View Full Details of Crossroads Caring For LifeI really enjoy going for a hot chocolate and doing jigsaws.
The care we have received is first rate. Whether it is the respite care or whether it is the day centre, mum receives care that is excellent. The people who come to us are more than just professional they become friends with mum.
What a pleasure it has been to receive support for my mother-in-law and us from Crossroads. The last 2 years would have been hard without the fantastic support workers and the management team. Thoroughly professional, reliable, caring and punctual (as you would expect) the staff go the extra mile whether it's helping with personal care, giving respite visits or providing activities and fun at the day centre. Nothing is too much trouble for the support workers and management team. I would thoroughly recommend them to any new carers looking desperately for support.
Carers are always on time, polite, and efficient. We are kept informed if there are any changes, and we feel everything is run in an excellent way. Well done Crossroads. Couldn't manage without you.
Carer friendly, good company and compliant.
Crossroads has been a life saver for me and my children. My husband has been attending for around six weeks. He is very happy attending and enjoys being with everyone. For me, his toileting is such a big issue at home, fortunately not at Crossroads. He is well looked after and his time spent there is so creative with all the activities. At home, he spends most of his time watching daytime TV or sleeping. I cannot express my appreciation enough of this wonderful service, which allows me respite. Thank you.
A very important part of our care, giving respite time for care.
I cannot fault the care and support I have received from Crossroads. I recently encountered a problem with funding for my dad’s care. The staff went over and beyond to help me, recognising how stressful the situation was for me and being very supportive. Everyone I spoke with was kind, understanding and knowledgeable. The care was sorted out and provided a seamless transition for Dad, which was the important thing. The carers who visit Dad have become an integral part of his support and we couldn’t manage without them. I always receive clear details of visits or changes well in advance. Extremely happy with this care provider. Well done.
Our first experience with a carer was all new to my wife and I, so we were surprised at what we received - in the nicest possible way. Having said that, the standard has only got better as the various carers have got to know us and we them. Our present two carers - on separate days - are excellent company for my wife, leaving me free to do other things. All in all a very satisfactory arrangement. Thank you.
I am so fortunate to have the care and security of being looked after by Crossroads carers. They have been so encouraging, patient and attentive when accompanying me to the sports centre for my weekly, special remedial exercise sessions. Also, I am so pleased that it gives my wife the opportunity to have a break from being my full-time carer. She enjoys going to her choir and meeting up with friends.
Totally happy with Crossroads service. Service funded so not able to answer value for money.
Crossroads provides me with five hours of 'time out' from being the sole carer of my husband each week. The time is little but it is time that I have become so grateful for. Some space to relax and simply think about myself.
My husband and I have an excellent service from Crossroads Care. The carer has gone out of his way to help us to carry on our day-to-day life. He is a person I can have a conversation with when I am down due to stress.
My care is good when our permanent carer attends. I go out and feel safe. But when she is not available I'm sent carers who are unable to meet my disability needs.
Our carer always arrives on time, with a smile and a cheery greeting for Mum. We trust her completely and are able to go out for a couple of hours with complete peace of mind that Mum is being well cared for.
Over eight years we have had consistently excellent care from Crossroads. All our carers have been polite, good at their job, understanding and kind. I have no concerns re safety and honesty. Thank you for a well-run service.
The carer sits with my husband for two hours a week, so I can go to the swimming pool and walk for my bad back.
An excellent service, which provides real peace of mind. It means that I can go food shopping in peace, knowing that the carer has taken my husband to a garden centre for coffee and cake! My husband has Alzheimer's and knowing that the carer comes every Monday morning is very reassuring.
Your carer arrives on time and takes my wife to various venues for two hours per week, leaving me to pursue activities like gardening or house repairs for two hours. Well done, much appreciated.
I have nothing but praise and gratitude for one lady at Crossroads, as it gives me a three-hour break from 24/7 care once a week!
