View Full Details of Loving Care Domicilary Services LtdI first met one of the directors in November 2019. I found her to be genuinely warm, compassionate and an experienced dedicated carer. My father is registered as severely sight impaired and needed a home help which then progressed to daily carer visits. During lockdown this year I was receiving intensive treatment for cancer and was unable to visit my father. Loving Care went the extra mile to keep me updated by email and photos of Dad and would alert me if they felt he needed the doctor. Their communication was outstanding and I felt reassured that Loving Care were dedicated to his well-being. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Loving Care for their excellent care. The clue is in the name.
I am bedridden and my mother is elderly, blind, and diabetic. We both receive care from Loving Care. Without any notice to ourselves and only the council, service has been discontinued. The reason given seems to be a disrespectful attitude on my part. It followed shortly after a recent complaint where a knife with butter had been put back in the drawer. The other issue being my friend and also nephew complaining that the kitchen floor was like going into a pub with a sticky floor. This was perhaps my third complaint in two years with Loving Care. Days after my complaint, service was discontinued. I can only assume that if I complain (justifiably) that they walk away. The two managers seem to be the only weak link with the company... but it allows them to take away my mother's only friends. It seems wrong and irresponsible. The carers themselves are wonderful.
