Ten years ago, SafeCare provided a lovely lady to clean my mum’s house. My mum always looked forward to her visit as she was efficient and friendly. A year ago, I needed to arrange domiciliary care visits twice a day to provide personal care to my bed-bound father. What a delight when the same lady arrived. Straight away, I thought this was a good testament for a company to still have the same staff member after so many years. SafeCare provided twice daily personal care visits to my dad for 10 months. All of the small group of staff that visited my dad were caring and thoughtful, and he even developed a special relationship with two of them. They are a small, local company, run by a lady who clearly stays involved in her staff and clients. She also did what she could to accommodate extra visits, even at short notice. Thank you to all the team! And I would not hesitate to recommend them.
The manager and her team provided outstanding 'end of life' care to my father in the last 11-days of his life at home. All the carers were empathetic/caring and thorough in the service that they provided. It made the last 11-days of my father's life a little easier.
Clarity of what shopping means. Safe Care only supports one place shopping. Which means that I can't access a range of shopping opportunities (shops). Under an agreement with the social worker I had in writing I had two hours shopping at 2 shops. SafeCare disagreed and would support in one place only. I think Safe Care should make it clear that it is one place (shop) on their website. This was never discussed at the time of signing the contract with Safe Care.
