This was restbite care with a live-in carer to allow me to have a holiday. Our carer was amazing. Dad loved her and flourished in his own home being waited on hand and foot so this was an amazing experience for us as a family and all I can say is thanks a million and say his normal daytime care team was amazing too.

My father is elderly and resides with us, we have used family support in the past to cover respite but unfortunately, that wasn't possible this year. I have used Home Instead in the past for respite with my mother who had Alzheimer's, so I am a returning user of the services. My dad was reluctant to engage and after meeting face-to-face with the Home Instead team and discussing his individual needs, a care plan was personalised to him, which left him feeling in total control of exactly what he wanted from the support. My dad presented a few challenges in the initial stages and these were dealt with brilliantly by the team and I was fully updated throughout. Once the period of support concluded my dad raved about the carers and he loved the experience, we have now booked additional periods of support in September and October and will continue to use Home Instead to support my dad at home.

My mum receives excellent care twice a week from Home Instead mainly for companionship so that she has someone who can drive her to Hairdresser, Doctor, and Dental appointments and for browsing around the shops etc. The Care Manager visited my mum at home around 6 months ago to get to know her and be able to match her up with a suitable Carer. The lady looks after my mum very well and all the other ladies who cover for her main carer are all very professional and caring too. My mum had a visit yesterday from the Support Co-ordinator who wanted to check that my mum is happy with her care which is very professional and also adds that personal touch. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for friendly, supportive first-class care. Thank you to everyone involved with my mum's care.

Home Instead provided care for my mum in her own home for almost 18 months. My mum suffered from mixed dementia and it was really important that the carers got to know my mum and my mum got to know and recognise them. Continuity of carers who were coming to visit her was also key. I live over 400 miles from her, but I had complete peace of mind that she was being well cared for and looked after. Having the information available almost immediately on the app let me see exactly what was going on, how she was feeling, how much my mum was eating and drinking, whether she had gone on an outing with the carers was completely invaluable. There were a few management changes over the 18 months or so, but it had limited impact on the care that my mum was receiving. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care.

The service was next to none and the carer was very attentive, and did what had to be done. All in all everything went fine. We would use service again if a need arises in future for any reason. Thanks again.

My mum and stepdad both received care at home from ‘Home Instead’ for a few months between 2022 - 2023. The service they received was fantastic and allowed them to continue living at home whilst providing peace of mind for myself and my family. The carers were friendly, supportive and kind. Communication with, and support from the care manager, was also first-class. Home Instead went above and beyond and was extremely professional at all times. They took time to get to know both my mum and stepdad and took a genuine interest in them as individuals as well as their care needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this service.

Home Instead started in my Dad's home in December 2022. I live abroad so needed people I could trust and rely on to look after Dad as he is my priority and I am unable to be there as much as I would like. The staff, the care and the professionalism are much higher than I anticipated. They try to match carers to clients and I have access to their app to see what is done each day to know how my dad is being cared for, brings me great peace of mind. I feel so very lucky to have found such a caring provider who offers a very personal touch rarely found in this sector. I would recommend Home Instead to friends and family without hesitation.

I contacted Home Instead looking for short-notice assistance and a staff member came out to visit my mother and I, the following day and within four days, care support was in place. The carers have been fantastic with my mother and with their support, care and companionship. Her quality of life has improved and her ability to continue to live in her lifetime home is protected. I would highly recommend Home Instead.

My family are delighted with the excellent care and companionship provided by Home Instead. As a small family, we really appreciate the peace of mind given by the care provided. Communication is frequent, and flexibility is much appreciated. The genuine care and thoughtfulness are very comforting. My dad's care is the priority, and he enjoys the company and outings with his friendly, kind carer. We are so delighted to have found Home Instead. The care manager went out of her way to find someone that would suit Dad and his interests.

Our family are delighted with the excellent care and companionship provided by Home Instead for many months now. The genuine concern for the service user and consideration and support of the client's family is outstanding. The professional and flexible approach by management is much appreciated since it enables help to be provided when most needed. I have found Home Instead to be very reliable and their communication first class.

Mum and I are extremely grateful for the support provided while I was on holiday (August and November). A friend also recommended the service to us. Staff are lovely and reliable. Social services are finally providing carers morning and night to ensure Mum is taking her meds and just to check on her but we will still be using Home Instead in the future for practical help when I am not available. This means I also have peace of mind knowing she is being assisted with her hair appointments/meals/visits.
