The team at RV Extra Care have been absolutely wonderful , my mum was suddenly admitted to hospital with a stroke and we took on RV extra for help when she came out of hospital to care for her. The carers are fantastic , always punctual , extremely helpful and have become friends not only to mum but also to the family , they offer not only high quality care but also friendship and kindness and companionship to mum , they have always contacted me if any problems or if her pills are running low , or even if they think mum is a bit down , they have proved to be invaluable , and even though mum could maybe take care of herself now , we have still kept RV Care on , because it gives us as a family peace of mind that mum is in good hands , I would highly recommend the team at RV Extra , they are all wonderful .

We have been using R V Care since Sept 2024, when they were recommended to us, to help care and attend to the personal needs of my Father, until his passing, after he was given a terminal diagnosis after living with cancer. They also made sure that any household chores that my mother was unable to complete, due to her health issues and time constraints while caring for Dad were done. Unbeknown to us the carers were also keeping an eye on Mum to make sure she was ok and coping with the situation we were in and the management then advised us when Mum needed a bit of a break to help her cope and make sure her health didn't suffer. They have continued to care for Mum after Dad's passing, helping her personal needs and household chores including washing up, hoovering, making the bed and even putting out and bringing in the bins. All the carers are kind and sensitive. The management are friendly, helpful and provide a weekly timetable for visits for Mum. R V care give us peace of mind.

I have been very pleased with the service that my aunt has received. The people that come to her house are always helpful,efficient,professional and kind.they arrive on time and do what she requests them to do.

RV Extra Care always go above and beyond, they contact me if they have any concerns and equally I can contact them if I have any, or for any extra help and support. Their care team do what they say they do, care! I would wholeheartedly recommend them especially after the first care team we had were the complete opposite so we were all pleased to see what real care at home was.

RV were one of the agencies that the hospital recommended on Mum's discharge. We had heard of them and felt they were the ones to choose. We found them to be very efficient and Mum found the staff friendly and easy to get on with. We would definitely use them again in the future if nessassary and will definitely recommend them.

Since May of 2024 I have been in receipt of a care package provided by RV. I have found all the carers to be very conscientious in their duties, but equally important always of a bright and cheerful attitude, which makes the fact that one needs carers a lot easier. The client gets a weekly list of the carers who are going to call, and what time they will be calling and the timing is always perfect. Also, is the fact that you may change the length of time of the various visits [in my case 4 a day] Lengthened or shortened as is necessary. I feel that it is important to add that the carers are always willing to do that little bit extra in terms of just tidying up the room or just folding up a little bit of washing or something else of that nature.

Exemplary service throughout. So respectful, gentle and cheerful. My husband was a very private person but felt at ease with all the wonderful carers, he looked forward to their visits and was so grateful. I couldn't have coped without them, they reassured me at all times. Thank you so much.

RV Extra Care have been looking after my father for 10 plus years. Over those years, the carers have adapted to looking after Dad's needs. To begin with, Dad could climb stairs and slept upstairs. He was mostly Independent. Dad had MS and Dementia. My dad's wishes were to remain in his own home for as long as he could. I can honestly say without this team this wouldn't have been possible. They were skilled and able to change dad's care according to his needs. They were on top of symptoms, Dad's mood and any new needs that he required. Any changes were reported and acted on swifly and this is how Dad was able to stay at home. We were able to make changes as we heard about them. RV were great at adapting to the changes, hard working, flexible and excellent communication skills . RV became an extended family for Dad and for us when we visited. I would highly recommend them.

We feel we have struck gold with RV Extra Care. They are brilliant with my husband who is often in severe pain and has no mobility, along with other health issues. The whole team handle him with great care, respect and dignity, always cheerful and professional. We couldn't wish for better and would recommend RV to anyone.

RV care have been brilliant with my mum. The carers have all been very kind and considerate. My mum used to be a dinner lady and was so pleased when any of the staff remembered her from their school days. It is brilliant to have a local agency with local staff. This has helped tremendously with my mum who tries to be very independent. The staff are always very patient and helpful to her. I have had to change my mum's weekly rota a few times and the office have always been helpful, nothing seems too much trouble. It is a great team from management through to all the carers.

RV provided the best care possible and the carers became more than carers to my mother. They treated my mother with the respect she deserved and I had the confidence to know that even though I lived over 150 miles away, I was happy in the knowledge that she was safe and was able to support her live-in companion.

