The carers are so caring and professional. Mum now calls them her friends! They always arrive on time and Mum really looks forward to the friendly chats and help she receives. It is such a weight off my and my family's shoulders knowing Mum is in such good hands. Bluebird Care is run extremely professionally, the manager is always lovely and friendly and always helps if we need to alter arrangements. The app is brilliant too.
I first used this service when my husband had Alzheimer's and then died. I met such friendly and caring people who made my life bearable. I have been treated with kindness and patience. I consider the carers to be friends. I have complete trust in them.
I chose this company for private care for my mum and I must say, I made the right choice. The customer service is outstanding, I have been so please with the service I and my mum have received, all the staff are very polite, caring and always go above and beyond. I can recommend if you need care for a loved one to please use Bluebird Care.
All staff are very professional and respectful. Aware of needs and well-trained. Will also go over and above to make clients feel comfortable. Very trustworthy and reliable, especially when we were away on holiday. Good feedback via the care app. Very flexible with hours to suit needs and can contact them at any time.
Bluebird Care started to look after my father in January 2022 and continued until his admission to hospital in November 2023. During that time, I was fortunate enough to have a core of four regular who looked after my dad's needs with the utmost respect, care, consideration, kindness and diligence. Bluebird, as a company, appear to consider the emotional and physical well-being of their clients as a priority. I Find them to be ethical, supportive, extremely reliable and honest. I am very protective of my dad and would not hesitate to raise any concerns. However, I was more than happy with the quality of the care my father received. I would recommend Bluebird Care to anyone and have done so previously.
Our relationship with Bluebird Care Chorley, Ormskirk & Leyland started when my mum needed a little help keeping on top of the cleaning and we just had 1 hour a week. Very quickly my mum started wanting them to come round to help with meal times and morning routines. My mum had a cat and all of the carers made a fuss of the cat which made my mum happy. Whether it was jobs around the house, help with care or just company when the family couldn't be there, the whole Bluebird team did it with a smile and such a caring nature. I would strongly recommend Bluebird for anyone considering a little extra help or needing more full time care, for over a year they have been a life saver for my mum and our family.
Until we had to have carers to look after my in-laws, we had no idea what this would entail and how it would be accepted. We need not have worried. The care given by our Bluebirds is just amazing. Nothing is too much for them and an hour's visit means an hour. If there is a problem they stay longer to sort it out. Caring for dementia clients can be challenging, but our Bluebirds are just wonderful. They are caring, competent and friendly. If something arises like an appointment clash with a visit time, a call to the office and times are changed; if extra help is needed it is scheduled quickly and efficiently. Both the office staff and the carers work together with us to ensure that our family gets the best care. They understand that sometimes the extended family need a listening ear too. The Bluebirds cheer my in-laws up and make them laugh. This is so important for their mental health. Exceptional staff and exceptional care. We bless the day our Bluebirds came into our lives.
I cannot offer higher superlatives than 'just fabulous' vis the care that Bluebird gave my mum for at least 6 months 2022/23. Each of the carers went above and beyond caring for her from hemming her trousers to staying late if they felt that Mum needed more support. They even bought her flowers when Mum was a bit low. Bluebird would often step in at short notice when things would sometime go awry with Mum's dementia problems. The carer was also always there to chat with and listen to me and my concerns and this would also involve weekend phone calls! I had used another agency in the past who were perhaps better known in our area however Bluebird beat them hands down with the support they offered. It was truly personal and one could tell that the carers were special as caring for older people is a true vocation. Thank you so so much Bluebird and Mum will miss you all.
I previously did a review in March 2022 regarding my wife who suffered from motor neurone disease. Sadly my wife passed away in December. From the first day we started using Bluebird Care to the day my wife passed away, they provided a small group of dedicated carers that got to know her needs so as the disease progressed each and every carer knew what her needs were. Not once was any carer ever late and on several occasions they stayed beyond their scheduled leaving time to ensure she was alright to leave, nothing was too much trouble for any of the carers When we were told that my wife had only a matter of days to live Bluebird stepped in without me even asking and the care and compassion that they provided 24 hours a day until she passed away was exceptional, to say the least and I will forever be indebted to each and every one of them. Without doubt, Bluebird Care provided carers that truly care and its management team knows what running a care company is all about.
Bluebird was recommended to us by other service users in our village, and we are so glad to have followed that advice. From the outset, the manager promised to listen, care and help in any way they could, also providing support to the family when we needed advice and someone to reassure us. The care standard provided was excellent - all the staff were gentle and friendly with my parents but also, efficient and safe. They came when they said they would and were able to provide extra visits when our family had to isolate; they were just exactly what you would hope for when trusting people to take care of loved ones. My parent's needs have moved on a stage, and they are now in full-time residential care, but I am so glad that Bluebird was there when we needed them and made staying in their own home possible for much longer than it would have been without them.
Our experience of Bluebird Care Chorley, Ormskirk & Leyland came to see us in late May of this year to assess our needs a prepare a suitable care package for us. Since then we have been very well looked after by their great team of carers and the manager. They have been very efficient, reliable, helpful and courteous and a pleasure to have in the house. When recently our daughter was unable to meet our evening needs due to having to self isolate when her son contracted Covid, they provided a main meal and bedtime cover for us immediately which gave us the essential cover which we needed and has been greatly appreciated.
The initial visit of the manager was friendly, positive and reassuring that the carers would be chosen for the client. One of 3 agencies we talked to. Having 2 carers means we have never been let down and both are sensitive to the needs of my husband. They are always early to arrive and never in a rush to leave and always treat my husband with respect. I am very pleased with the service.
