View Full Details of ENA Care Group LtdENA provided the utmost care you could ask for. Never late or no show, as is the case with some providers. It was a revelation to receive such care after one or two bad experiences I had previously. I can only thoroughly recommend ENA.
My mum has dementia. ENA looked after her for about six months before she went to a specialist dementia care home. All the carers were exceedingly kind, sensible, and thoughtful. The care manager, who oversaw my mum's care was exceptionally good. She supported the carers through some challenging behavior from my mum and always kept me fully informed. She took the time to listen to me at some length on many occasions and was always willing to implement my instructions. I am very happy to recommend ENA to anyone whose relative requires live-in care.
Very helpful and efficient carer. In contact by phone in the event of delays. Regular weekly data sheets, indicating times and personnel. All personnel pleasant and knowledgeable about their work.
Had a variety of girls from many different national backgrounds. All pleasant, helpful and attentive.
We are so blessed to have found these carers. They are all wonderful and lift your spirits with their kindness, care and dedication.
The carer who comes to me is always punctual and is a very pleasant person.
Overall, excellent service with kind and thoughtful carers.
I manage some of the administration associated with the care for my severely disabled son, who lives independently with the aid of live-in carers. We have used ENA Care Group for over six years now. There have been ups and downs with the quality of carers provided, but in the main my wife and I, and more importantly our son, have been happy with the care that he receives. In our experience, the care managers/coordinators are key to success and in this respect ENA have been very good. When unforeseen issues arise, as they inevitably will, these have been dealt with quickly and professionally. The documenting of the care to be provided is good and the staff seem well trained.
The care manager came to meet with my mum and me to discuss her care needs. The most important thing for me was kindness and consistency as she has Alzheimer’s Dementia. He discussed thoroughly what our needs were. He returned and introduced us to our new carer. She had recently completed her training and was keen to start work. It is hard to put into words just how amazing she has been. Mum was very reluctant to leave her flat which was hard for the family to see. The carer now has her going to church again, dementia smile club, to various coffee mornings and eating out again. When she takes her holiday ENA always ensures a smooth handover. I cannot recommend this company enough, especially our carer who has become part of our family, sharing and enjoying family days whilst caring for Mum.
I have used ENA as a care provider for over 10 years, initially to provide care for my elderly, disabled brother and, since his death 2 years ago, to provide care for me. Over that time I have met many carers. Most, particularly those from Eastern Europe, have been excellent and many have become friends. Some, however, have not been satisfactory and recently those doing short-term placements when the usual carer was on holiday, though they have done their best, have really not been up to the job. Had they been on a long-term placement I would have asked ENA to send someone more competent. When I first started using ENA I was impressed by the management, particularly the fact that someone visited regularly and checked that both the carer and the client were happy. Problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Recently however I have had minimal contact with management and I think only 2 brief visits in 2½ years.
I have been a client of ENA Care Group Ltd since 24/11/2022. I interviewed a number of agencies and settled upon ENA due to what I perceived to be a person-centred approach. Their office staff are extremely attentive and efficient. The first carer they allocated to me was/is of the highest quality and have now become a regular part of my care package. The relief carer they sent me whilst my regular person was on annual leave was terrible, however, due to me having live-in care for over a decade I am fully aware that agencies can not control the conduct of a staff member whilst out in the field. I reported my concerns to my coordinator and the relief member of staff was completely barred from returning to work on my package. ENA are extremely client focused and enable me to live my life in the way I wish to live it. This includes but is not limited to; enabling me to carry out my volunteer work, attend social events and live my life to the full. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone.
My mother required live-in care from August 2021. It didn't work out with the first carer that came to live in, however, ENA listened to feedback and we discussed my mother's requirements further. The second carer that came to look after Mum was far more suitable and remained in position caring for my mother up until her death in January 2022. Overall, my sister and I were really pleased with the communication between ENA and ourselves.
My Mum has needed live-in care since October 2015 and over this time she has had the experience of over 20 different carers looking after her. We have had an association with ENA since October 2016. The care provided has varied greatly ranging from excellent care to extremely poor care. The care provided currently is excellent. I have had to report issues to the care managers on numerous occasions but I must say that they have dealt with the issues immediately and have gone above and beyond to get the concerns and issues resolved as soon as possible. Since August 2020, we have received a very high level of service from the Care Team which has been very reassuring. The Team are always very professional, caring, and polite. The ENA Covid procedures and policy in place appear to offer good protection for their clients. I am delighted to say that the current care is excellent (provided by a very lovely lady). It gives me so much reassurance and it is nothing more than my Mum deserves.
Throughout his care from ENA, we have enjoyed friendly expertise from both management and staff. Everyone is very professional, caring and pleasant. They have met the Covid challenges with patience and good humour. The team are punctual, the management takes any concern I have on board and resolve issues quickly. They are always proactive. We feel lucky to have ENA taking care of us.
ENA supplies live-in care to me. We agreed fairer pay for carers (extra 50 hr p/w). Late 2020 found out ENA keep extra for themselves. Told two contradicting reasons and refused a refund. ENA told me to stop directing my care, accept care given as carers have worked with disabled before (we're all the same it seems), so don't need my interference. ENA said carers are not just carers, they're like family and should be treated so (until it comes to wages). Recent carers - work-shy and inexperienced. Only want to do housework and assist people (my opinion). Moaned about my stretching, so ENA stopped it as it was too much hard work. Sent email detailing the effect of physical work on the human body (patronising and insulting) to me, a paralysed person. Last phone call with the case manager, said ENA lacked carers and was unable to provide carers for two clients. Later received an email from ENA warning about the lack of carers. ENA - if I'm lying then sue me and I'll remove this review (in the unlikely chance you win).
Brilliant staff, I can't recommend this company more. A complete headache getting my dad home from hospital. For the first few weeks was ringing the team constantly but had good support, clearly knowledgeable. Things have settled now and although dad hasn't liked the idea of it, he is doing well. Much better than in a home. The carers have been great and very patient. Thank you.
I have used this company for 3 years so far and am happy with the carers I get through them. I have had ups and downs with different carers but my care co-ordinator clearly tries their best to accommodate my requests. Their carers sometimes have worked with other clients and sometimes haven't but I have found in comparison to the previous company I used, the carers I now get have much better training and I feel more supported at home. Of all the companies I have used so far, I would recommend ENA.
I have used this company on three occasions for live in care provision. The first two were fine, however, on the third occasion, I was provided with a substandard carer. I made a formal complaint to ENA, however, they considered that the care provider was fine.
I have been with the ENA Care Group for nearly 11 years and they have always provided good care and been have extremely supportive and friendly. If I did have any problems, they have been sorted out straight away with no fuss.
