The manager and her team were always very helpful and supportive to Dad and me. My Dad had not long been diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia (under 6 months) when the manager and her team came to help. Dad had always been very independent, so having people to come in and help him - was very much out of his normal comfort zone. The manager and another staff member were always so respectful, kind and considerate, but always professional, They were also knowledgeable, always prompt and basically - all that you could wish for in terms of help for a parent. I think my Dad looked forward to their visits, they definitely made him feel comfortable, smile and laugh. The manager also gave sound advice and support to me, in terms of aiding me to help my Dad better. The manager also enabled Dad to be taken to and from the Social Days Centre he attended a few times a week, which helped him and I immensely. Thank you so much for all your past help, you made a hard journey for both Dad and I much easier than it would have otherwise been.

This is a wonderful care provider. Every carer there is so kind and patient. My parents really enjoyed their visits. They have now moved on to extra care sheltered accommodation but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would certainly recommend them.

The service provided for the care of my husband who has dementia is excellent. The evening visit is invaluable to me with his confusion and anxiety at their peak at this time. The carer who is very supportive listens to concerns, checks the house with him and gives repeated reassurance that all is well and he is safe. Advice and ordering of protective clothing aids etc to help me is also undertaken. last week automatic night lights for the hall to the bathroom were ordered and fitted by the carer. So grateful.

The manager and the team are very professional and caring, very pleased with the service. Excellent initial meeting to determine our requirements and then the follow-up and information provided was superb. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a carer for their family.

We were looking for carers to look after my mother. She had suddenly become very fragile and was housebound. Mother was deaf and wore hearing aids and her sight was severely impaired. She was unable to prepare meals for herself. The carers were able to set up a routine of two calls a day. Very soon the carers had to take on further duties i.e. giving medication and cooking lunches. Also, Mother would get very upset and confused. The carers were very good at calming her down and would often not leave until she was settled. Several times I had to call the agency and ask if they could go round to my mother's as she was distressed. All the carers treated my mother with the utmost respect. They were absolutely fantastic and I will always be grateful for their help and support.

A professional and caring service at all times. Not only did they provide my mother with the care and assistance she needed, but also friendship and chats. Sitting down at the end of their shift and watching quiz games on TV meant a lot to her. Once again, thanks for all your help.

King Homecare has been fantastic in providing me with the support I need, the carers are kind, reliable, professional, and trustworthy. Having moved homes they have helped me orientate into a new routine and given me the reassurance I have needed. I've lived with dementia for more than 7 years and they help with day-to-day support. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable service.

At first, I was quite nervous about having someone look after my mum when I wasn’t there. But then I chatted with King Homecare, and they totally reassured me. They seemed to know what I needed to ask even before I said anything. They really understand what my mum needs and take such good care of her. It's clear that King Homecare have a wealth of experience, and that alone made me feel so much better. I can't thank them enough for all their help. They make sure my mum's getting the attention she really needs, and it's made a huge difference in her daily life. Now, I'm not stressing when I can't be there because I know she's in safe hands. I can't thank King Homecare enough for everything they do.

I decided after coping with Mum's needs that I needed some support. This was put in place quickly. Mum enjoyed the change of company and thought both the carers were lovely. She enjoyed their chats. When Mum's needs changed they contacted occupational therapy to get various equipment. I felt confident in the care she received which was a huge relief.

I have been using King Homecare to assist my father who has dementia for the last six months. We have been really happy with the service. Communication with the mangers has been very responsive, they regularly update and revise any care needs and make sure my father feels included in the process. My dad has had a really good relationship with the person providing his visits and I have always been confident in the care he receives. I would not hesitate to call on them in the future for additional help during what has been a challenging time for our family. Their knowledge and patience has been much appreciated.

Action was taken at very short notice. Well organised and punctual. Care administered in a friendly and compassionate manner. it was appreciated that the same carer was arranged for each visit, ensuring there was a feeling of trust.

My wife was diagnosed with early onset dementia - frontotemporal and I have been her full-time carer for over 2 years now. King Homecare have been helping my wife for around 1 and a half years now. The care provided to my wife was genuine and of high quality. Always punctual, always informative and always planning ahead. Despite all the challenges that King Homecare faced with my wife not easily accepting the help, they persevered and always with a smile. In addition to the regular care, my wife and I benefited a lot from the great depth of experience and qualifications. I always felt that someone is carefully listening to our issues and providing good advice to our specific situations even beyond the daily care duties.

King Homecare have been an excellent provider of care for my father. They are diligent and nothing seems to be too much trouble. This extends to sitting with him in accident and emergency, when he cut his head, until 02:30 in the morning! They post update reports every day on their website and these are always detailed and informative. They maintain a proper care plan and their website always has full details of visits completed and who will be attending, for at least the next week.

I care for my mother for most of the week but as she has Alzheimer's and I felt I needed some regular respite care. Fortunately, King Homecare were able to meet my requirements and provide a crucial service. They are kind, cheerful and supportive not just to Mum but to the whole family. Communication is vitally important, especially with the joint care we have, so being able to access the portal or speak to the manager provides clarity and understanding for everyone. Whenever I need additional visits they have proved to be flexible and accommodating.

My mother is living with Alzheimer's dementia and we knew that things were changing. As a family, we had to decide that 24-hour care was required to make sure she is safe, looked after and supported in the best way possible. We knew a care home would be good for Mum but we didn't even contemplate a live-in carer in her own home. King Homecare provide this service and we honestly couldn't feel happier. We have regular reviews to ensure Mum's needs are being met. Some family members are not local so having the online portal access provides reassurance and allows open communication if and when needed. I would recommend King Homecare to anyone looking for home support. The carers are so kind, caring and professional at all times. Thank you for your advice and help!

In my experience, the team of carers was very involved with my father-in-law's needs and special requirements. They were always on time, knew their job and were very supportive. On arriving for a visit I found the house clean and tidy. During the day I noticed my mother-in-law's needs were all catered for with due care and respect. Living a distance away we do regular video calls and can log in to read the carer's notes on a daily basis which is very helpful and reassuring that Mum is being looked after. The carers also arrange and attend appointments for Mum which gives us peace of mind owing to the distance we live apart. We are so grateful for the excellent service that is provided, which enables Mum to stay in the familiar surroundings of her own home where she has resided in for the last 68 years.

We highly recommend King Homecare as a care company and we have had the best experience with them. From the time King Homecare took over the care of my father, we had an amazing personal and professional service. The director and her care team gave excellent care to my father, and had an extremely good rapport with him, especially with his slight dementia which would be challenging at times. As we live quite a distance away from my father, it was very reassuring to know that King Homecare were looking after his needs. They were very flexible in the care they gave him and were also flexible on days and times to fit him in accordingly to his needs. We had extremely good communication with the care company and they were very helpful throughout my father’s care. Thank you King Homecare, and your wonderful team.

My mother had nothing but good things to say about the agency she was using. It started with just housework and then followed on with personal care. I felt the communication between myself and the agency was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them and because we didn’t live close this was invaluable to us. I would recommend this agency to anyone looking for a package.

The carer was very diligent in her details for Mum's care plan, spending time with Mum to make sure she could provide the right level of care. It came across that the carer cares deeply for the work she does. Although she only spent a few visits with Mum before Mum sadly passed, we were very touched that the carer took time out to attend Mum's funeral. I would recommend King Homecare
