The staff are reliable, kind and treat my dad with utmost dignity. As a family we feel confident that he is in the best hands. The staff work with us, are responsive to requests and suggestions and put forward ideas of their own. We are very grateful to them all for the excellent care that they give.
We have been very happy with the service. The care package was set up quickly without any pressure to "pre pay". The agency was able to provide the support (7 mornings and 5 evenings) on the days/times as requested. After a month my father asked to adjust the times of care by 30 minutes in the morning and evening and this was actioned immediately. The invoice procedure is good and the invoice summary is sent out prior to the payment date so that the detail/accuracy can be checked. My parents are visited by 3 carers which have been consistent over the period of support which my parents are grateful for. All carers are excellent although my father has spoken to the agency about carers who he would like to talk to my mother more during the visit. This is a very recent occurrence so I am unable to comment on any change. On a few occasions due to the unavailability of a carer/cleaner that my parents use on some days, the agency has been able to provide cover at short notice.
Our family have found the care and support wonderful. We started care in July 2024 after many problems with previous care. Home Instead have gone above and beyond with making sure every aspect of care has been looked at, not only for mum but also the family. We feel assured that mum is happy with the arrangements that we have set up. She is content in her own familiar surroundings. She has reliable I hour visits four times a day. She only has three carers so has got to know them. Special thanks to the a member of staff who is compassionate, knowledge and extremely helpful.
I have been having support from Home Instead for months. The carer is always very kind and helpful to me. Care and support are very good and I look forward to the care professional visiting me. We have nice chats and she makes my food.
Mum suffered a stroke a couple of years ago but was reluctant to pay for any regular support after she was settled back home. After a friend recently recommended Home Instead, Mum has quickly taken to the visits and she now greatly enjoys being visited three times a week. The team are very professional, courteous and gentle with Mum. The feedback that Home Instead provides is extremely helpful. It is very reassuring to know that Mum has good, trusted company and that she is being monitored in such a caring way to ensure that she stays well and safe. Thank you to the whole team for the service provided. I highly recommend it.
We have just completed the first month of care with Home Instead for our elderly mother. Our mother is very pleased with the care providers. She already looks forward to her 2-3 weekly visits. My mother has received visits in the first month from the primary carer and a stand-in carer when the primary was unavailable. My mother got on well with both persons. The primary care took our mother out in her car for a short trip. We were delighted with this initiative. The management reply speedily and precisely to our requests via e-mail or telephone and are readily available. They also have great stringent processes in place for the set-up and on-going monitoring. Home Instead were referred to us by a family friend. We are very happy with our mother’s care.
