View Full Details of Supportive SRC LtdMy dad was looked after by Supportive carers for over 2 years before his recent death and the care given was brilliant. He liked things done 'his way' and I can only think of 1 of the many carers that he grumbled about to me and that may have been his dementia or a clash of personalities. You understood and adapted. He loved to see one particular carer walk through the door and you kindly put him, whenever possible, on her rota. This reflects on you when employing and training staff to enable them to cope with his various medical and mental needs. I could relax knowing that if he was unwell, someone would ring me, if I wasn't available, they would ring the doctor or 111 on my behalf. When absolutely necessary, with your approval, carers stayed with him until help arrived. Everyone was lovely to him, talked to him which he loved, and gave the care to him that they would give to one of their own relatives. I was upset they would support me too. I couldn't have asked for more.
This is just a message from the family and the client. My mother absolutely adores a certain carer and is very disappointed if anyone else turns up although she always says she has some lovely people coming to see her. When Mam is unwell, she goes over and above her duties never rushes her and always endeavours to do what Mam wants. Mam can get very self-centred and demanding but the carer again speaks quietly and explains everything to her and calms her down. Mam's face lights up when she knows it is the carer coming through the door and she makes time to chat to her whilst going about her duties, bringing Mam up to date with what is going on locally and answering her questions. She is more than a carer, she is becoming a friend who Mam feels very comfortable with and whom she trusts implicitly. I would say she is an employee to treasure and praise for her diligence caring and compassion which hopefully reflects on your business.
I would like to thank Supportive for the exemplary care they have provided for my Father during both his advanced Dementia and more recently, End of Life care. All members of the Supportive team have shown real professionalism and kindness, not only to him but towards my Mam, as well. It takes a special kind of person to do the job they do and I must commend them on the care they provide and the way the carers relate to both my parents. It’s sometimes not easy to have people you don’t know in your house, 4 times a day but they have all made this necessity quite seamless, with their sense of humour and ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude. I would also like to thank the managers for being so approachable and easy to talk to. I have always found the whole team will go the extra mile to help as much as they can. I would recommend Supportive to anyone who needs care in the home.
Amazing service from the carer. Happy, smiling and really positive when popping in and helping my father-in-law with daily tasks, despite the barriers he puts in place! Thank you from his family. We really appreciate the genuine care you are providing.
Your staff were very caring and compassionate when my partner was receiving palliative care. They carried out many tasks but were especially caring and resourceful in making my partner feel comfortable before they left our home, even though by then he had a large bed sore and other physical problems. They made sure that my partner felt ‘heard’ in his requests for help, and did a very good job of making us both feel supported. Also, your staff were flexible so that you were able to structure the visits of your staff around other care offered by the district nurses and specialist health care services so that care was offered in a ‘joined up’ manner. Sadly my partner is now deceased, but he commented very positively about your staff whilst receiving care. Thank you to your staff for everything that they did for us.
Supportive SRC looked after my grandmother, the care staff were kind and caring. They showed empathy and put my gran at the heart of all they do. I cannot recommend this company enough for their hard work. I would recommend this company, they even helped us with their volunteer driver service so my gran could be supported, easing pressure on the family.
My Dad came out of hospital last year, really didn't want a carer as ex-army and very independent. We had a lovely carer who was very understanding and caring. She went above and beyond with my Dad and made him very comfortable in his own home. Nothing was a bother, she and my Dad have a special bond which allows me the break I need. Can't thank Supportive SRC enough for what they do, from office staff to management.
Just getting in touch to highlight to you the great care that my mam is receiving from her care team. All of the staff who support Mam are kind, caring, efficient and great role models for how care should be provided for older adults. They are consistent in their approach to treating Mam with dignity and respect. Having developed a therapeutic bond with Mam, staff are able to adapt to her changing physical and emotional health needs - a good illustration of this is that as time goes on Mam is having more difficulty with her communication - to some, this could prove a challenge; however, the staff always approach this with a lovely balance of patience, compassion and humour. We feel very fortunate to have them and just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication.
All staff are friendly and caring. Haven't come across any negativity. Only had one bad experience where a carer didn't attend. Her excuse was a disgrace. I don't ever want her ever again to be sent to me.
Excellent care is offered by staff (carers) from Supportive SRC Ltd. There were two consistent teams - which was helpful. They were kind, considerate and thoughtful. Carers undertook all requested tasks with grace and dignity. Nothing was a problem. Could not have had anything better. Brilliant, outstanding service. Thank you so much.
I have found the Supportive help to be most helpful. It helps with the weekly cleaning and keeps up with the weekly jobs about the home. Thank you.
Good, my son loves it. Looks forward to his support worker coming to see him on a morning between 9-9.30 because he goes to day service Monday to Friday. Ps please can I have Diane back plz Mrs Dobson
Good care I get. The girls are very good with me.
My mam has been a client now for some years with Supportive SRC. She is very happy with the services she has with them. We both think the world of her most regular support worker ad she is always happy with all the other support workers that come to her home. She looks forward to their visits and has no concerns at all.
The carers, except for one, are very good. One likes to be the boss and goes to the office to change the care plan. From meeting with myself, the social worker and the physio. No problems with other carers.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful they go above and beyond if I have any problems. They have taken the time to help me sort things out, they also make themselves known to clients by visiting them in the client's home to help in any way that they can. As for the carers, they are a really lovely lot. They go above and beyond too, they are a true credit to the company. They do my personal care with extremely high standards. Yes, I have had some issues but it has been sorted as soon as I have made them aware of the problem, with a lot of different clients, one can expect small hiccups.
My husband required care following a hip operation, and the crisis team of responders were fantastic. They were very polite, professional and caring. The team gave us helpful tips and insight into what services were available; this was so useful as we had never required care before. This gave us peace of mind to know that there were skilled and knowledgeable in not only their care approach but service that is available to us.
My rating for staff and care/support is high, and this is due to her regular care worker, who is amazing; she gets on well with Mum, has such high standards and goes above and beyond. The staff in the office is a mixed bag, and after two years, I now have a person that contacts me when needed. I do worry about what would happen with Mum if she did not have myself and my husband to speak for her when her regular member of staff is off. We do tend to cancel as her time gets pushed back when she has time off, and sorry, but leaving an elderly, continent person who is unable to mobilise without assistance in bed for over 12 hours is not acceptable. We do understand there is a staffing crisis that is affecting all care agencies - one thing I would suggest is giving staff that haven't been before some information about the person they will be looking after as this will help both staff and the person they are supporting
Good people, well-trained - unlike the previous firm. Easy to get on with, in the short time they've been looking after my wife. Really comfortable with your staff.
In general, we have been pleased with the service provided by yourselves. We have seen a lot of different carers since, some with very little experience and times of visits being erratic. Hopefully, now the holiday period is over, it now will be more stable.
