We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful team at Barnfield Homecare and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other people looking for a care provider. All of the carers are kind, caring and compassionate and treat Mum with dignity and respect. The manager and the care coordinator in the office are very responsive and have been able to accommodate our frequent changes and requests, sometimes with very short notice. We would not be able to keep Mum at home without the support of the amazing Barnfield team.

From the moment Barnfield Homecare took over my mother-in-law's care, we have had peace of mind. We are so grateful for the caring way all the ladies who visit Mom during the day have treated her. She is looking so much better. She is well fed and they ensure her clothes are clean and tidy. They also leave the kitchen spotlessly clean and tidy. They have even been known to vacuum if they feel it necessary. A wonderful service which we all very much appreciate. Thank you.

Barnfield Homecare has looked after my parents for several years now. The team are excellent, caring, trustworthy and go the extra mile for my parents' personal care. I do not live near to my parents and it is reassuring to know they are getting the best care. It is like having my own family looking after them. My parents are very much housebound and it is lovely to hear the cheer and laughter the team bring them every day. I would highly recommend Barnfield Homecare.

Barnfield Care have been helping my mother each morning and evening for over a month now. The staff have shown such kindness and care and are totally professional. They engage with my mum and have made a real effort to get to know her, and they are observant of any changes and they inform my dad if he needs to mention something to the district nurses. I cannot recommend Barnfield highly enough.

Communication is excellent, from messages and phone calls from carers and management to comprehensive notes left for our review. Great attention to detail, especially checking medications and recommending samples when infections are suspected. All carers have been very attentive and go the extra mile to make sure my mother-in-law is cared for and happy. Highly recommend.

We have just moved to Barnfield Homecare and are absolutely delighted with the quality of care, communication and overall management. All carers are genuine and hard-working and are happy to go the extra mile. We are kept up to date immediately if there is a problem and they all have a pro-active approach to maintaining and improving the quality of life for my disabled mother.

The manager and her team have been instrumental in providing long-term and end-of-life care to my mother, who’d had a rare, complex and entirely debilitating illness. During Covid, they managed to keep our support bubble safe and tight. They have also showed understanding of my mum’s needs and endeavoured to provide experienced and suitable carers when she really needed them.

We have been using Barnfield Homecare since 11th April 2023. The client has had excellent care from all the staff. They support my wife as well, it gives my wife a break. All staff are very pleasant, and work hard.

We are delighted with the service we have received from Barnfield Homecare. The carers are helpful, kind and polite. Initially, there were a few problems with my catheter (and setting up the night bag) but these are all now sorted. We would be happy to recommend Barnfield to new clients. For reasons already explained, we are quite anxious to switch to a later evening time slot as soon as an opportunity allows.

Professional and caring in a friendly way while dealing with clients, who can be quite difficult. Carer has a listening ear and observant eyes which makes for a good relationship. Barnfield care is a truly caring care agency, not only for the client but for the whole family.

I have been very pleased with the service received for my mom. The only thing that did stand out was when mom had single caregivers the time would clash, as in time for meals we one incident where one carer came in for dinner and the t-time carer came in as the dinner time carer left

My mum has mixed dementia and lives with her husband who is unsupportive and does not care for her. We brought in Barnfield Homecare in June 2023 after being referred by the Social Services safeguarding team and it was the best thing that could have happened for my mum. The care coordinator has gone over and above every step of the way. She has communicated amazingly well with me and kept me up to date with any issues that needed to be resolved. She has liaised with other agencies including Social Services to ensure my mum is safe and as well cared for as possible. The carers are, without exception, wonderfully patient and make my mum feel valued as a person and ensure her wishes are catered to. They guide her to make her own choices enabling her to be as independent as possible and maintaining her dignity. She thinks of the carers as her friends who pop around. I cannot recommend Barnfield Homecare highly enough. They care for my mum as a person and not just a client.

All are satisfactory at the moment but would like earlier calls if possible. Any concerns raised have been dealt with in the correct way and has been given feedback in response to any concerns I have had.

After a short stay in hospital and three weeks in a care home (which Mum did not like), we contacted Barnfield Homecare to arrange live-in care. This has been excellent and the best care we could get for Mum. An excellent service and I can’t thank them enough.

My sister and I wanted our dad to spend his last few weeks in his own home with his faithful dog beside him. After doing some research we chose Barnfield Homecare to make that happen for us. Our Dad received 24/7 coverage via a live-in carer with support from other carers and nurses. Our dad's health quickly deteriorated and the care team were fast to respond to the changes to ensure Dad did not suffer. My sister and I have no hesitation in recommending Barnfield Homecare.

I used Barnfield Homecare after returning home from the hospital quite incapacitated. Friendly, experienced carers who helped me as I needed them and stood back to let me gradually recover my independence. The agency is approachable and efficient and their costs are competitive. The carers seem to find them to be good employers, which impressed me. I experienced just the care I needed and would certainly use Barnfield again.

Lovely friendly carers who treat my mum with respect and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They go above and beyond what they need to do and are part of the family. Mum is very fond of them all.
