View Full Details of Caremark PulboroughI have been delighted with the hour long company 3 times per week from Caremark. We find a great deal in common to talk about so that the hour passes very quickly.
The carers who come to me in the morning and evening are wonderful people without exception. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Their attitudes are pleasant and friendly. I enjoy their company when they are here.
We have been very happy with the care given by the Caremark Pullborough branch. The staff are always friendly and trustworthy. We had two regular girls, which are very understanding of my husband's condition. They have given us so much support and care. We would be happy to recommend Caremark.
I have always received excellent service, all the staff are kind and friendly. They always willing to tell me if I am not doing things correctly which is very helpful. I would highly recommend this service to anyone needing support. Thank you.
I like the response to change. Carers are punctual. Some carers have not yet won my wife over.
Your carers are on the whole good, some need more training on how to talk and treat a patient with dementia. Some personal care i.e teeth and shaving get forgotten. Timings over a week can vary up to 2 and a half hours difference. This makes life at home difficult when medication with food has to be given. I emailed one staff member in particular back in February 2024 with my concerns. My husband gets very confused when timings are so different from one day to the next. I have had to call the office back on more than one occasion to get an answer to requests.
Very happy with Caremark - they've enabled mum to stay at home.
All is running very well with all but one carer.
It took a time but they got all the things we required. My mum is very fussy, but Caremark satisfied her needs are are always willing to change if required. Keeping the same team visiting Mum is most important and they have achieved that need.
Excellent care and service from regular carer. Client likes and welcomes this carer, but is not so happy with occasional carers. Occasional carers do not always understand client's needs or condition, so are put off when client says they are find and don't need anything. Regular carer knows how to get round this. Communication from office to carers is not always satisfactory e.g informing them there are cameras in the house. Turnover of staff can cause some issues.
We have used Caremark for the past 3 and a half years to care for my husband 4 times per day. In that time I have been pleased with the standard of care given. Our carers know my husband well and are attentive to his complex needs. Recent changes to weekend and bank holiday pricing could become prohibitive in the future.
On the whole, I am pleased with the care service that I receive. It does occasionally go wrong but that comes with the territory people do go side or have holidays and I accept that as long as I am informed of changes, things happen that are outside of the office's control. So they are not to blame this is not a criticism of the service you provide.
All the carers are very helpful and pleasant. Always jolly and in a good mood and ready for a laugh. They brighten my day.
Caremark has been extremely helpful and supportive and has provided us with some lovely carers. I have been using Caremark for many years for my husband who is disabled. I can always rely on them for help when needed. My husband likes everybody that comes.
I am glad to be back with Caremark again after a hospital break. Friendly carers, always helpful, always polite and on time. Also good knowing what time to expect the next call.
Overall, Caremark provides a good service. I do find that there is the occasional chasing and reminding, such as making sure soft drink glasses are washed a bit more regularly. I don’t think they all stay for 1 hour, which I don’t mind if all needs have been met, but very recently Dad has mentioned 1 carer only staying for 20 minutes.
I had been taking some strong antibiotics with really severe side effects, 5 days in, I couldn't cope anymore, and phoned my care provider to cancel my call that day and the next few days. Whilst on the phone, the lady who answered my call talked to me, asking quite a few questions and then advised me to talk to my GP or ring 111. I phoned my GP, and he confirmed I was definitely having an allergic reaction and to stop them immediately! This is the difference of quality and standard of care that I have come to expect from this care agency. They know their clients really well, and in spite of the constant business of the company, nothing is too much trouble. Caremark are absolutely first class. I have always been really pleased to be with them, and this is an example to show why they always go above what one would expect.
The carers and service are brilliant, kind, polite, caring, do a great job, the only trouble is the rota that changes too often without notice. A two-week rota with maybe the same staff would be helpful so we know what time to cook etc.
I find the carers from Caremark are as caring as your name suggests. They ask what my needs are and I have always been impressed with their attitude to please me. They also show an interest in how I am feeling. Whilst I realise that it may be necessary to have a male carer, at times I feel more at ease with a female.
The carers provide an excellent service and are always very friendly and welcoming and could not fault them. They work however with difficulties when it comes to travelling time. They finish one job and then have zero travelling time to get to the next even in some cases this is 6 miles away. Management would be advised to take a day out with carers to see the problems they face.
