View Full Details of Agincare Bridport (Home Care & Live-in Care)Carers are very caring, and take the time and effort to chat to Eugene . They also are very respectful of his wishes. Time keeping is very good also so glad we changed to using them from a previous company
I am happy with the care provided. Nearly all of the carers are kind, considerate and helpful. Most of them at the time agreed. I mention the exception because my mornings are busy and although I'm ready by 8.00am, it is inconvenient if a carer arrives 25mins. early. Your office staff are always pleasant and helpful, and always arrange a carer to visit, even if I ask for their help at short notice.
Excellent and totally reliable service. Cannot fault it. Carers are thoughtful, reliable, courteous and really helpful. I don't know how I managed without them, More than happy to recommend Agincare - meets all my needs.
We have had great service from Agincare. Carers and Management have gone out of their way to give Mum just the right kind of care. I feel we have built a strong trusting relationship and am very thankful.
A carer comes once a week for an hour to help me give my husband a shower. I am informed the previous week who to expect next week, the carers who come are always friendly, patient and helpful. Having a carer here at that time gives me reassurance that my husband will be safe during this time - he is frail and finds getting in and out of the bath to have his shower is quite difficult. Although he does not always want to have the shower, he always says afterwards that he feels better and thanks the carers. This care has been provided for the past 18 months.
We have always been very happy with the care the client receives from Agincare. It can be difficult at times to keep the client happy because of their situation but I have found Agincare staff to always be exceptionally helpful
It's not been easy the last Months I really appreciate the support that all the staff give me often going over and above to help me with my brother's condition helping him maintain a normal life as possible
I am very satisfied the carers are always polite and we discuss things about how I am coping and if I am struggling they will help I am very pleased with the care I am getting they understand I am struggling more.
I have had several carers visit during June while my wife has been recovering from a hip replacement. All have been friendly and polite and have been helpful to us. My condition (paraplegia) has made some aspects of my care more difficult and to be honest the carers have managed to different degrees. All have done their best but clearly prior experience and physical capability have been an issue. Since my care is only required for a relatively short period it would be unreasonable to expect the same degree of expertise from each of them. I am sure that if I was seeking a permanent care package the most suitable carers would be found. The team at the Bridport office has been unfailingly helpful and friendly.
The main two careers we have are both amazing with my husband. I'm very grateful to them both for what they do one member of staff is so kind patient and excellent and always goes above and beyond with my husband and helps him to top guy in the way he is with him. My husband can be a grump at times. Another carer who comes is also amazing too we are very lucky with both of them.
I have been delighted with the excellent care provided by the lovely lady who looked after my husband whilst I was away from home. He appeared to be happy with her company on her two visits and I hope she will be available on future occasions.
The main carer who comes to our home goes above and beyond what is expected of her. She is a real treasure. She keeps an eye on Mum's difficult diet and is always able to cheer her up. We really appreciate her hard work.
Overall standards are very good and all in Agincare work to ensure the best possible outcomes for their clients. My son has been with Agincare for many years and is probably one of their longest-served clients.
The manager is always approachable and easy to communicate with. She listens to any concerns that I may have and also deals with any of these concerns promptly. Care for my father in general is good, and I am satisfied with the support that he receives. However, there are also a few carers who do not take the role very seriously. They do not appear to be team players. Often leaving tasks for the next carer to complete rather than doing them themselves, in the time allocated for them to do so. It’s important to note that there are some amazing carers who carry this extra load, and do not complain at all.
All the staff are very friendly, some carers more reserved than others, which I think is partly due to being less experienced in the caring profession. Everyone is polite, caring, and efficient and puts my husband at ease. We have also had lots of laughs and jokes. Management has always found and provided carers, even at very short notice.
Good service overall - some exceptionally thorough, kind and diligent carers who go above and beyond, and some who seem to do the bare minimum. We are very lucky to have the same regular carers as sometimes, new carers aren't well briefed. The service is very reliable (don't think they've ever not turned up) and the team are responsive to requests. Friendly and helpful, so happy overall.
They go on social media sites etc when at the house. The care company has good and bad points. Most carers are excellent with my mum, however, there are timing and staff issues that persistently occur. I do not agree with family members working too closely together and the management really do need to be more efficient and follow up enquiries and complaints competently. Also all carers should not use their personal phones for browsing personal social media etc.
Good care, not always on time.
I have been with Agincare UK Bridport for a short while. I find the team very helpful and caring to suit my needs.
Too many inexperienced care workers and school leavers.
