When it became necessary for my mother to need a home care provider we didn't know where to start, it was very worrying. However I discovered Esteem Care on the internet and have never looked back. Esteem is a complete and caring service interlaced with carers local to the area allowing my mum to hear local news, very important as she can't get out. If there any concerns regarding my mum they contact me. We receive a weekly rota and know that we can contact the office to discuss any issues that might arise. They have always ensured that great care is taken with hygiene and ensuring that the necessary PPE is worn correctly, especially during those dark days of Covid. They are very professional but also have a lot of fun. We are pleased with the service provided by Esteem and have complete confidence in the service provision.

I am very pleased with the standard of care provided for my father. The staff are always on-time, efficient and very friendly and patient with him. The app is excellent and I also receive a phone call for any concerns that they have.

My sister and I were in quite an anxious place when we realised that we must sort out care for Mum who had become quite unsafe following her husband's admission to hospital. The team were really professional and no stone remained unturned in seeking to provide the help our mum needed. There was no wait for the care to commence and all carers showed Mum dedication and great care especially as Mum can be quite anxious too. Once her husband came home they both needed care for a short time which Esteem provided very well. Mum now is the only one remaining in their care which both Mum and I are very happy with. Extremely professional would highly recommend.

I have been using Esteem for a year now to help care for my stepmum who has Alzheimer’s, I don’t live close by and I also work so can’t see her every day, the staff at Esteem are kind and patient and inform us if there are any concerns. I can see on the app who has been and how they have found my stepmum each day which is invaluable and puts my mind at rest. Nothing is too much trouble and knowing my stepmum is going to need more care as time goes on, I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Absolutely amazing care shown to my dad, and wonderful support to me, following my dad’s return from hospital. The carers and office staff have been incredible and I would have no hesitation to recommend Esteem.

I was really worried re the thought of having to source carers to visit my 95-year-old father who had just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's/dementia. However, we have been so fortunate to find Cumbria View Carer Services and able to ensure my father stays in his own home. I live some distance away and can only stay with him 2 days a week. As his condition deteriorated, I was becoming increasingly concerned re leaving him. However, I can now relax knowing that when I’m not with my father he is safely looked after by a very knowledgeable, professional and caring team. I can also see how my father is the days I am not with him by accessing the carers’ notes on the app they use to record their visits. From the care coordinator, the admin team to the carers themselves, they are all so friendly and each and every one of them goes above and beyond what would be expected of them. Carers are really proactive, always looking to see if anything else can be done to make life easier/safer for my father.

I first began with your service in October 2017. Up until then, I was still having a lovely life with family and friends, however, I had a serious fall damaging my lower back and my legs began to hurt. I couldn't walk very far either. I found it very difficult to get in and out of bed. I had heard of your company and now every morning one of your carers comes at 7:30 - 8:30 am she helps me to get in and out of bed and does a full wash every day from top to toe because I can't get into a bath and bringing breakfast to me when I get into the lounge. Wonderful.

I have had care each morning on Mondays to Friday for half an hour each day to make sure I am safe in a bath and to assist with dressing since May 2013. The care from Cumbria View has always been good and I will be happy to increase my care if necessary. I have also had spells of post-op care to do laundry and shopping and cleaning - all great support and really well done.

The staff are friendly and caring and never appear rushed so I can do things at my own speed. They arrive with a smile so they get a smile back. Despite the traffic problems in the summer and the bad weather in the winter, they are professional when here and are usually punctual. They are helpful and report any concerns they might have so the family are kept up to date with the situation.

Very happy except for lack of continuity. At first, it was constant but now I'm getting another carer more and more with no explanation - very disappointing.
