We had ComCare for about two and a half years for my mothers care. The carers themselves cannot be praised highly enough. Superb, friendly, extremely good at their jobs and very reliable. We were very happy with them. Then Mum had to go into hospital for a few days. When she came out we thought everything would carry on as it had done for over two years. A day or two after Mum came home we got a phone call from ComCare informing us that they wouldn't be able to carry on my mums care. I was given three different reasons why, none of which actually rang true. My opinion is that while Mum was in hospital, they took on a couple of new clients then realised that where Mum lives would make things inconvenient for them. I spoke to the carers and they were just as shocked as us to find out Mum had been dropped. They had no idea and told me they loved coming to Mum and the distance wasn't a problem to them. Just be aware. If you become an inconvenience you'll be dropped like a stone.
Comcare provide an excellent overall experience of home care, under increasingly difficult prevailing conditions in the sector.
Over the years, I have been grateful for the care my mother receives. I have been contacted many times when Carers have been concerned and I am very grateful.
There is nothing I can say against this company. Service is extremely good.
