View Full Details of Angels Care Management Services LtdI was apprehensive before the first carer arrived, but was soon put at ease by her pleasantness, understanding and competence. This applied to all who visited me. Thank you for the excellent service.
Angels have supported my elderly parent in the last 3-4 years of their life. They have been easy to contact and able to flex their schedules easily when we needed to alter the pattern of visits for bank holidays etc. There have been two regular carers both of whom have been pleasant and helpful. If there ever were any problems or concerns when my parent was seen I was always contacted to take further action as needed.
My mother and I would like to thank Angels for their continuing care. My mother is treated as an individual, with respect by a lovely friendly team. As care needs have become more complicated my mum and I have received wonderful advice and care from an experienced Angels team. I work with the carers and also the management team to ensure Mum gets the best of care. I think communication has been very good so Angels' management, carers and myself have worked well with the GP, the pharmacists, the district nurses, the occupational therapists, the speech therapists and the organisation who have provided the necessary equipment so we can look after Mum at home. Mum is doing very well and enjoying life. Thank you to Angels for their part in Mum's continuing care.
The overall standard is good. On rare occasions, the performance of the Angel who comes falls below that of the others. We are generally very satisfied with what you are providing.
Angels initially provided help with bathing for my 96-year-old mum-in-law, but lately, she has needed more help as her mobility has decreased. Angels have been a lifesaver for us as we are not nearby. They have been approachable, accommodating, obliging and very kind.
My wife receives compassionate care from carers who are reliable and helpful. Any problems with the care package are dealt with by the management.
Following a spell in hospital after a fall, it was organised for the Angels Carers to come and help my 94-year-old mum. This was mainly in respect of helping her with meals, as due to poor mobility, she now struggles with this herself. All of the angels are lovely and Mum enjoyed seeing them as it broke the monotony of a long day alone. Everyone has been really helpful and approachable and helped immensely after a challenging time. Should Mum need further assistance, going forward, she says she would be happy for me to contact Angels Care Services again on her behalf.
Angels provided care at home for my elderly aunt for approx three years. They adapted to her needs increasing care as necessary. They provided excellent continuity, one carer for most visits who was fantastic. She has a really good relationship with her and went above and beyond to improve the quality of my aunt's life, often in difficult circumstances. Communication with the carer, admin staff and manager was always available and helpful.
Very good care of myself and my home. They came in and got on with showering me and drying me. No messing about or standing talking or wasting time, which is exactly what I wanted, so I was able to get on with my day. All staff are polite and very sociable. Many thanks to all staff involved with my care - they were all great.
The staff are kind and caring, though some try to rush my husband when getting him up. I have explained that he needs a few minutes to sit on the side of the bed because of his blood pressure falling. He is allowed 30-45 minutes for the call which allows him to do something independently with support. Some of the calls have been very late and he has been having breakfast at mid-day. The agreement was for the time of the call between 10-11 am with a little flexibility to allow for emergencies, but lunchtime is too late to be having his first drink and food. We have had some really good carers and have been pleased with their attitude towards my husband, but have had too many. We need regular people so that I don't have to sue my valuable time explaining and supervising the visits as I also care for our disabled daughter.
I am very confident with the care offered to my wife by Angels. It is a well-organised service with a very approachable management team. It is clearly important that I feel my wife is getting the best service, and so keep a sharp eye on Angels' activities, so far they have carried out their duties professionally and diligently. Even through the covid crisis, their service was excellent, I have no problems with the service that is offered and the quality of staff employed to deliver it. I think it important to mention that the whole service is managed and directed by the manager, and she needs to be complimented on the direction she takes the service in.
My father has many needs and can on occasions, be quite difficult, resulting in previous carers stopping attending. Since we moved to Angels, his house is cleaner and he is being cared for as I would always have expected. If you are in the area and considering a cleaner or carer then you must try Angels.
Without the care from Angels, my father-in-law wouldn't have been able to access the medication he needed without attending the hospital almost daily! Suffering with several conditions, this would have caused him a lot of anxiety and confusion, exacerbated by the restraints of COVID. With the help and support from this lovely caring team, he was able to stay safely at home and soon happily referred to them as his Angels as he got to know them all! Regular updates between us, his family, the manager, and all her team, helped keep him safe and concerns regarding his medication were reported promptly to his family! Equally any concerns from his family were addressed and acted on promptly! Where possible, the same group of regular carers visited, but new carers were kept updated with changes to medication, etc and any concerns were communicated promptly. Thank you so much all of you for the last 16 months!
We could not have wished for better care for our mum. They respected her dignity and all the carers became her friends. If they had any concerns they always contacted us immediately. A big thank you to Angels.
We cannot thank Angels Care enough for the kindness and respect and first-class care that enabled my father-in-law to remain in his house up to the end. In this time of cuts to care, the carers did not falter. They went above and beyond the care which they gave freely. I hope that this care company lasts forever.
We were very pleased with the care that my brother-in-law received from Angels. It gave us peace of mind to know that he was so well looked after that he could continue living an independent life in his house. Thank you so much for your help and kindness in supporting him and his family over the last year.
Without the care and amazing support of Angels, it would not have been possible to keep our much-loved relative in her own home for as long as this was achieved. The ongoing responses to the changing needs, the time given and the flexible, caring approach were hugely appreciated. The Manager was extremely attentive and supportive and her staff provided excellent care and frequently liaised with me regarding any issues or concerns. We value all that was done and want to take this opportunity to thank all involved in supporting and caring for a very special lady.
Mum had been a long time client of Angels (well over 8 years). Over time the care needed escalated and Angels were there every step of the way. Mum had a core of key carers whom I know she had made good friends with and trusted totally. Without Angels and their professionalism Mum would not have been able to maintain her independence and remain living at home, as per her final wishes. The entire family had total confidence in the whole care team and cannot thank them enough for helping us to fulfil Mum's wish to remain living at home. Many thanks to everyone in the team.
Angels have been a saviour to me in caring for mum who is 87 and has dementia. After a previous disaster with an agency, I was nervous to take on a new one but the staff have without exception been terrific. They treat mum with great care and dignity, they are interested in her and will go out of their way to make her happy. Living overseas myself, this gives me great peace of mind to leave mum alone, knowing she will be well looked after. I highly recommend and thank the staff for their care.
A very friendly reliable service. Just what we needed to ensure Mum living on her own at the age of 96, was being expertly supervised. It was particularly impressive that the care was seamlessly maintained throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
