient and nearly always cheerful in nature, which is a great pleasure to us. A few times the arrival here is too late in the morning and evening, but usually this has an explanation, but everything else is good.
Overall, I am pleased with the service. Sometimes the carers leave early and I had to complain about the use of mobile phones. The carers are very pleasant and polite.
The escort carers that Nwando Care provide are committed to providing excellent care.
I thought my review was great. My sister and brother were here to help me if I didn't understand what was being asked.
I find that the care coordinator who I called last Monday 19 December, requesting some local cleaning services of my flat, (this was made aware to me 2 months ago by the care coordinator, unfortunately, the cleaners were on holidays). I then got a text from the care coordinator on Thursday December 15th, saying that the cleaning ladies were back from holidays. I then called the care coordinator on the 19th Dec, saying that I am going to make a complaint because she still had not arranged for the cleaning of my flat. She then called me back on the 19th December, saying that she will get back to me the following day, Tuesday, with dates and times for the cleaning/cleaners. Today is the 29th December and I have not and don't think that I will hear from the care coordinator until the New Year. I have made Nandos Care aware that if I don't hear from the care coordinator today, I will be making a second complaint against the care coordinator for failing to contact, or get in touch with me regarding the cleaning of my flat. The care coordinator said I should call her, if I have questions.
