View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Ramsgate)The carers and office staff/management have been excellent and truly exceptional. The carers are all kind, gentle, communicative and really seem to care, can't fault them at all. All the communications with the office locally have been dealt with efficiently. My only concern is that out of hours doesn't work well, technology could be used to better effect and I would happily give my phone details to carers so they could let me know about any delays, which rarely happen. My concerns before my husband came out of hospital have been unfounded.
This is the carer's fifth week with my Dad, and Dad and I are appreciating her help. She is kind, calm, and highly competent - exactly what I was hoping for in my Dad's carer. She understands his needs and nothing is too much trouble for her. I've noticed how Dad's anxiety levels have dropped since she started working with him, and he really looks forward to her visits.
Helping Hands carers have been assisting with my mother's home care for the last 17 months, they go above and beyond and cannot fault them. The carers are well chosen by the management team and know what they are doing, and above all keep me up to speed with any concerns etc. The carers provide sufficient support to my mother, whilst also being able to promote her own dignity and independence by allowing her to do as much she can, giving her choices in meals/quizzes/chatting about the garden etc. The carers are regulars, so they know the routine and above all my mum, as to what she likes and doesn't, which works extremely well and provides trust and banter. Any concerns that I have raised with the management/leadership team have been dealt with effectively and quickly. Having experienced care agencies previously and how they deal with their clients, Helping Hands is by far the best!
