View Full Details of Caremark Southend and RochfordMy mother is very pleased with the care company who are reliable, polite and always willing to help her if in trouble. I myself am satisfied with the excellent care which is given.
Caremark (Southend and Rochford) give reliable and helpful care to my mum. All of the staff are friendly and kind. The carers, supervisors and management work well as a team, communicating well and responding promptly to any concerns or changes in care needs.
My mother returned home after three months in a care home recovering from a fall. She used your service last year and was happy to see the girls again. I know if they have any concerns, they will call me. We both have peace of mind. The office staff are wonderful as well.
Today and every weekday I had two half-hour visits and a lovely chat and lunch left out and two cups of tea. The staff are all so lovely, tidy and sweep if needed and hang washing out. The office ring a weekly courtesy call had a little chat also. My husband is happier knowing I have these visits and not alone all day.
Very reassuring to have a carer call each morning to make my breakfast and to shop for me, especially since I am now a widow living alone with very few family visits.
I have received excellent care for my Aunt over the past five years by the team of Caremark.
Our family have always been pleased with the care and support from Caremark carers given to our farther. During this pandemic, while it's been difficult to visit, they have been even more supportive. The support our father with all aspects of daily living not only personal care but his meal preparations, shopping, laundry and housework. He looks forward to each visit and is so pleased that through them he can remain living in his own home, which has always been his wish and this would not be possible without them. They keep us updated and let us know of any concerns or issues.
We are very pleased with the service Caremark provide. They contact my son if anything is wrong and go out of their way to help with all the little things. The staff are well trained and friendly. I have recommended Caremark to others.
Caremark's turn over of staff is horrendous. I still get many different carers coming. Just get used to a carer and then they are moved or leave. It is important to me, that my carer gets to know me so that they know when I have my good days and when I have bad days.
The staff are always friendly and chatty. Very willing to assist mum if she needs it. Mum is quite happy and looks forward to the visits.
Very good.
Totally new territory for us so we were unsure of what care we could receive for my dad with early dementia. We were guided and helped when the initial assessment took place, and the care started almost immediately. My dad can be stubborn but the carers were patient and soon gained his trust and he enjoys seeing them twice daily. Any problems were resolved quickly as things cropped up, and we are informed immediately if anything is wrong. A visit diary is kept in the home so we can always see how visits with the carers are going. They help with everything from making his breakfast to helping him into bed at night and they are all very kind and thoughtful with the little things which make his independent living possible. I highly recommend this company, it has made an immense difference to all of us as we are no longer under pressure and feeling stressed, and Dad is happier in a proper routine. Five Stars!
I have found Caremark very reliable and caring all the time they have been looking after my wife whilst I have a few hours respite each week. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I can relax while I am out. Keep up the good work.
I am so pleased they can cope with my requirements.
I have been very impressed with the level of care provided by Caremark. I am particularly pleased with the office staff behind the scenes that have worked with me to provide changing levels of care as my father's health has varied over the last few months. I would feel comfortable to recommend Caremark's services based on my experience, to anyone that has struggled with caring for an elderly friend or relative.
Management always courteous and will always try to accommodate extra hours requests. Carers are lovely and well trained. I have been with this agency for some years and they are well worth taking this time to complete the review.
A few hiccups but nothing untoward. Timekeeping is generally very good and staff are friendly and helpful.
My mother-in-law has only been a Monday – Friday client for a few months and was initially very anxious about having “strangers” come in to “look after her”. At the time she was in something of a downward spiral. However, within a matter of weeks, she was won over and looking forward to the carers visiting - wondering where they were at weekends. The carers are kind and understanding, taking their time to explain things and talk to her about her family, especially the great grandchildren. When it comes to practical matters, e.g. preparing meals, they encourage her to make decisions and help in the preparation. This is important as it keeps her interested while helping her to retain a degree of independence and dignity (as much as a stroke will allow). The family is grateful for Caremark’s input and while they know Mum / Nan will never improve they know she is a lot happier due to Caremark’s professional and personal service.
Our regular carer for my husband is always punctual, happy and very caring. She attends my husband's needs twice a week, ie showering. Which helps me out as this could be very stressful as he and I are elderly and he has special needs as he had a stroke 3 years ago, Alzheimers and diabetes. He has NHS nurses attend for his diabetes and 3 different carers when our regular carer was on holiday and they were equally caring.
A good service. In general, calls are all at usual times. My wife is treated with compassion and dignity. My wife also has built relationships with her regular carers.