I cannot recommend RV Extra Care highly enough. My mother was looked after by the team for 12 years up to January 2024. During that time she had the highest quality of care, always professional, but also extremely kind and considerate too; I would say that she was properly embraced into their family curtilage. They never missed a beat in rain, shine, Covid or anything else. They watched over her and were always there, as my mother marched on into her 90s. She could not have lived independently without them. The team were also excellent at keeping in touch with me, her daughter, so that we could manage any changing circumstances together in what was always a very caring, supportive partnership. As Mother was briefly in the onsite care home, before she died, the RV Extra Care were there alongside her, watching over her still around their day jobs, as I scrambled to get back in time. I shall forever be grateful for all they have done for us both.

RV Care have looked after a family member for a number of years now and I have nothing but praise for all of them. Caring is not just a job, it is a vocation. You need to be a special person to be a carer. Every carer that visits shows their dedication to this role within the community. They offer physical and mental support and show great empathy. When it is not a good day, they just know and after a good chat and a few laughs, the day is better already. I can go to work knowing my sister is being professionally well cared for, but by the most caring people who are like family. Thank you to everyone at RV Care, life is so much better for all of us, with you being part of it.

RV Extra Care is an excellent care company who provide amazing care suited to the client and family situation. They looked after my mum for five years, sadly she passed away in November 2023. I lived with Mum and was her full-time carer and without the support of this team of professional, caring, adaptable team, I would not have coped. They provided care three times a day and Mum always looked forward to the visits as they became like family and good friends but always maintained a professional, kind, caring level of care. The office managers are fantastic, very easy to talk to and listen to your needs and concerns. As Mum became frailer, the care and visits were quickly adapted to provide for her changing needs, The staff are excellently trained and supported by the managers. Their attention in providing personal care for Mum was amazing, she became immobile and incontinent and she never had a sore spot on her body. I will always be grateful for the care and laughter that they brought us both.

RV Care are fabulous. Recently I have had a few mobility issues but with the support of this amazing team of people I have regained some strength which has enabled me to remain mostly independent. I have been receiving care for some years now and have achieved so much with RV. Nothing is ever too much to ask. Everyone is kind and caring and the care I receive is amazing, they always go the extra mile every time.

Without a doubt, it is the skilled and dedicated care and support provided by RV Care that enables my mother-in-law with advanced Alzheimer’s to remain in her own home. As a family we are reassured daily by the responsive and adaptable abilities of the care staff to meet my mother-in-law's needs; their communication, kindness, respect and understanding are exceptional. Having a great manager who, in our opinion, demonstrates superb leadership qualities means that RV is a slick, well-run provider of care services. We as a family count our blessings every day that RV Care is there for her and us. Thank you.

All the staff who visit my parents 3 times a day are amazing. They not only provide the care my parents need, taking the weight off my shoulders but are very friendly and hard-working. They are very reliable and I would highly recommend RV Extra Care Devon.

RV Extra Care provides all the care I need so I am able to remain in my home. They are a team of exceptional carers who offer not only the practical care I need but also offer companionship and nothing is ever too much trouble. I always look forward to their visits and the support they offer me. In my opinion, I could not receive any better care from anyone and each carer gives the same level of support, kindness and friendship. The staff who manage this team are excellent and clearly expect a high standard from the team. This shows in the wonderful carers who work for this company. Having the team in to support me enables me in my later years to still enjoy my home whilst receiving the much-needed care I need. I can't thank you all enough.

RV Extra Care in Honiton were recommended to me by an independent carer. They were able to start visiting relatively quickly and have been very reliable and efficient. It is so helpful that a fairly small group of carers are allocated to visit as this has allowed them to get to know my mother-in-law and so has made the provision of personal care a lot easier. All those that visit are really lovely people, professional, thorough, caring and kind. The management team are great too, from the very first contact and on an ongoing basis they have made the whole process very smooth, communication is good and they are very approachable. We have been using their service for 5 months now and the difference they have made to our lives is huge. As mother-in-law lives with us we previously had the stress of trying to undertake every aspect of her care whilst continuing to manage our own lives and family, but now that stress has been removed the whole situation is far more sustainable. Thank you RV Extra Care.
