Management responsive to any request. Schedule always provided ahead of visits. Care staff obviously been trained attentive to person being cared for.
Really great service. The carers are always friendly and they do an exceptional job. My wife and I have seen our lives substantially improve since signing on.
My contact with carers has been satisfactory. Despite my age, I prefer to look after myself as much as I can. Without practical help I would find it difficult or impossible to manage. However, one occasion, the company has sent somebody that should have been employed with this type of work however that's care. Mostly, the staff are kind and considerate.
Everything is going fine - no issues or concerns. All carers are most helpful.
I have had care from Bluebird Care for a year now and have found it very satisfactory. I'm very independent and didn't think I needed help - yet - but my son and daughter-in-law were insistent that I at least tried it. I have been pleasantly surprised that I find it very helpful and have a very thoughtful, helpful and cheerful carer. I can see that when I need more care I will be happy to ask for more assistance.

We are very grateful to Bluebird Care for providing support quickly for our elderly friend. They were and are very quick to respond to emails and the initial process to set up was very thorough but also timely. I have had to call the office on one occasion out of hours and found staff very responsive. The care staff are great, proactive and flexible to our friend's changing needs. Having one main carer who knows our friend well also helps. We just started care several weeks ago but so far, have nothing but praise for the carers and the service.
Bluebird Care has been excellent in supporting my mum who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Their care gives the family peace of mind. She sees the same carer once a week. Mum really enjoys the carer's visits and enjoys a coffee and a chat. The carer will also turn her hand to anything Mum needs done and will assist with a hair wash/shower etc. The family have decided to increase Mum's visits so that more household duties could be completed. This means our time with Mum is "quality time" and we can take her out and do the "fun" things! Any communication I have had with the supervisor and the coordinator at Bluebird have been excellent. The support is appreciated so much and makes a huge difference to me. Five stars all round!
I found Bluebird Care listened well to the care I judged was needed. They were responsive and remarkably flexible about meeting our particular needs. The carer they provided was courteous and looked after us - as well as our mother. I don’t think the family could have done what we did without the professional support and expertise of Bluebird. They are very client-centred.
Having been a customer with this company for over 12 years I have seen it grow but still manage to continue to supply a high standard of care without losing the basics of understanding of what’s important.
Got matched for support very quickly. We have 2 x 1 hour companionship visits to allow me to have some respite time. All of the carers have been very kind, caring and considerate. Built up very good rapport with all carers quickly. Generally have 2/3 regular carers. Very happy to leave my partner in their care. The support from the office is also very good. Timely phone calls if there needs to be any changes to agreed arrangements.
Extremely poor service recently. Left a message for a carer not to call yesterday but still turned up. Very inconvenient and poorly managed company (at least here in Edinburgh). I was aghast at how poorly their care has been for my mother. They only seem to be interested in money rather than service.
We find the carers to be kind and compassionate to my mother’s requirements. We normally get the same professional team. The managers also keep in touch with me regularly to advise what is happening with the service they are providing.
I am very grateful for the care we receive from Bluebird Care without whom my father would not have been discharged from the hospital. It is good to have him home and in the good hands of capable carers to bathe, dress and attend to his catheter. Thank you.
I can honestly say my mum's carers have been amazing. They have built up a good relationship and tend to her every need! They are reliable and compassionate and although my mum was reluctant at first, she wouldn't be without them now.
Bluebird Care was a godsend when they started with my aunt during the first lockdown in 2020. They have provided excellent service and excellent carers with some going above and beyond the call of duty for my aunt. The app was a great communication link to keep up to date with the day-to-day care notes. Having been through some difficult and challenging times, Bluebird did their utmost to keep us informed and to seek alternative solutions with staff shortages due to the Pandemic. Sadly, my aunt now needs a nursing care home solution as staying at home is no longer possible for her. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird Care to anyone looking for a private care at home solution.
My brother was well cared for by Bluebird Agency. There was a brief spell when things didn’t work so well, but this was quickly dealt with and resolved. The carers were very caring and looked after him very well. The flat was kept very tidy and my brother always looked very smart and happy. As his health deteriorated, the carers were able to give him the support he needed. The carers also visited him in hospital, which he really appreciated.
I have been delighted to see first-hand how friendly, attentive and unflappable the various carers are, who are looking after my elderly parent on a daily basis. Their recovery from some recent ailments is no doubt in part due to the careful and skilful work of the Bluebird carers, who also keep my parent's spirits up.
Everyone I’ve dealt with at Bluebird has been warm, polite and helpful. Getting care set up for my mother was made as easy as possible, with home visits to assess her carried out sensitively. My mother has benefitted greatly from her care package. She enjoys the chat she has with the carers as much as the support they give. Every care has been taken to ensure my mother is comfortable and happy with the service.
