Abney & Baker provide an excellent service and professionally minded staff. They are always cheerful, helpful and caring. It's always a pleasure to see them as nothing is too much trouble.

My mother is 99 years old. She lives alone in a flat. Two years ago I discovered that Abney & Baker had opened a branch nearby and I asked them to start providing care for her. Mentally she is very capable but she has lost her sight and doesn't hear very well. Also, her mobility is quite poor. The family is very satisfied with the quality of care that Abney & Baker are providing. She has three visits by carers every day. They talk with her and look after her flat. She likes the carers who visit and tells me all about them. I am confident that Abney & Baker are providing care and companionship to a high standard.

Carers and management are very professional caring and interested. Care is second to none they have become like a family to my wife and myself. The support given to me has helped me cope with the situation my wife and I find ourselves in.

Abney & Baker have been extremely supportive, providing excellent care. Admin staff have always been available to provide advice and support.

Always cheerful and proactive in improving the care provided and adapting to person requirements. During the review process, Mum is always laughing and happy due to the management's positive and cheerful approach. Very kind service and always accommodating to Mum's needs.

Having used that service for 6 months it has given me the reassurance knowing that the care provided to the service user is exceptional.

I have found the service that I have received from all ladies who have cared for me very helpful and kind. Some ladies see what needs to be done, a few need me to ask them to do things.

From the first day that the carers started looking after my mother, they showed nothing but kindness, compassion and patience. They would do things just how my mother wanted them to be done as she could become agitated if things were not done how she would do them. The personal care delivered was also to a high standard and the family was confident that our mother was in safe hands. All the carers were very vigilant with Mum's health issues, raising any concerns at an early opportunity. The relief I felt knowing that all the carers were on top of things was immense. It felt like the carers had become friends and my mother valued their company. Sadly we've had to stop using Abney & Baker as my mother has had to move into a nursing home.

Always cheerful and happy staff when they arrive. The carers look after my wife very well ensuring she does not fall over and escort her around the house. I couldn't wish for a better care company to look after my wife. I feel very confident when I leave her with her carer while I leave the house to work on my business.

Abney & Baker are providing meal and shower support to my elderly mother and have been so flexible and accommodating at all times. They really do care and go above and beyond at every opportunity. Highly recommended.

Your colleagues meet my requests which I feel are not unreasonable as one settled into a routine.

Each carer has shown kindness and patience to my mother, even though Mum gets belligerent occasionally. If I need to contact the company there is an excellent emergency out-of-hours service.
