We are very pleased with the home care service provided by Home Instead. They are client focused, taking time to understand our needs and agree a personalised care plan, which is reviewed regularly. The care professionals treat our family member with dignity and respect, offering companionship as well as carrying out other duties. The management team are approachable, flexible and have responded rapidly to urgent and changing requirements. We would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead as a care company.

We've been using Home Instead for about a year and are very pleased with the service. We've used both live-in care and weekly visits for my dad who has dementia, he can be quite untrusting so it was a relief to see that he seems to get on well with all the carers. The staff are always helpful and deal with our requests swiftly. Thanks!

Home Instead provided support for my wife, who has dementia, in the period when we were waiting for a room to become available in an appropriate residential home. Their initial needs assessment was very thorough and was important in determining the proper support. Each of the care workers providing the support was very professional, empathetic and engaging with my wife. I was very pleased to have the additional support to bridge the periods until my wife could enter the home.

Very good service and experienced staff. Good punctuality and a very sympathetic outlook. Very willing to assist in any way possible. Efficient booking system in operation. Good communication with monthly invoices sent allows up-to-date monitoring of payments made.

A particular member of staff and his team of wonderful carers have been looking after my dad at home over the last six months, right up to the time for him to move to hospice care. They treated him with great care, good cheer and respect, alert to his changing care needs and keeping him comfortable. The team is reliable, flexible and easy to contact when things change. Thank you all for making my dad’s last months comfortable, for enabling him to stay at home for as long as possible and for looking after my mum throughout.

Home Instead Bury St Edmund's provided twice daily care visits for my Mum after my Dad was admitted to hospital for an extended period. They were very reliable and excellent at accommodating changes in visit times due to hospital appointments. Mum had several carers covering all the visits, some of these were truly stellar and had a significant positive impact on Mum who was having a very difficult time with her health as well as Dad's.

My dad has used Home Instead now for approx 6 months, during this time he has been very happy with the service. They are reliable and friendly and the carers that visit him are only 2 or 3 different people which is nice as he gets to know them and they know what he likes. If we have had any queries, requests or changes to the service that is required the manager has got back to me very promptly, even at the weekends. We will continue to use Home Instead as this also gives peace of mind to the family that he is being well cared for when we are not able to visit.

We have used Home Instead for a few months now. My husband needed personal care following a serious illness requiring both hospital and nursing home admissions. I would have struggled on my own. We have liaised closely with different members of staff at Home Instead, resulting in my husband receiving timely and very good care throughout. The carers we have had have changed very little during this time, so there is good continuity of care. We are now very gradually reducing the input required, as my husband is slowly getting back to how he was prior to being ill. At times due to either staff absences or scheduled medical appointments, we have been able to re-organise things amicably and efficiently between us, sometimes at very short notice. The response and help received from Home Instead and in particular the director, have been reassuring and situations easily dealt with even if small compromises have been necessary at times. Thank you to all concerned.

Home Instead (Bury St Edmunds) have been really good to me. They look after me every time I come back to visit the town as I live away but still have family and friends in the county. All the staff, from the managing director to the manager and all the carers themselves, have helped to make it a smooth transition from my care received at home in another area. This means that I don't have to worry about sorting carers out each time, as the management make it easy to book and provide care each time with ease and flexibility. The level of care given is really good which enables me to have time away to visit family and friends without having to worry about how my care needs will be managed.

Since February this year, the manager and his outstanding team of carers at Home Instead, Bury St Edmunds have been looking after my mother, who suffers from the early stages of dementia. Every carer attending has demonstrated the utmost professionalism, respect and kindness to my mother, which has transformed her quality of life. She has regained her dignity and confidence, being more alert, engaged and physically healthier, which is solely due to the care she has received. We are extremely grateful to every carer from Home Instead and thoroughly recommend their services.

Our contact with Home Instead has been well managed throughout the time we have been involved. Service has been prompt and efficient. Our carer has been excellent, on time, always cheerful and interested in what my wife has been doing and what is likely in the coming week. Her two replacements when she was ill have been just as good. My wife looks forward to her coming on Friday afternoons. Nothing we have asked about has been too much trouble for Home Instead.

We have been very happy with the care Mum has received over the past 9 months. Her regular carer is very helpful and discreet, she feels like a friend to her and has been very important in helping Mum to maintain her independence at home. She has also accompanied her to medical appointments when no family member is around.

We have been really pleased with the service and care that Home Instead (Bury St Edmunds) has provided for my mother. Everyone has been helpful and friendly as well as efficient and approachable. They are quick to respond to messages and queries with a warm and flexible approach. All of the regular and reliable carers are kind and caring to my mum who was nervous and doubtful about having support initially. She now looks forward to seeing them every day and they have become a welcome addition to her daily routine.

Home Instead (Bury St Edmunds) provides a caring, efficient and praiseworthy service. They treat a very vulnerable old lady with dignity and concern. They provide her with companionship. Home Instead spare no time or thought in giving her welfare primacy. They work in harmony with neighbours, who themselves play an important role in giving succour to the wellbeing of their friends. The management of Home Instead gives immediacy to any need for medical attention and of requests made by the lady's attorneys. The management is competent in dealing with any issue, including that of a medical nature.

As a family, we feel so lucky to have found Home Instead (Bury St Edmunds). The manager and his team responded so quickly and sympathetically when we needed them at short notice. They took time to get to know my father right from the first meeting and assessed his needs accurately. They have tailored his care to meet his changing needs and have demonstrated flexibility. They have put my father at the centre of the care package using the information they have to give him a personal service. The manager keeps in touch with my brother and I, giving us up-to-date information and making suggestions to make Dad’s life easier. The level of care has been exceptional, it has given us peace of mind as we live at a distance.

Home Instead (Bury St Edmunds) have provided care for my father since the beginning of the year. It was daunting having to rely on a stranger to care for my dad. However, my initial meeting with the manager reassured me that they will treat my dad as I would. They have provided excellent care in the past four months and they are trustworthy and I would highly recommend them. The team are always available to be contacted and the use of the app is fantastic.

We only used the service for a short time, but in the time we had them come in, they were exceptional. I can not thank the staff and management enough for the help and care they gave my mum during the time we had them. Very caring staff and go above and beyond time.

Thanks to the team at Home Instead for their accommodation and flexibility of twice weekly companionship visits to my elderly aunt with dementia living in a care home. They were responsive and thoughtful and enabled a very successful placement for my aunt, in which she was the happiest I’ve known her for some years.

My mum seems alot happier having the company and flexibility that this company offers. I prefer it to any residential care home options. The management team who were/are great.
