View Full Details of Priory Care Services KingstonHaving had experience with another Agency first, to take care of my dad.. who abused hus trust .. stole medication and who are infact still working. We had lost all faith in the system.. Until that is..we were assigned The Priory Care Services.. All staff a caring and kind, they don't treat my dad like a 12 year old.. they listen, are patient. My dad can be challenging at times. . This is never an issue for them. His day is always brightened by their presence.. I don't live in this country so sometimes I feel helpless.. but when I do.. I can just reach out and ask. Amd thry arenin regular contact with me also. . Amazing team. . We are lucky to have them.
Care is provided for myself. I am bed-bound and the carers are gentle when moving me and ensure that I am always made to feel comfortable. They are always happy to move me to my chair having never hurt me or put me in any extra pain. I haven't had a bad experience with any of my careers. They arrive on time with a smile on their face, which then puts a smile on my face too.
After Mum’s death, we needed immediate help for Dad. The team came to meet us and helped us prepare Dad for living by himself. The next day the staff came in and offered kindness, care and support not just to Dad, but to the family. We cannot recommend the team highly enough and thank them enormously for stepping in at such a very difficult time.
The manager and her team have been caring for a combination of my dad and my mum from Sep 2021 to Oct 2022 and I couldn't have survived this period without them. We went from part-time care visits just for my dad through to him being moved to a residential care home and then a combination of dementia / mild cognitive impairment support for my mother, through to hospitalisation for my mother and finally the death of both of my parents in the last four weeks. The manager has been like part of the family, practically on speed dial on my mobile and has been exposed to the most intimate challenges of my parent's deteriorating health conditions. I have nothing but the highest praise for her and her team and I will miss her support now that our journey is over.
Satisfactory, helpful and polite staff. I look forward to seeing them on a daily basis.
Polite and timely staff. I am kept informed of any unexpected changes to my visits. I am treated with dignity and respect and am overall very happy with the service I receive. A special thank you to the Manager.
Priory provided live-in care for my mother until she recently passed away. As well as the excellent carers and assistants who helped on a daily basis we were also very impressed with the timely and accurate feedback from Priory Management. It was also apparent how well the management looked after their staff which helped create a loving environment for my mother's final days.
Generally good with most carers, happy and helpful. The workload is sometimes heavy, especially for the carers using public transport.
Sometimes arrive earlier than scheduled/required. Always respectful. My mother would benefit I think from more direction for instance she often tends to sometimes dress/undress herself before the carers come. Mother does other things herself not really wanting or expecting to ask carers but often with unnecessary difficulty.
An excellent service provided by dedicated staff sometimes under difficult circumstances.
