View Full Details of Premier Care Services LtdMy Dad was 89 years of age when Premier Care Services took over his home care where he was living independently but needed a care provider. I identified them as a Care Company due to their CQC feedback and scoring. Dad was diagnosed with dementia when they took him on and his only requirement was that he wanted to stay in his home and not go into a Care Home. Dad was not easy at this point, he could be challenging and a little ungrateful in his interaction with people. Premier were amazing with him from the outset and were able to work with him and over time get the very best from Dad, Dad literally significantly improved! Dad had sufficient funds to pay for his own care and had eight hours a day, two carers in the morning, 1 sitting over lunch into the afternoon and two carers in the afternoon. With this level of support he was able to stay at home but the gentle stimulation of being with people he pulled back from where he was, to be able to go and play a tune on his beloved piano.
We changed care providers for my mum in October, due to her previous care agency being inadequate. I chose Premier Care Services and I'm so glad I did. They are a good example how a well run care agency can make difference to a person's care. A member of staff came and met mum, assessed her needs and then matched her to the carers mum has now. Mum is happy with her care and has certainly enjoyed the home cooked breakfasts she gets each morning! Premier set up a WhatsApp group for them, myself and the carers. This is so good for me, the carers show me what meals mum has had and what snacks they have left mum if she gets hungry. They can let me know any concerns they have with mum, also if there is anything they need picked up in the shopping. It means I have direct contact with Premier and the carers which allows me to see each day how mum is. This is so helpful as I don't live near to my mum so we can chat about her day on the phone without me worrying about the care she is getting.
I am thrilled to have come across Premier Care when had to find support with daily living tasks for my wife- a stroke survivor. During the assessment, the team took the time to understand the specific needs and challenges and adopted a personalised care plan that facilitates the physical and emotional well-being of my wife. The team are honest, and highly skilled professionals in handling the complexities that come with caregiving. I have no hesitation in recommending Premier Care to anyone in need of care services.
Due to my mum having Dementia and living on her own at the time, we made the decision to get mum a carer just for the company. I was recommended Premier Care by a friend who was using them for her mum. From the first call, and then meeting I knew Premier Care were the one for me. Doreen was wonderful, even though mum was very reluctant, The manager was so kind and caring that mum agreed to try. Well, we have never looked back and along came the carer. Mum had to leave her home and go into Assisted Living - the carer was our Guardian Angel, mum was very unhappy but seeing her friendly familiar face was her reassurance. Mum didn't last long in Assisted Living and we had to make the hardest decision to put her in a home - again the carer was our Guardian Angel and the familiar face Mum needed to make her feel safe. I would wholeheartedly recommend Premier Care to everyone. They are an amazing team and will be forever grateful to them all.
My mum died in August 2023, after receiving care from you for 4 months. Your carers were kind and loving, treating my mother not only with dignity and respect, but also in the same way that they would care for their own parents. They brightened my mother’s final months and nothing was too much effort for them. At times when my mother became agitated due to pain, they soothed her by singing to her. They were gentle with my mum, and although I set extremely high standards for the level of care I required for Mum, they never minded when I asked them to “tweak" aspects of their visits. When Mum died, several of the carers came round to pay their respects. It touched me that they had bonded so strongly with my mum in the time that they had known her. I would wholeheartedly recommend Premier Care to anyone needing help with caring for a loved one. They are a truly amazing team of workers and I am extremely grateful to them all.
Premier has been very helpful and accommodating in changes to care needs that happened at a moment's notice. They were always very responsive and supportive in helping us whenever we have required changes and support. Special mention to one member of staff in particular who always was willing to accommodate sudden requests and requirements. I would contact them if I needed care support again.
When I had to find a daily care package for my father due to his lack of mobility I was concerned about my ability to find a solution that both my parents would be happy with. I was very fortunate to find Premier Care - from day one the staff were reliable, conscientious and immediately made the difference that was required. I am more than happy to pay the monthly bill as it was indeed value for money. Would heartily recommend.
I have been using Premier Care Services Ltd for the past four years and during this time I have found them to be extremely reliable. They always ensure that I have the same carer and if this is not possible I am always informed in a reasonable time. I find that the staff maintain a high standard of care. The carer is friendly and very respectful to me and my family. They maintain professionalism at all times and are sensitive to my personal needs. My carer is very polite and communicates well with me.
A truly unbelievable service. The package required was not straightforward and changed very quickly. They adapted to every change immediately and left me in no doubt that I could rely on them. Their carers are second to none. Have no hesitation in using their services. I love their can-do attitude.
We have used Premier Care Services for many years for my father. The carers have been excellent and looked after my father very well. The carers have been polite and respectable. On occasions, there has been staff turnover and this has sometimes resulted in the care routine not being consistent, however, once this has been raised to the management team, it is resolved very quickly. I am so glad that my father had the great care provided by Premier.
All I can say is the services are top-notch, all you want is done. The carers are kind and I have no complaints.
I cannot comment on the carers as I do not see them regularly. The office staff are very helpful. Different carers attend - not the same carers each week.
Both my dad and I were very happy with the level of care from Premier care services and their ability to quickly respond to our changing schedules. We would happy to recommend them to anyone looking for home care.
The agency is very nice to work with, lovely workers. I think all of the office staff are very kind and friendly. The Director knows how to recruit lovely staff. I used this agency in the past when they first started out and they were good then. It is nice they have maintained their high standards.
Absolutely exemplary care of my elderly mother in the last few months of her life. She was able to die at home with her family around her because of the care she received from Premier Care Services Ltd. She was treated with care, dignity and kindness by everyone who visited her. Premier Care responded with more visits as her needs increased and tried to send the same carers to her that she has built a relationship with. It was hard, as a family, to entrust these tasks to someone else, but we cannot fault the care and compassion she was shown.
All the ladies that come to my husband are very good and kind. I am very happy with them.
My mother suffers from Alzheimer’s. The manager from the care company came to the house to assess my mum and together we came up with a care plan. The care worker who came to support mum, treated her with respect and dignity. When mum’s behaviour was difficult, the care worker was always calm and professional. She was also a shoulder for me to cry on when I could not cope with looking after mum. I cannot recommend Premier Care enough and will always be grateful for their support.
We have experienced consistently great service from the carers and office staff. They really care about the service they are providing and keep us informed of what is happening at all times. Our carers go above and beyond which puts our minds at rest knowing our parents are cared for so well.
I have only been using them for a short while but have found them very satisfactory when I needed a little support with my husband. The carer is very friendly and kind and helps look after my husband when I go out, making lunch and cups of tea. They are trustworthy and helpful and I would certainly recommend them.
The carer looks after my Mum who unfortunately has Alzheimer's. She provides great personal care each weekend morning from 7 am, we would have liked it to be more days but we have managed to find others to help us on some of the weekdays. The carer is kind, empathetic, thorough and a really efficient carer. She is a great example of a great carer. Thanks!
