View Full Details of You Before Me CareYou Before Me became part of our care package as my wife's complex needs increased. The care was overnight and lately in addition included cover for some afternoons. The carers were almost all nurses who were both very efficient and compassionate. Both medical and personal needs were dealt with and the carers became an extension of our family. The care given especially with breathing-related assistance was vital and gave me great peace of mind. Without the support they gave my wife would have greatly struggled and she would have been under much greater stress and would not have survived as long as she did.
You Before Me Care provided care to my brother through the last nine months of his life when suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. From the initial assessment of care needs through to the final days of his life the carers were totally professional not just in meeting his care requirements but they always treated him with respect and dignity. The manager with her nursing background and medical knowledge demanded very high standards from her staff and liaised well with other health care professionals who visited the house regularly. She also provided a lot of emotional support to my sister who has been caring for my brother throughout the duration of his illness. Changes to the amount of care required were frequently needed and these changes were always met and implemented quickly. We will always be grateful to everyone at You Before Me for providing a quality of care that enabled my brother to stay at home for the final months of his life in comfort and peace.
My parents are very well looked after. The staff employed care about my parents as individuals and are very patient and understanding as both my parents suffer from dementia. They go beyond the call of duty by keeping the house tidy and accompanying my parents to doctors appointments. If there are problems, extra carers are sent to deal with the issue. I would recommend their services.
It has taken time because of several issues. Been with them for 10 months. Firstly was quite wary because I didn’t choose them, CHC funded. I have high standards and expect good, if not better quality of care, always believing that it is our right as disabled, chronically ill, etc. Regardless of race, gender, orientation etc. Good care or enablement is what is needed. So I strive to get the best I can for the benefit of all. Carers are humans no one is perfect, but you need to build upon people's skills and use your carers in a way you’d like to be tested yourself. However, you must as a recipient never lose sight of yourself and be the best version of who you are. Relationships with carers over the years I’ve experienced many care companies, employed my own Carers/Personal assistants, as a family built up relationships and remained friends with many. A learning curve for us all. Be the best version of yourself all across the board. Basic human kindness!
I have been very pleased with the service, very friendly and most importantly made me feel very comfortable and at all times.
The care that I received was excellent. I was supported in my activities with encouragement and help and advice. I found no fault in my care and would recommend their help and advice to any person needing their help. Thank you.
I would like to thank this care company for the care they provided for my father. My father's needs were complex and the support they provided us was very good. All of the carers genuinely care for their clients and this also applies to the manager who leads by example. Whenever I had any questions or any issues she was always available for me to contact her. The carers that looked after my father were very good and were always polite and courteous to my father and my family. I would like to pass on my thanks to everyone that supported us in caring for my father. Well done!
I have been looked after so well that I will miss all your lovely attention, which has been done with great care and thought for my wishes.
First-time experience for home care, very satisfactory. Three carers that my brother really likes, but unfortunately, he doesn’t like male carers, so we are hoping the female carers will continue, and the rota is for a few weeks at a time.
They are such a kind company, and they live up to the company's name. My husband is treated with respect, dignity and such kindness. Any problems, we always get a phone call. They are very caring and are aware of his needs. We love having them in our home.
My heartfelt gratitude to the lovely carers that looked after my partner; they were very caring and lovely people. My 24-hour live-in helper is so wonderful.
I am 89 and have had cancer for four years, and I am so grateful for the help I have had from the manager and her group. It has made my life much easier. Thank you so much.
I have never known such caring people/carers. Always smiling, laughing, singing to their client, who responds and reacts so well. It makes me and my family feel so happy, confident and completely satisfied with the care she is given. The carers are on time, work hard for their client to give her the best care. We could not ask for anymore!
Always helpful and accomodating. Mum and Dad were both anxious regarding carers, and they now look forward to their visits. Carers always keep me updated.
You Before Me Care have looked after my 93-year-old mother for about 3-months after discharge from hospital following a heart operation. Having always been independent, she was reluctant to receive any assistance at home, but the company has worked with us to create a suitable care plan tailored for her. They try to maintain a regular, small team of carers to visit, which means they can get to know her better, manage her needs, and are quick to keep us advised of any concerns and deal with them appropriately. Likewise, they have accommodated changes we have requested for daily routines. They also try to chat during visits and sometimes have a laugh and joke, which she enjoys. They give her full respect, and she seems totally happy with them. It would be slightly better if some visits were at a more regular time, but we do understand this is not always possible. The care team are all very genuine, friendly and approachable, and we have every confidence in them, which is reassuring.
After my husband's knee replacement had complications, we were left with no choice but to bridge the gap for his care at home while waiting for his re-enablement package. You Before Me Care were the last company we tried after being turned down everywhere else, and honestly, it was the best outcome. The care, kindness and professionalism they have shown not only to my husband but myself has surpassed my expectations. I would highly recommend them.
Always caring - doing as asked when in your home. Do their best to keep to the time asked for. Always clean and wear masks, gloves and aprons. Could spend more time at visit.
My mother needed caring people to put her to bed at night because she could no longer manage this by herself. You Before Me Care achieved everything I asked of them, not only did they care for my mother, they actually cared about what they were doing. The team would actually sit and ask about her day and have a polite laugh and a joke with her. It sounds like such a simple thing but it speaks volumes about the company. They would have long and meaningful discussions with me on all aspects of my mother's needs to ensure they were doing the very best for her. Make no mistake, when it comes to someone else caring for my mother, my standards are high. So anyway, would I recommend You Before Me Care, to you? Absolutely yes - 1000% of it I would. Regards.
Excellent professional care after my stay in hospital. Helped to get me to full mobility. You Before Me were my carers for my late husband for a short while and I was very confident to ask them to help me.
I have been extremely pleased with the standard of care displayed by my carer who has been looking after my home for me while I have been recuperating from a heart operation. Her work is of a very high standard. She is very polite, friendly and very caring. I would recommend my carer and her team mates very highly and would not hesitate to use them again. First Class.
