The care staff are very good - excellent, prompt. Will do jobs (unusual perhaps - if asked). Very polite and willing.

I can't recommend Cygnet highly enough. This is a small company that operates flexibly, humanely, and with common sense, initiative, and excellent communication. The manager is dedicated, and hands-on, recruits and trains great carers and office staff, and is always up to date with everything relating to my dad, therefore I can only assume this is the same for all her clients. I cannot tell you what a sense of relief it has been to have Cygnet in my dad's life, we have been with them for years and Dad's health needs have varied greatly during that time. The carers recognise when something is wrong quicker than any stranger could even if they were a health professional. And when Dad goes into hospital and then the whole treatment and discharge rigmarole begins the Cygnet manager is in constant liaison with the hospital and myself making everything so much easier and more reassuring. This company does fantastic work in a difficult underfunded sector.

The carers are extremely efficient friendly and supportive. Recently they have been wonderful as my husband become very ill. Bed bound and they stepped up. I can't thank them enough, he is recovering well thanks to them.

All carers treat me with respect, dignity, and patience. Also respectful of wife, family, and the home. Reassuring to know that the carer would arrive at the appointed time and be cheerful!

Generally provide excellent care and deal with what can sometimes be a difficult client in a sensitive way. Management keeps me informed of all situations and when required offers good advice to resolve issues that may arise. Occasionally gets mixed up with rotas but sorted quickly.

Since setting up the care for my dad, which was done efficiently and easily, the care provided to him has been first class! The carers always arrive on time and my dad cannot speak more highly of them. This is all such a relief to me, living so far away. Thank you.

I would have liked to put excellent in all boxes but one member of the team is frequently below the high standard of the other carers.

We are very happy with the service carers and management. They are kind, caring, very efficient, and nothing too much trouble and they listen should we have any concerns. It is nice to keep the same carers and not be swapped on a regular basis (which he had with a previous care company). And also any phone conversation gets dealt with.

The staff are friendly and helpful and take an interest in my Mum, getting to know her interests. They do what is needed and what is asked.

A very professional and caring team. Not to be faulted. I can trust all the team and feel very comfortable with them. Any changes to the rota are notified beforehand by telephone New careers are shadowed which works well.

We selected Cygnet Care to meet my Mum's care needs commencing April 2024. This was the first time we had engaged a care agency and it was something of a minefield finding a company that was able to meet our specific needs and understood the difficulty of introducing a carer to assist Mum when she did not perceive this was necessary. The manager was the exception. She listened carefully during our initial phone conversations and when she visited us at home to meet Mum, myself, and my wife. The proposed care plan was discussed and agreed upon, along with associated costs. A number of key practical things were also explained to us including the option for Cygnet Care to become first responders on our Emergency Alarm System and the need for a TEP. The manager selected an excellent team member to provide the service and she has very quickly won the trust and confidence of Mum. Everything related to the commencement of the service has gone much better than I could ever have anticipated.

The team at Cygnet Care have been truly invaluable in assisting my mother and I through many of the confusing situations that occur when a dementia diagnosis is made. Daily visits from the carers, with their thoughtful companionship and assistance to my mother have allowed her to stay independently in her own home. They've also been a great source of advice for myself. I would highly recommend them.

All staff are well presented, they are friendly, kind and respectful. My personal care is respectful of my dignity and they follow care direction from the district nurses for the daily care of my legs, as they heal following injury.

As a family we are delighted and consider ourselves very fortunate that Dad has the quality care that he gets from Cygnet Care. The carers are all really lovely and highly professional - the service is wonderful and Dad (who is a natural worrier) has come to trust and really appreciate them. The staff are all very local and always willing to solve whatever problem comes up - I cannot recommend them highly enough!
