View Full Details of Caremark Redcar & ClevelandEverybody is very nice and I feel looked after. I enjoy doing activities with all the staff. I really like having the dogs, it is special. People listen if I want to talk to somebody. They listen if I feel poorly and look after me. Everybody has looked after me following my stay in hospital. The carers helping to shower me following my operation have been kind. I'm very happy with everybody.
I feel like I am supported by management team and staff are very supportive and help me a lot. I feel like I am always listened to and when I did my review I asked for day visits and to go to safe place every week and they were completed.
I am very pleased with the care and support my brother receives. All his needs are met with professionalism and compassion, ensuring he is comfortable and well looked after. It is reassuring to see him happy and settled in a supportive and nurturing environment. The staff are attentive, caring, and dedicated, always ensuring his well-being. I truly appreciate the excellent service provided. Thank you.
I find Caremark Redcar & Cleveland a fantastic company, who keeps us up to date if any changes are required. I find the care workers very easy to speak to regarding the care of my mother. Caremark have gone above and beyond with the activity days my mother attends on Wednesdays and Thursdays. My mother always seems happy, well-presented and cared for by Caremark.
Caremark under the managing director are excellent and all of her staff are wonderful, caring and very friendly. I am glad I first met two people in a care home in the area and we then contacted Caremark, which was a very good move.
Needing more care and support, I liaised with social services on help, and also I'm new to the are. I've found Caremark carers are just that, a mark of good caring, on whichever role or task at hand. Having done care work in the past, it is evident I'm blessed to receive good care, with smart attire and good attitude too. Thank you.
We got this company in to support a family member who had to be moved 500 miles away due to financial abuse from a private carer, she moved in with me and my young family, she did not want care staff due to not trusting anyone, I work full time so we needed care staff in, we did go with another company before this one, feeling uneasy at times when my children are about, my great aunt even asked for cameras in her room. they kept letting us down and then called to say the call was terminated, so we ended up going with this company, my children are very comfortable and love seeing the same care staff and my auntie loves them and not asked for cameras again which is great. I feel like they support my great auntie and will spend time with her talking and calls are not rushed, I feel the staff are well trained, supportive and very very caring, I would recommend this company to anyone, great job guys keep it up. Talking to staff I feel that they are respected by the company and looked after.
I could never have got my husband home from respite without Caremark. I have four main carers that look after my husband, they are kind and respectful. I don't know where I would be without them, they support me in looking after my husband, from personal care transfers. Without this, my husband would have to go into 24-hour care. I want to thank them so much for the care they give and they also arrive with a smile on their faces which makes our day. Excellent service from supervisors and management to keeping me up to date in all we need to know.
I am quite happy with the care I receive. I like to be as independent as possible so I like to wash and dress myself and as far as I can, prepare my breakfast and lunch, I have usually run out of steam by around 3 pm so my carers serve a light tea. They are all most kind and pleasant and I enjoy the company of both older and younger carers, they keep me on my toes with their take on life so my days are usually interesting.
Generally happy with my care. Staff are helpful and caring and usually turn up on time. I am treated with dignity and respect and it’s nice to chat to them. I feel the management staff should do more to ensure that I am introduced to new carers as it is very daunting to have them just turn up to do personal care when I’ve never met them. I have asked for introductions numerous times and they have failed to do this. I would also like to be informed of any changes on my rota such as the call time or which carer is coming.
Caremark carers, supervisors and office staff are brilliant. I couldn't manage without their kindness and professionalism. I have a mealtime call at 11.15 am, the perfect time for me. Freshly cooked meals with plenty of vegetables, fresh fish, pasta and chilli make my life very enjoyable. One carer, in particular, goes out of her way to find delicious recipes for sauces etc. online. This is above and beyond expectations. I also have a weekly domestic call for housework and a range of tasks. Very useful. The supervisors are kind and compassionate. The office staff are lovely! Always interested and glad to hear from me by phone or email. I recently needed to add an evening medication call following surgery. The staff member who arranges the rota rang social services for me and it was all sorted out that afternoon. Most importantly, my carers are bright, cheerful and know me well as an individual. I feel liked, valued and useful. We have great conversations and this means a great deal to me.
I have carers coming to me four times a day and I have a bath call on a Tuesday. I don’t know where I would be without Caremark, especially my bath call. I am a private person with certain things and the carers understand and respect my wishes. If it wasn’t for my carers coming in to do my meals and administer my medication it might be days before I see anyone. The carers take me to my appointments as my family live away and it’s one less thing for them to worry about. Being a carer is a necessary job which is done well by all of the staff of Caremark. All carers need to be kind and caring and aware of clients' needs, no matter what the weather is like they are there for you. Which every carer I have from Caremark does. Sometimes I don’t know where I’d be without Caremark.
Caremark looked after my mother for approx 3 years we had good and very poor care. On occasions, safeguards were put in place by our social worker. My mother suffered from two forms of dementia and on numerous occasions, we had a carer who after her call would forget to lock the door, I was visiting my mother when she came on a routine call. I started chatting to her and she admitted she suffered from short-term memory loss. Notifying Caremark by email and expressing my concerns. They initially fell on deaf ears due to a staffing shortage until the company and her parted ways. My mother started going to a day centre 5 days a week but when it closed for Christmas, carers were going in 5 times a day. In January my mother took ill and went into A and E she was severely dehydrated, got an infection and passed away on 6th February. I emailed Caremark 7th of February. As of Today 7th March I haven’t received any recognition at all, my mother was only a number and nothing else, shocking behaviour.
My mother's medical condition is not apparent at first. This seems to be overlooked by some carers who lack experience and think that she is just an easy/quick visit and they do the bare minimum. Also, conversation is vastly underrated. On the plus side, there are some very dedicated carers who take the time to get to know their patients and really make a difference.
We have always been treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism by the carers and management alike. The management is always willing to help and quickly sort anything you ask of them, and the carers themselves do the same.
Friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble. Staff are very courteous and polite just got to ask for anything and they are very helpful. Would certainly recommend using Caremark for anybody. They always turn up on time.
Because of my health problems, Caremark kindly comes and cleans my bungalow for me once a fortnight, and every time, they do a fabulous job for me. I really couldn’t cope without all their help. All the staff are so very kind and caring.
Mum was in the hospital for a while, but since coming out, the care has been very good, and Mum says it is good. I can see the notes so I can leave messages if there is anything for carers to know. I will be contacted if there are any questions about Mum or if anything happens. The communication is good.
Couldn't manage without Caremark. All the staff are lovely, so friendly, trustworthy and kind. They help me so much to see to my needs fully. I look forward to them coming. They go above and beyond and always ask if there's anything else they can do. They are always cheerful and lift my mood. I have no worries about communication with supervisors or office staff as they are very approachable and always helpful. Can't recommend Caremark enough.
My dad has been attending the Caremark day sessions at a local football club. He's really enjoyed himself at these sessions - particularly with the carers who have been very attentive to his needs and have done their very best to make him smile.
