View Full Details of Caremark Central BedfordshireI had to have care due to living on my own and having a knee replacement. From the initial assessment, to the end of my six week care, it was a great experience for having care which I was dreading. Office staff were great when I called, carers were cheerful and very professional right to the end. Would recommend this company to anyone.
Caremark Central Bedfordshire personnel are kind, conscientious and easy to get along with. I have found that they have a true vocation for their work. They go the extra mile and are like my friends. I have become so much more independent and enabled with their help. They really help me to maintain a positive mindset and make my life so much easier all round. They have been so supportive and understanding during my recent mental health crisis; indeed, I can honestly say that their input shortened my recovery time.
When I first contacted Caremark Central Bedfordshire, they were extremely helpful. Then when one staff member in particular came to visit us and go through everything she was extremely pleasant helpful and very friendly. Dad has since been very happy with all his carers, of which are a nice small group of friendly helpful people. They have helped with all my dad's needs and take their time with him. We could not praise them enough.
My wife and I (both 80) are learning to cope with her advanced mixed dementia and arthritis issues. We contracted with Caremark Central Bedfordshire to give us additional respite care. We already receive help from another provider, but wanted to make sure we were not inadvertently left in the lurch when replacement carers were unavailable (holiday, etc.). From the outset, our experience with Caremark has been exemplary. The first impression was positive in that great care was taken to identify our needs, and make sure that relevant personal details were declared and recorded. We were initially concerned that a new carer unfamiliar with us and our quirks would cause friction, and maybe even increase already heightened stress levels. Not so. The various carers we have had have universally been easy to get on with, yet totally professional. A significant factor we experience is that Caremark keep a close eye on care progress, with a more or less monthly informal visit to make sure no problems are arising.
I find the staff friendly and accommodating. I find it reassuring that carers can be called upon to give extra help when unexpected circumstance occur and all in all they provide very good care which I greatly appreciate.
We find the carers are very polite, friendly and punctual most of the time. We feel that older people would appreciate having to get used to fewer carers as we are not always good at accepting change. Being in hospital, we have found has it's drawbacks, that is our only real grievance is that we are charged if we do not give 24 hour notice, how this is possible if you are being told one minute you can come home then they turn round tell you that you've got to stay in. Apart from that we are very happy with everything else. Thank you very much for all the support you give.
All of them wonderful.
All the girls are very kind and caring.
My Dad's carer found my dad unconscious last week and was amazing. She helped him till paramedics arrived and took him to hospital. It seems it may have been a bad stroke, but whatever caused this, thanks to her, my dad is still alive today! Also massive thanks to the care manager who has been an amazing support through all of this.
Just can't thank you enough, and your staff member for saving our father's life recently after a serious medical episode. On behalf of me and my two brothers. It was the quick thinking of your member of staff who identified there was a serious problem and got him the medical attention he needed urgently. Very difficult to put into words, but thank you so much.
Home care has been providing care to my father for the past 3 years, initially for 1-2 hours per day but, more recently progressing to a live-in carer. I have found them to be delivering an excellent level of care. They are flexible, respectful, and understanding, encouraging my father when he is able and supporting him when he is not. The need to move to a full-time live-in carer was responded to quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with the carer we have, who supports with personal care, and day-to-day support such as cooking and cleaning, and even advocates for him in meetings with healthcare professionals, when appropriate.
Our relationship with Caremark has lasted almost two years before his recent death. Throughout that time the management team has provided excellent support and advice. The carers have treated my father-in-law with respect and their gentle approach has enabled him to make his contribution to the way his care has been administered. I cannot remember any time when my father-in-law expressed any concern or criticism of the care he was receiving.
Caremark has provided excellent service for my mum. On one occasion sitting with her after a fall until an ambulance was in attendance. They make it possible for my mum to continue to live at home. I'm happy with our choice of provider.
We are very happy with the care we receive from Caremark. They are happy to accommodate any changes we need to make The carers are kind and caring. I personally find it hard to cope with too many changes in the carers that come here.
I really like all of the girls that come to visit me. They help me with small tasks I need assistance with, as I like to stay independent. I am very happy with the service I receive from Caremark and their carers.
Caremark has been caring for me for 2 years and 1 month already. Very pleased with the service, all the staff are lovely and kind. They have helped me a lot and I am doing so well and would recommend Caremark to others who need support.
Caremark supported my ninety-six year old father with two weeks post-operative care on two occasions, and two weeks overnight care whilst he waited to go into a care home. I found Caremark to be efficient and well managed, with the manager and her team helpful and considerate of Dad's increasingly complex needs.
We are really happy with all aspects of the service provided by Caremark. My daughter loves the carers we have had in our time with the agency. We always find that Caremark and the carers are flexible with regard to times for the sits. We feel that our opinions are always taken into consideration and we are always kept informed of any changes in advance. We find everyone cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Caremark as a service provider.
