When we initially were given a care package the council organised for
independent care to fill my mum's needs. Many of the carers were lovely
and some went above and beyond to help my mum adjust to needing care
despite having little to no training which is evident from day one.
Management is extremely poor and often rude, misinformed, and does not
consider their staff or the client when making last-minute changes to
the rota. The rota is virtually non-existent and never accurate. Bills
are sent through which have not been printed properly and often charging
for calls that have not happened. When these issues have been raised
Management have been rude, ignored them, or extremely slow to deal with
them. Changes to calls are not expected, the client is not notified and
when this is questioned excuses are given but no apology or
consideration is given to the vulnerable nature of clients. I would not
recommend this company to anyone.
