Sagecare agency has been nothing but trouble from the start of my care.
I didn’t receive any care for up to three weeks at one point and I ended
up having a fall in the shower, I am wheelchair-bound. I ended up with a
plaster cast on my leg, fractured a bone in my foot and a small rupture
on my tendon. They didn’t give my key code to access the key to enter my
home. Carers hammering at my door between 7-11 am in the morning. Also,
they never told any of the care staff any of my medical problems. I
asked the last lady who came if she knew what to do if I was having one
of my bad fits, she told me that she would have no idea, she had only
been working for them for three weeks. I was not feeling confident with
the care or most of the carers they sent, they never informed their team
to any of the medical problems or conditions I had. I did not feel safe.
This agency should be reviewed, looked into, the people who ran the
office do not inform the care staff with information that could save a life!
