View Full Details of Home Instead (Ruislip & Harrow)The manager at HomeInstead Ruislip provides an excellent service that allows peace of mind to the Elder receiving the service as well as those family members taking care of the Elder. Reliable and trustworthy, the carers we've had have been kind and treat my mother with respect and compassion. I appreciate their willingness to be accommodating for last minute requests. Overall, it's a pleasure working with the manager and his team.
All carers who visit my Mum are caring, friendly and show concern for all her needs. They are interested in all aspects of her life and the daily feedback on the app is very reassuring to us when we are work. Communication is made very easy with a central contact that is easily texted for any concerns or changes to schedules.
My mum receives excellent , professional and friendly care. We are confident that her carers are able to spot any signs of her being unwell, and always raise their concerns to us so that we can take action. They communicate efficiently so that everyone can work together to ensure mums safety and wellbeing. The lunch club has also been a great addition allowing mum to have her own social activities. Thank you everyone.
We have been using Home Instead (Ruislip & Harrow) for about four and a half years to provide essential care services for my wife who has advanced Alzheimer's. All the carers that have attended my wife have been very professional in their approach to the tasks involved, as well as being very gentle and supportive towards my wife to the extent that I personally consider them all as friends. I am also very pleased by the way that they go beyond simply looking after my wife's needs and help with little jobs around the house when time allows. I truly believe that I am getting very good value for money.
One of the carers is the most professional and caring carer, her kindness and understanding is wonderful, I really cannot put into words how good she is. She will also go out of her way to help new carers and help my husband and I in any way she can. There is no doubt is the most professional I know and we could not do without her thank you. And my husband adores her, her teamwork is so good.
A very considerate and helpful carer.
I am the client. Home care was chosen by family members. I have recently been diagnosed with dementia. I appreciate the help from carers. Certain carers have become almost family members and are very helpful to me as well as becoming family friends.
By having a carer visit I am able to be at home instead of in a care home. From Monday to Friday, the lovely young lady showers me and washes my hair. Once dry, I'm helped to dress. She makes a cup of tea and some breakfast, then clears up. She checks that I've taken medication as prescribed and applies cream to my feet and legs. If anything is bothering me, she will listen and she takes an interest in my family and friends. If she has any concerns, she will discuss them with me and with my family. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I am so grateful for all she does.
I am not in touch with the management. They deal with my PA. I find carers often forgetful.
Always arrive on time and is very friendly, and I am not afraid to ask her to do things for me.
Very pleased with the level of care provided and also pleased with the back office support - early days but so far so good.
I find Home Instead a very efficient organisation. Routine is important and the time set sheets received from Home Instead is just right. Carers I have been allotted by the office have been good and mostly excellent. My current carer is truly a treasure.
All the carers have been very caring, particularly when it comes to showering. I have been encouraged to do my exercises regularly.
We are very happy with the service provided by Home Instead (Ruislip & Harrow). We now have a package with regular carers who Dad has got to know and like. My negatives are the need to cancel seven days in advance - sometimes it's not possible. Also, Dad feels the morning visit is sometimes not long enough, so thirty-minute slots would be useful. The carers are all caring, helpful and trustworthy. Dad looks forward to seeing them!
I have found both caregivers and admin staff excellent in all respects. They are flexible, responsive and unflappable when a problem arises. The organisation of a monthly community club is a bonus and helps to reduce Mum's isolation. I would certainly recommend Home Instead to others.
This lady has always been very helpful and kind and always provides excellent service. She introduced me to the community club after seven years of not being able to get out. She takes me to the club and brings me back.
Mum has been receiving care from Home Instead since September last year. Going on holiday was always a worrying time for me, but when I went away last week, extra visits were set up to give mum the additional care required. The app allowed me to check in on the notes from the carers' visits, so I always felt that I wasn't too far away and I knew how her day was going. Having regular carers help in caring for mum, who has Alzheimer's, has been invaluable. It's like having an extended family supporting me and has taken away a lot of the stress I felt previously. Thanks also to the office staff who are always happy to help out with additional requests (and to prompt me on things I might have forgotten!). Mum and I are both extremely happy and grateful for the support received. Thanks, everyone!
My father is given excellent care and compassion with each visit from his long-term carer. Dad enjoys his afternoons chatting and listening to music and enjoying a cup of tea and a bit of cake. The other carers are also great with Dad when they visit, and we are very pleased with the kindness shown by everyone to do with Home Instead, so thank you very much.
I have been with the company for nearly five years. The carers have always been kind and friendly and the office staff very cooperative. If any changes were required, they would do their ut lost to help. I can recommend them for their services and care.
Home Instead (Ruislip & Harrow) is by far the best care company in this area and I have experience of several others that just do not compare. The carers are second to none and are not only experienced to deal with each client's needs but have an instinctive caring nature and always go above and beyond. The office and management keep everything running smoothly and also run a local community club each month. Nothing is too much trouble and I have recommended them to others.
