View Full Details of Home Helpers Care LtdHome Helpers Care have been carrying out care visits to my Mother for three years. During that time I felt my Mother was truly cared for and was very pleased with the service provided. Following a recent hospitalisation, Mum's dementia increased. Home Helpers Care stepped up to the mark with increased and longer visits. Over the past few days, Mum's anxiety levels increased drastically to the point where it was obvious that she needed a live-in carer. Once more Home Helpers Care came to our rescue and an emergency live-in carer was found. In my opinion, they went above and beyond their duty. I am so very grateful to them. If anyone is looking for a care agency I would say look no further than Home Helpers Care.
We are so happy with the care that we have received. We have been looked after very well with professionalism, care and dignity. All of the staff have been wonderful and so supportive to the both of us. We highly recommend your services.
We were so nervous about having someone come in to look after my grandma, but Home Helpers Care couldn't have treated her any better. Her live-in care assistant has been fantastic, she's like part of the family! Would highly recommend.
Poor service received. Lack of quality of care and cleanliness from some of the carers although one or two are brilliant so real lack of consistency. Complaints never really acted on. With no checks made on problems reported. The website claims they deal with people with dementia but seem unable to show this in care received.
Home Helpers has made such a difference to my life, they have given me the support that I had thought I'd lost after my stroke. HHC have been there from the beginning of my care and have been by my side throughout.
The carers and the care company are extremely helpful, considerate and offer great support and care to their clients. My only criticism is the lack of payment options and I wish that the care company would agree to be a direct debit originator which would make life considerably easier to manage payments from the client's own bank account. Elderly people are less likely to have access to internet banking and given that the only other option the care company offer is to pay by cheque, it makes it extremely difficult to keep up with payments, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic when family members should be observing social distancing and therefore should not be making non-essential visits to their elderly relatives, such as to write and collect cheques from the family member who is the client.
Choosing home care for elderly parents is so difficult when you’d like to be able to care for them yourself. This isn’t always possible but Home Helpers Care understand that and care for my dad as if he was a friend or family member. They are extremely well trained, caring and professional. They find time for a little chat and take care to know his interests while making conversation. They are always respectful and treat him with dignity. All his carers know him well and are observant to any changes in his health or mood. I have asked them to call me with any concerns, which they do and I am so reassured by this. They don’t make a fuss but keep me well informed. The office is well run and organised. They have a rota system for clients which reassures the client and family. Carers are kept to the same core group for the client which really matters. After past experience with another company, I can honestly say Home Helpers Care are wonderful. As it says in the name, they CARE.
